Title: Case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after arthroscopic surgery of shoulder joint for impingement syndrome and subacromial bursitis Aims: The main aim of the bachelor's thesis is to provide a case study of physiotherapeutic treatment of a patient after arthroscopic sugery of the right shoulder joint for impingement syndrome and subacromial bursitis Methods: The bachelor's thesis was created on the basis of continous professional practises at the Beroun rehabilitation hospital in the days from 10.01. - 04.02.2022 under the guidance Mgr. Marcela Kvapilová. The practical part was taken there constists of the initial kinesiological analysis, determination of short-term and long- term therapeutic plan and the final kinesiological analysis, where the final effect of therapy was evaluated. The patient completed ten therapeutic units over the period of three weeks, each lasting 30 minutes. Examination and the therapeutic methods within the scope of bachelor's studies were applied in the bachelor study. Results: The therapy which the patient underwent had a positive effect due to his previous condition. The final kinesiological analysis showing and confirming improvement of patient's health. The most significant changes were achieved within the range of motion in shoulder joint into...
Case study of physiotherapeutic care of patient with impingement sydrom

Title: The case report of physiotherapy care of a patient with the diagnosis of impingement syndrom. The objective of this bachelor thesis is introduction of physiotherapy of upper limb girdle with impingement syndrom. The thesis is dividend in two main parts. In the first part is described the girdle of the upper limb in the view of anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics. There are listed procedures for testing and treatment and point of view of physiotherapy and surgical treatment by arthroscopic method. In the specialized part is described a detailed case of a patient with impingement syndrom, which consists of the patient's history, incoming examination, therapy, outgoing examination and effect of the therapy . Key words: rotator cuff, shoulder joint, physiotherapy, arthroscopy, impingement syndrom
Complex therapy after surgery impingement syndrome omae
Váchová, Kateřina ; Němeček, Ondřej (advisor) ; Molnár, Petr (referee)
In my work I deal with the processing of case reports of three patients who underwent arthroscopic acromioplasty for the diagnosis of impingement syndrome of the shoulder joint, but each of them was physiotherapy led other way. The work consists of two main parts. The theoretical part includes kinesiology and biomechanics of the shoulder joint, including a description humeroscapularis rhythm and dynamic stabilization. I also deal with the diagnosis and defining impingement syndrome. The next section describes the various methods of complex therapy that can be used for a given problem. The practical part includes processing kinesiology examination, during therapy, and evaluates the effect of treatment with each of the patients. The shoulder joint is the most flexible joint of the human body, which is related to its instability and frequent vulnerability. In NsP Česká Lípa, where I conducted the examination was conducted in 2012, 54 arthroscopic decompression subakromialis type operations in 2013 and this was done in the period from January to end of March already performed 15 operations of this type. This number shows how often a problem is impingement syndrome. The main aim of this study is to compare which approach is beneficial for the patient and how surgery followed by a suitably chosen...
The case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after subacromial decompression and suture of rotator cuff tear
Holubová, Šárka ; Kučerová, Ilona (advisor) ; Oplt, Vojtěch (referee)
Title: The case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient after subacromial decompression and suture of rotator cuff tear Objectives: The purpose of the Bachelor thesis is to summarize the theoretical knowledge about rotator cuff tendon injuries. The practical part focuses on a case study of a patient with this diagnosis. Another objective is to emphasize the importance of physiotherapeutic care after a surgery. Methods: This thesis was created on the basis of a four-week continuous internship at MediCentrum Prague, in the period from 6 January 2020 to 31 January 2020, under the guidance of physiotherapist Vojtěch Oplt. The work includes two main parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part summarizes the knowledge of the rotator cuff and its injuries. The practical part analyses a detailed physiotherapeutic case report of the patient after suturing the rotator cuff. Results: The practical part proposes the final kinesiological analysis and evaluates the effect of the physiotherapy, which showed a distinct improvement in the patient's condition after seven therapeutic units. The most significant development was the increase in the range of motion in the left shoulder joint. Keywords: case study, shoulder joint, rotator cuff, impingement syndrome, physiotherapy
Case Study of Physiotherapy Treatment of a Patient with the Diagnosis Impingement Syndrome
Kubalová, Barbora ; Satrapová, Lenka (advisor) ; Šachová, Dana (referee)
Title: The case study of physiotherapy treatment of a patient with the diagnosis of impingement syndrome. Objectives: The aim of this bachelor's thesis is to summarize the theoretical knowledges about the diagnosis of impingement syndrome in its first part. The following part is focused on elaboration of the case study of the patient with this diagnosis. Methods: This bachelor's thesis was drawn up on the basis of intership in the Centrum léčby pohybového aparátu in Prague between 7. 1. 2019 - 1. 2. 2019. This bachelor's thesis consists of two parts - the general one and the special one. The objective of the general part, which resumes information drawn from the scientific literature, is to approach the issue of impingement syndrome. The special part includes a case study of the patient with this diagnosis and contains the initial kinesiological analysis, the aim of the therapy, description of the therapy and its final evaluation. Results: I have managed to summarize the theoretical knowledges of the problem of the diagnosis in the general part of the thesis. In the special part I have processed the patient's case study. In the course of the therapy, the patient's condition improved subjectively by 20%. In an objective evaluation, the greatest improvement occurred in the range of motion of the...
The case report of physiotherapy care of a patient with the diagnosis of impingement syndrome and lateral epicondylitis
Kavka, Tomáš ; Vláčilová, Ivana (advisor) ; Feherová, Martina (referee)
Title: The case report of physiotherapy care of a patient with the diagnosis of impingement syndrome and lateral epicondylitis The main goal of this thesis is to summarize the knowledge about impingement syndrome diagnosis and physiotherapeutic work with patients being diagnosed with this syndrome. The theoretical part will describe the anatomy and biomechanics of the shoulder girdle, etiopathogenesis of impingement syndrome and various methods that are suitable for treating these patients. In the practical part, which was based on the cooperation with the assigned patient, I will apply the acquired knowledge about the proposed topic. Key words: shoulder joint, shoulder girdle, rotator cuff, impingement syndrome, physiotherapy
Case study of physiotherapy care of a patient diagnosed with rotator cuff syndrome
Janatová, Klára ; Dudová, Agnieszka (advisor) ; Charvát, Robert (referee)
Title: Case study of physiotherapy care of a patient diagnosed with rotator cuff syndrome. Objectives: Summary of theoretical knowledge of the rotator cuff conditions and their treatment using physical therapy. Case study of a patient diagnosed with rotator cuff syndrome. Methods: The general part covers conditions of the rotator cuff, the impingement syndrome and physiotherapy methods used in pathology of the subacromial space. It also includes anatomy, kinesiology and biomechanics of the shoulder girdle. Case study of a patient with diagnosed with rotator cuff syndrome is described in the special part. Therapy plan was determined on the basis of history and input kinesiology analysis and the effect of therapy was evaluated after individual therapies and output kinesiology analysis. Results: Motion in the patient's shoulder joint is painfree. Range of motion is increased in both flexion and abduction, and muscle strength is increased too. The patient was advised to continue physical therapy. Keywords: shoulder joint, impingement syndrome, rotator cuff, shoulder arthroscopy, physiotherapy
