The subject of this bachelor thesis is to develop project documentation for the construction of a new apartment building with nearly zero energy consumption. The new building is proposed in the Ponava locality, near the center of Brno. The proposed residential building has four above-ground floors and is fully basemented. The design includes three different layouts of residential units to ensure variability and functionality for different groups of residents. The building is equipped with an elevator. The basement contains a communal garage with sixteen parking spaces and storage rooms (cellars), which are integrated with the parking spaces. Each residential unit has an allocated parking space and a storage room. In total, the residential section comprises twenty-one residential units, most of which have a terrace, loggia, or balcony. The residential building is founded on a base slab. The structural system of the building combines monolithic reinforced concrete elements. The basement consists of reinforced concrete load-bearing walls, internal columns, and reinforced concrete internal walls in the stairwell area. On the above-ground floors, within the perimeter wall of the stairwell recess, a reinforced concrete wall with continuous openings is designed. The remaining parts of the above-ground floors are composed of a skeleton structural system with reinforced concrete two-way beams and infill masonry. The ceiling structure consists of monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. The building is roofed with a single-layer flat roof with a membrane waterproofing. The facade of the building is designed with a ventilated air gap. The cladding consists of brick cladding panels mounted on an aluminium support frame.

The bachelor’s thesis deals with the preparation of project documentation for the construction of a new apartment building in Blansko. The standalone object in flat terrain has four above-ground floors with the last one receding and one underground floor. The underground floor is designed with parking spaces, storage boxes, technical facilities, and waste facilities. All above-ground floors are designated for living, where there are a total of 23 residential units. The first above-ground floor has 6 residential units (including one residential unit for people with limited mobility and orientation), the second and third floors have 7 residential units, and the fourth floor has 3 residential units. The residential units are designed in the form of 1+kk to 3+kk. Access to the residential units is from the main corridor, which leads to the vertical communication core, which has an elevator and a two-arm staircase. The structural system of the building is designed as a transverse wall. The building is based on reinforced concrete piles. The ceilings are made of monolithic reinforced concrete slabs. The roofing of individual parts of the building is designed with flat single-shell roofs, where the roof over the 1st floor and terraces are walkable and the roof over the 4th floor is designed as a membrane with a covering of softened PVC. The bachelor’s thesis includes project documentation for the construction.
Residential building

This bachelor thesis is focused on the development of project documentation for the construction of a residential building with nearly zero energy consumption. The aim of the work was to design the building disposition with an appropriately chosen structural and material solution. The residential building is designed on a plot of land located in the northern part of the city of Brno, in the borough Líšeň. The plot of land is characterized by its slightly sloping terrain. The residential building is a free standing building with a rectangular floor plan. The building has 5 floors, where one floor is a collective garage with technical equipment and the other four above-ground floors contain residential units with storage spaces. The above-ground floors consist of a total of nineteen residential units. Parking places with a total of 32, are located in the collective garage and in front of the building. The structural system of the building is designed as a transverse skeleton, supplemented by a wall system on the above-ground floors. The perimeter walls are made of acoustic lime-sand blocks, which are supplemented with mineral wool. The building will be roofed with a single layer green flat roof with extensive greenery. The appearance of the building will be formed by a neutral white plaster, which will be supplemented by anthracite plaster elements in the balcony area. The appearance of the building will be complemented by anthracite window frames, doors and tinkering products. As part of the work, assessments of heating technology, acoustics, lighting and fire safety were carried out. All requirements set by the standard were met.
