Marie-Anna Kociánová Title: Small sacral monuments in the eastern part of the Kutná Hora region. The area between the rivers Kejnárka and Doubrava This bachelor thesis briefly characterises each type of wayside shrines and mainly focuses on their occurrence in east part of Kutná Hora district between Klejnárka and Doubrava rivers. The aim of the thesis is to determine at least approximately when each wayside shrine was built and in which city is the oldest one located, eventually also trace back which type of wayside shrines were built generally earlier and on the other hand generally later in this district. Another aim of the thesis is to compare characteristic types of shrines and their similarities in close-by villages as well as in the whole district. The similarities are for example a specific usage of materials and methods in a certain time period, or the same local builder being involved. The sub-aims are firstly to determine if there is any type of wayside shrine missing in one of the villages and its vicinity and secondly to determine if all of the wayside shrines are recorded in both present and historical cartographical sources. The second part defines the area of exploration, its description and a list of specific sacral monuments located in the given territory. The third part focuses on preselected sacral monuments - description of the monument and its location, possible relationship of people to the monument.

The Diploma thesis "Small sacral monuments in the town of Lanškroun" provides a comprehensive overview of small sacral monuments in the town of Lanškroun, with the primary focus being restored or newly built monuments. In the first part of the work, I describe the characteristics of this locality, basic typology and history, iconography, and the method of restoration of small church monuments in Lanškroun. The second part focuses on the pastoral use of small sacral monuments, and the circumstances that led to their creation or repair.
Mapping small sacred architecture in the northern Pilsen region

This work deals with small sacral architecture in the selected region of northern Pilsen and specifically around the village Unesov. Small sacral architecture in this area are mainly crosses, chapels, statues and Calvary. The aim of this work is a detailed study of small sacred architecture in selected areas in terms of natural and historical contexts. The search part is devoted to the essential characteristics of small religious monuments and historical maps on display. Part of the research is devoted to sights not religious origins. The key outcome of this work is small monuments catalog with detailed documentation of each object and using the ArcGIS geodatabase created.
The Spiritual Dimension of the Landscape and its history as a means of education for children in the Out of School Care And Recreation (OSCAR)

The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the relation between the spiritual dimension of a landscape and spiritual growth of a child. It draws on psychological research of younger school children, concentrates on communication and group behavior of children. It further draws on discoveries of pedagogy of free time, especially in the environment of a school club. From the spiritual point of view, it tracks the overlap of humans and landscape; it examines their relationship and interaction, concentrates on specifics of value in connection with the transcendent and the projection of these specifics into a landscape that surrounds us. This projection helps us to understand not only the organization and appearance of this landscape in time but also the inner landscape of our soul. This thesis focuses on the landscape in the very heart of Premyslid Central Bohemia. The practical part of this thesis consists of two concepts for creative work in a school club. These two concepts aim to help to develop children spirituality, their enrichment through experience and creativity, help to develop social competences of children and prevent psycho-social problems through various activities reflected in a group of children working together. These activities include group visits of churches, chapels, crosses, commemorative crosses and stones, quells, wells and bells and ensuing search of values in our inner selves. The practical part of this thesis stresses the importance of creativity in children, looks for possible topics of its development within the framework of activities organized by a school club.
