Faktory ovlivňující počet somatických buněk v mléce dojnic českého strakatého skotu ve vybraném podniku

The aim of this bachelor thesis was to assess and evaluate the factors influencing the number of somatic cells in milk of Czech spotted cattle in a selected enterprise in Vysočina region. The factors investigated included the stage and order of lactation, fat and protein content of milk and the number of somatic cells in milk during one year. The data that were evaluated were from the farm's 2021 performance check. For the selected values, the average values and other mathematical and statistical indicators were calculated and compared with each other. After evaluation and comparison of the data, it was found that the number of somatic cells is influenced by the stage and order of lactation. No effect on somatic cell count was found for fat, protein and total rumen for normal lactation.

The diploma thesis assesses influence of physical condition of Czech spotted cattle before birth on the subsequent metabolic, production and reproductive parameters. Monitoring lasted from February 2020 to March 2021 on the dairy farm in Lísek in the Highlands. The physical condition of dry cows was assessed fourteen days before the expected parturition using a five-point BCS (Body Condition Score) system with an accuracy of 0.25 points. Dairy cows were routinely sampled on the 8th day after birth and the level of ẞ-hydroxybutyrate in the blood was determined using a stable test. Data for comparing production and reproduction indicators were obtained from performance checks, the Plemdat portal and the WebSkot program. Data from dairy production used for our monitoring were limited to 60 DIM (lactation day). The mutual influence of BCS on the level of ketone bodies in the blood, on the fat and protein content in milk were compared, when no statistical evidence was proved. Highly statistically significant differences (p <0.01) were noted between high degree of fitness (BCS), milk yield and length of service period. Blood levels of β-hydroxybutyrate in excess of physiological values were considered to be ketosis. Comparable effects of ketosis showed statistical significance (p <0.05) between ketosis, milk yield and ratio of fat to protein. A highly statistically significant difference (p <0.01) was observed between clinical ketosis and somatic cells in milk.

The diploma thesis deals with the influence of the month of birth on selected parameters of meat yield of cows of the Czech spotted cattle breed. For this purpose, 260 cows of this breed were evaluated in the selected company GenAgro Říčany a. s. Within the meat performance, the following parameters were monitored: carcass weight and net gain, as well as meatiness and fattening. I found that the cows born in August had the highest meatiness. Cows born in June had the lowest value of meatiness. In terms of fatness, the highest values of dairy cows born in March reached the highest value, this value was 3.32, the lowest values of cows born in June, it was 2.87. The research shows that the highest carcass weight was in cows born in August, the cold weight was 370.30 kilograms, the lowest values were reached by cows born in June and it was 331.71 kilograms cold. The highest net increases were in dairy cows born in September. The average net gain in glow-born cows is 269.13 grams per day. The lowest values of net increase were in dairy cows born in November, and it was 184.55 grams per day. The effect of the month of birth on the meat yield of cows was conclusive.

This diploma thesis focused on the influence of the location effect in the milking parlor on the quantity and composition of milk, on the content of protein, lactose, fat and somatic cells in milk, the influence of calf sex, calving age, season and year of calving on milk content and quality. The average performance parameters of the monitored dairy cows were as follows: milked volume of 23.6 kg, protein content 3.54 %, fat content 3.76 %, lactose content 5.01% and the amount of somatic cells 158.20 thousand/ml. The parameters of milk yield depending on the amount of milk were analyzed, where the largest average milk yield was found in the effect of calving age up to 24.65 kg of milk in heifers up to 850 days old. Further, the parameters of milk yield depending on protein were evaluated, when the highest average content was measured in 2019, namely 3.65 % of protein, in the evaluation of milk yield depending on lactose, the highest average content was measured in dairy cows aged calving up to 800 days of age and was 5.04 %. The highest average amount of fat reached dairy cows calved in summer, when the fat content was 3.82 %, the highest average amount of somatic cells was measured in dairy cows aged at the first calving up to 800 days, and was 573.37 thousand /ml.

The study compared the metabolic profile of dairy cows depending on the lactation phase. Based on the results, possible metabolic risks were evaluated and the results were compared with the available literature.

The diploma thesis focuses on the position and performance of the agricultural business in the current agribusiness environment in the Czech Republic. A selected agricultural com-pany, which is PROAGRO Radešínská Svratka, a.s., is characterized in the thesis. The business core of this company is crops, animal and other production. An important line of the agricultural business is the milk commodity and the production of biogas. Selected indicators of financial analysis were used to evaluate the economic situation of the company. Based on that, it has been concluded that the company is in an acceptable financial situation. It can respond appropriately to the stimuli from the outside environment through its strategic decisions. The thesis draws attention to the main milestones of strategic decisions and their causes. It also considers possible future threats.
Changes of the meat quality meat characteristics during storage

The bachelor thesis is focused on the evaluation of quality characteristics of beef during its storage. The literature review defines the term beef, the consumption of beef in the Czech Republic, describes its chemical composition and properties. In this work The paper evaluates the factors that affect the quality of beef and their distribution. It is further characterized by the maturation of meat, then its storage. The practical part is focused on the measurement of basic analytical components in the muscle of cattle, originating from their own breeding and from a farm with comparable breeding conditions. The aim of this bachelor thesis was to compare the properties of meat of three breeds of cattle, especially to determine the changes in the basic analytical values of meat during its long-term storage. The amount of water, protein, fat and collagen was monitored using a NIRMaster instrument and the results were then compared.

The main significance of the diploma thesis was to evaluate in a clear form the influence of the level of heifer rearing and age at the first calving on the performance and longevity of dairy cows of Czech spotted cattle in the herd of Agro Kunčina a.s. Data of 390 dairy cows for the last five years were used. The data obtained were sorted according to key indicators, namely age at first calving, age at weaning, performance at first lactation, lifetime performance, milk content, order of lactation and causes of weaning. The available statistical methods were used to evaluate the effect of age at first calving on performance, longevity, causes of exclusion and content of milk components..

The analysis of selected effects on milk yield and fertility in a herd of Czech spotted cattle deals with some effects observed on the basis of milk yield control data. The observed values are performance for standardized lactation, fat and protein content in milk, length of interval, service period and insemination interval. The age at first calving and its effect on milk yield as last factor. In period 2016 - 2018 are compared diary cows in their first three lactations. In the first part of the Bachelor thesis the history is processed and brief description of Czech spotted cattle. The following chapters deal with milk yield and fertility and selected factors mentioned above. The experimental part of the work presents the company where the observation was performed. The results are evaluated and presented into tables and graphs and then compared with the national results and according to the available literature.

Prosperous reproduction is the basis for every successful breedinf, i tis the most important factor, which testifiest the overall quality of breeding. In the Czech Republic. reproductive indicators are currently deteriorating. The aim of the work was to prepare a literature review of cattle reproduction, influences on eproduction and to characterize the breed Czech spotted cattle,. The aim of the monitored set of dairy cows of Czech spotted cattle was to evaluate tho effects on selected fertility indicators and evaluate them. In the selected breeding of Czech spotted cattle were evaluated selcted indicators of reproduction (interval, service period, insemination interval) of selected dairy cows (120 pieces) were evaluated for the monitored period of 2 years, from 1 January 2017 to 31 December 2018. These indicators werw further evaluated according to individual factors (influence of lactation order, influence of milk yield and influence of age at 1st calving)
