Commented translation: The Laws of Cricket (Marylebone Cricket Club, 2003)

The first part of this thesis is a translation of the Preface, the Preamble, the first 15 Laws and Appendices A and B from The Laws of Cricket. The aim of this translation is that it will be used by Czech speakers while playing cricket in the Czech Republic or elsewhere. Cricket in the Czech Republic is not a widespread sport and thus several new Czech terms had to be created. The second part analyzes extratextual and intratextual factors of the original text according to Christiane Nord, describes the main translation problems and their solutions, shows the translation method and lists shifts which occurred in the translation.

Monitoring women age structure in the highest handball league"WHIL".\\

The main objective of this thesis is to analyse changes of age structures of women players in the highest handball league ``WHIL{\crqq}. There are collected data from protocols from particular matches in matrixes and graphs. These data are divided according to the teams in individual seasons. We can analyse and compare those figures. Results show changes of age structure in particular teams and how did the age average of the whole league change in particular seasons.

In my thesis I deal with exclude switches. The thesis is specialized on fourteen football representatives of ČSSR team and fourteen football representatives of ČR team with most implications in representative matches. The work is specialized on period by 1962 for ČSSR team and by 2003 for ČR team.
