Approaches to Business Financing

Every year, several thousand new companies are established in the Czech Republic, which not only have to figure out with what product or service will they break through on the market, but also how to finance this activity. Due to the current severe competition in the market economy of a company, the initial capital only would not be enough because sooner or later the company will address the issue of covering the costs of its further development. The aim of this thesis is to define possible approaches to financing business activities, both at the beginning of business and during it. There are many possibilities of obtaining funds, but each option must be assessed according to the individual situation of the company. This thesis further focuses on the evaluation of company financing through financial analysis indicators. The practical part focuses on a specific business entity, which is characterized by the development of tits financial structure and then an analysis of the sources of its financing is carried out.

Analysis of the specifics in the business of passenger road-transport

The aim of this work is to provide a concise overview of the current situation in the bus transport business, show differences in performance of large and small enterprise in this field and highlight the problems that are occurring here as well. The introductory chapters focus on theoretical problems and their characterization (such as transport policy and transport service) and methodological preparation necessary for the practical part, which pays attention to research of the actual situation of two current subjects operating on the Czech market -- DP hl. m. Praha and ČSAD Vsetín. The confrontation in using several key performance indicators (operational, technical, economic, etc.), the main base there are two companies' annual reports and internal resources provided by the employee of ČSAD Vsetín.

Financial and economic analysis of the company Paramo, a.s.

Cílem diplomové práce je zhodnotit finanční a ekonomickou situaci ve společnosti PARAMO, a.s. v letech 2002 ? 2006. V teoretické části je vymezena podstata finanční analýzy a jsou zde popsány jednotlivé metody finanční a ekonomické analýzy. Druhá praktická část obsahuje samotnou analýzu sledované společnosti pomocí metod charakterizovaných v části teoretické. Součástí praktické části je charakteristika sledovaného podniku a zhodnocení jeho finanční a ekonomické situace pomocí horizontální a vertikální analýzy výkazů, poměrové analýzy, analýzy pracovního kapitálu, Du Pontova rozkladu rentability vlastního kapitálu, Altmanova bankrotního modelu, indexů IN a Kralickova Quicktestu. Součástí ekonomické analýzy je analýza efektivnosti pomocí některých analytických ukazatelů a ekonomického normálu.
