Comparison of mood changes during physical activity in four different environments

Title: Comparison of mood changes during physical activity in four different environments Aims: Using a questionnaire survey and the use of the Stroop test to induce cognitive stress during measurement, the aim of this study is to identify and analyse changes in mood during physical activity in four different environments. Methods: The work was based on a comparative analysis of the data obtained from the questionnaire survey. The Profile of mood states questionnaire was filled in by the probands during one measurement a total of 4 times, before the Stroop test, immediately after it, after 20minutes of walking and after 40 minutes of walking. Data collection took place in February and March 2024 and 6 respondents, respectively students of the Faculty of Physical Education andSport of Charles University, aged 21 to 25 years, participated in the research. Results: The study shows that natural environments such as forests and watercourses have a positive effect on psychological well-being, reducing negative moods, improving cognitive function and increasing vitality. In contrast, urban environments and laboratory conditions canlead to increased fatigue and decreased mental vitality. Current methods of measuring cognitive abilities

The aim of this thesis is to present a selection of cognitive ability measurement methods for adults, especially those that can be administered online. These methods are presented in the context of cognitive ability composition concepts on which they are based. The chosen methods include several IQ tests and various online cognitive performance measurement methods. IQ tests represent measures of general intelligence. The IQ tests mentioned in this study are administered individually or in group settings. The online methods have a narrower focus and are mentioned in conjunction with the platforms that offer these methods. The selection of online methods was based on their prevalence in the literature, with an emphasis on the more common ones, in order to collectively cover a broader range of cognitive abilities. The reliability and validity of the methods are discussed.
The effect of facilitation physiotherapy on cognitive functions in multiple sclerosis patients

Cognitive function disorders have an enormous impact on the life quality of a patient, his or her family and close people. It influences the patient's job, social interaction and independence. This diploma thesis focuses on the possibility of improving cognitive functions concerning multiple sclerosis with the help of facilitation physiotherapy. Twelve disordered volunteers participated a two-month physiotherapeutic programme (motor programs activating therapy), for 1 hour, twice per week. Before the beginning and after the end of the therapeutic programme an examination by a clinic test PASAT and the monitoring of functional magnetic resonance was done. The results of functional magnetic resonance were further compared with the results of group of healthy volunteers. Concerning clinic test, the results of the disordered patients have improved after the therapy. In functional magnetic resonance statistics the earlier start and change of a curve progress of brain activation was discovered, which portrays improving speed of processing information at multiple sclerosis disordered.
