Application of Fuzzy Logic for Decision Support in Financial Markets
Malers, Anatolii ; Šuňavcová, Nikola (referee) ; Janková, Zuzana (advisor)
The master‘s thesis deals with the use of fuzzy model in the investment decision on financial markets mainly with SICAV funds. This model is used for easier and faster decision when choosing a suitable investment for investors. The fuzzy model is created on the basis of criteria that are essential for making decision. This model is designed by MS Excel and MathWorks Matlab.
Evaluation of information systems via fuzzy logic
Hubík, Antonín ; Václavík, Lukáš (referee) ; Janková, Zuzana (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with the application of fuzzy logic principles to evaluate properties of an information system. The practical problem being adressed is a facilitation of selection of a new HR/attendance system according to the needs of a specific mediumsized enterprise, using a custom-fitted fuzzy model design to compare available options. The design of the model is based on system requirements determined from a business analysis and is supported by key theory from the field of fuzzy logic and modelling. The proposed model is implemented in MS Excel and MATLAB environments. The implementations are demonstrated by evaluating five system options. Based on the results, one of the options is recommended for further consideration.
The Application of Fuzzy Logic for Rating of Suppliers
Strečková, Nikola ; Janková, Zuzana (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
This master's thesis introduces a supplier evaluation method based on fuzzy logic, which enables modeling and evaluating uncertain and vague information. The proposed model includes multiple criteria that are important in supplier evaluation. The solution is implemented in the MATLAB and MS Excel environment.
Evaluation of information systems via fuzzy logic
Vraniaková, Lýdia ; Václavík, Lukáš (referee) ; Janková, Zuzana (advisor)
The diploma thesis is deals with analysis of the information system of Gevorkyan, a.s. and choosing a new information system. The aim of this thesis is to create a fuzzy model to support the selection of a new information system in the MS EXCEL and MATLAB environment. The created model will help choosing a new information system for the company. In the theoretical part of the thesis, the problem of fuzzy logic and the creation of a fuzzy model in the MS EXCEL and MATLAB environment is presented. The analytical part is focused on the analysis of the current state of the company and the information system in use using the McKinsey method and the HOS8 and ZEFIS methods. The design part describes the created fuzzy model in both program environments and a comparison of the achieved results.
The Use Of VBA As A Tool For Creating Supporting Business Applications
Sochor, Kryštof ; Sochor, Pavel (referee) ; Dydowicz, Petr (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor thesis is the use of VBA as a tool for creating supporting applications for businesses. Within the scope of my thesis, several of these applications are created that make working with data easier. The thesis also includes a section dealing with the automation of these applications.
Evaluation of information systems via fuzzy logic
Příkaský, Martin ; Václavík, Lukáš (referee) ; Janková, Zuzana (advisor)
The topic of the thesis is the design and implementation of decision models for the evaluation of information systems with regard to the growing importance of the effective use of information resources in organizations. Within this thesis, these decision models are developed in MS Excel and MathWorks MATLAB environments and use fuzzy logic to account for the uncertainty and complexity of decision situations. The aim of this work is to provide Q2 Interactive with an effective tool for selecting an appropriate information system.
Application of Fuzzy Logic for Evaluating Investments in Stock Markets
Mišičák, Filip ; Janková, Zuzana (referee) ; Dostál, Petr (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is the application of fuzzy logic decision support in stock markets.. It theoretically describes the principles of fuzzy logic and selected tools used for trading on stock markets. In the practical part of the work, this information is applied to develop two models for evaluating ETFs using fuzzy logic. Both models, one in MATLAB and the other in Excel, are based on the same fund criteria, yet each model processes and evaluates these inputs using different methods. The results from these models then serve to support decisionmaking for investors.
Mathematical Methods in Economics
Kosíř, Michal ; Doubravský, Karel (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the economic situation of a company using mathematical and statistical methods. The main task was to analyze the economic situation of the company for the period 2020,2021 and 2022 and to develop a tool in Visual Basic for Applications to automate this analysis. The first part is devoted to the theoretical background further needed for the analysis. The second part deals with the introduction of the company and the analysis of the economic indicators of the three entioned years. The final part describes the proposed solution to simplify the analysis.
Application of Multi-criteria Decision Making Methods in Supplier Selection
Suchý, Martin ; Krejčíř, Michal (referee) ; Doskočil, Radek (advisor)
The thesis deals with the selection of a suitable supplier for the supply of machining accessories for a selected company using multi-criteria evaluation methods. In the first part the basic principles of multicriteria decision making, the process and all the methods that are subsequently used in the course of this thesis are explained theoretically. The second part of this thesis focuses on the introduction of the selected company and the analysis of the suppliers. In order to evaluate them, multicriteria decision making methods were used to support the selection process.
Mathematical and Statistical Methods as Support of the Development of Software Applications
Sysel, Filip ; Doubravský, Karel (referee) ; Novotná, Veronika (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the creation of a software application in Visual Basic for Application (programming language) in version 7.1, which facilitates the financial analysis ofa selected company by using selected mathematical and statistical methods. In thetheoretical part, the theoretical framework is defined based on a literature search. The practical part consists of a problem analysis (financial analysis of the enterprise) and a proposed solution to the problem, which includes a proposal for the developed software application and recommendations for the enterprise based on the financial analysis. The software application should then make the enterprise more efficient and faster in creating the financial analysis.
