Estimating the Equivalent Circuit of Lithium-Ion Batteries During Operation
Vašíček, Jakub ; Vyroubal, Petr
This paper deals with the issue of estimating the equivalent circuit of lithium-ion cells during normal operation. The study explores fundamental battery models, such as the simplified Randles circuit and the full Randles circuit. Conventional methods for model estimation, including Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) and Galvanostatic Intermittent Titration Technique (GITT) are examined. The research extends into the real-world data analysis, gained from a home photovoltaic system. Using these data, an algorithm to estimate the equivalent circuit model during battery operation is evaluated. The study investigates the correlation between the proposed algorithm's outcomes and results obtained through EIS and GITT methods.
Integration of Simulator into AAS for Heat Transfer Station
Černocký, Petr ; Arm, Jakub
This work examines the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) in the role of modern management of production units, which is one of the key enablers of the Industry 4.0 phenomenon. The main idea is to connect the simulator with AAS and create a functional architecture that will correspond with the real system. The next step would then be to connect this system with the real one and manage it using this architecture. The open-source program OpenModelica was chosen for the simulation because of its versatile command line use. As an example, a heat transfer system is modeled and simulated. As the results indicate, the OpenModelica simulator takes time to run a simulation that depends on hyperparameters such as samples per interval. Also, submodel for simulation adapter could be templated.

Social Work Students' Perception of the Role of a Social Worker in Substitute Family Care
KOPEČNÁ, Eliška
Substitute family care focuses on children who cannot grow up with their biological parents and need to be provided with an alternative form of family background. There are forms of substitute family care for this purpose, which are: adoption, foster care, temporary foster care, guardianship with personal care and entrusting the child to the care of another person. The system of foster family care is undergoing or is planned to undergo changes as part of the forthcoming amendment to the Act on Social and Legal Protection of Children. In my bachelor thesis I deal with the issue of substitute family care, in which I focus on how students of social work at the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice perceive the role of the social worker in foster family care. The bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and research parts. In the theoretical part I define the concept of foster family care, then I present the basic legal regulation of this issue, I list and define the different forms of foster family care, and finally I define the social worker and describe his role in foster family care, whether it is a social worker in the OSPOD or in the accompanying organization. When compiling the research part, a quantitative research strategy was used and a questionnaire survey method was chosen, which was implemented using my own structured questionnaire. Two hypotheses for further evaluation of the results were set within the research. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out how social work students perceive the role of the social worker in substitute family care.
The role of women in Spanish as a foreign language textbooks: language stereotypes
NIKITÍNSKÁ, Klára
The objective of this bachelor's thesis is to investigate the representation of women in ELE textbooks, specifically in Aventura Nueva 1 and Nuevo Prisma A1. The focus is on the presence of linguistic stereotypes related to the female gender and the visual representation of women. The project begins by describing the main differences between gender and sex. Additionally, it explains the meaning of inclusive language, the generic masculine, the hidden curriculum, and the perception of gender equality in the Common European Framework, the Cervantes Curriculum Plan, and the vision of the Czech Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. The text presents an analysis of the presence of sexist language and stereotypes in the instructions, content of exercises, and visual communication of the books mentioned. The obtained data serves as a source of information for the subsequent development of a didactic proposal. The proposal aims to avoid stereotypical representations of women and highlight their position in society.
Stress management in the healthcare sector
MICHELOVÁ, Lucie
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to identify stressors and evaluate the impact of stress on healthcare workers, including suggestions for changes in current stress management. The thesis also looks at how employees in this sector manage stress and how they prevent stress. The research part of the thesis is based on a questionnaire survey and an unstructured interview with the head nurse of the Hospital Strakonice, a.s., who is responsible, among other things, for human resources activities. The aim of the questionnaire was to find out whether and how stress affects the employees of the Hospital. The questionnaire was approved by the head nurse and, upon her request, was produced in printed form. It was processed on the Survio.cz website and subsequently printed and distributed to 150 respondents, in departments selected by the HR manager. Of these 150, 117 questionnaires were returned. The return rate of this questionnaire is therefore 78%. The questionnaire contains 22 closed questions. The data collected from the paper questionnaires were entered into Microsoft Office Excel and Microsoft Office Word software, which were subsequently analysed and used to produce tables and corresponding graphs. The results show that doctors tend to have many years of experience and practice in the field. In addition, they also have experience in time-management. They perceive their profession as stressful, but they tend not to experience stress after working hours. The general nurse position has the highest number of respondents who perceive their profession as stressful. They have a lot of administrative work: they work more overtime than doctors or paramedics and they do not have free time for recovery or rest. The job position of an orderly, according to the respondents, is the least stressful. Employees in this job are more likely to not experience the effects of long-term stress, probably because they mainly take care of themselves through sporting activities.
Modern trends in logistics of shipments
VAŠÍČEK, Jakub
Progress is unstoppable and naturally also affects the field of logistics. One of the current trends is online shopping, which is closely linked to the delivery of goods to consumers. This bachelor's thesis defines modern trends in the logistics of unit shipments, primarily in terms of e-commerce on the domestic and foreign markets. The work uses a questionnaire survey both for target consumers and for operators of online stores. It also includes a controlled interview with the operator of the parcelshop. Thanks to the understanding of the issue of parcel delivery and obtaining data and information using the above-mentioned methods, at the end of the work it was possible to propose a solution for logistics practice that would help eliminate the shortcomings of current trends in the delivery of parcels.
