Rozvoj a ekonomika obnovitelných zdrojů energie na Slovensku na příkladu skládkového plynu
Mišúnová, Monika
Mišúnová, M., Development and economy of renewable energy sources in Slovakia on example of landfill gas. Bachelor thesis. Brno: 2014. This bachelor thesis analyzes development of renewable energy sources in Slovakia with focus on the utilization of landfill gas. It generally explains what the renewables are, which types are nowadays being used for the electricity production. It closely specifies the landfill gas, its creation, physical and chemical properties, composition, production and utilization for energy purposes. Moreover it characterizes the legislation of The European Union as well as Slovak one. The next part defines the problems and barriers that accrue from the development of renewables in Slovakia. The last analytical part expresses the criticism of constant changes in legislation (mostly in regulation of buying-in prices and fees) before and especially after the year 2009 which results in significant decrease of the available renewable energy sources utilization and their farther development (predominantly from the viewpoint of economic profitability).
Didactic games and their inclusion to physics teaching at basic school
BRABCOVÁ, Jitka
The diploma thesis Didactic games and their inclusion in physics education deals with its play in physics teaching at the second grade of primary school. It focuses primarily on electricity and magnetism and is complemented with the possibility of extracurricular activity and formation of positive attitude towards this area of physics and physics as a whole. The work is divided into a theoretical part, which engages in the theory of games, game didactic requirements and methods of its inclusion in the lesson. Furthermore, the motivation and the end of the theoretical part consists of an analysis of electricity as a topic and magnetism in terms of RVP and school educational programs, including cross-cutting themes and key competencies. The second part deals with the various types of games. A general view includes games with physical principles that can be purchased in our market, computer games and options of educaching. The main part of the educational games contains rules and recommended way of games´ categorization. Plays are divided into chapters. According to their use. Games for one pupil , games and activities for the division of students into groups, games for creative thinking and development of communication, games in the role - " role playing ", games for remember, knowledge games, motion games, card games, relaxing games motivated by electric current, games with a physical base. The conclusion is included verification of using games in the classroom, which is based on observation, pupil´s questionnaire and test of students' knowledge in the chosen field.
Liberalization of electricity market and competition policy
Zámorský, Tomáš ; Zemplinerová, Alena (advisor) ; Misic, Viktorija (referee)
The purpose of the electricity market liberalization is disruption of the rigid market structure, in which monopoly from regulation abuses its position at the expense of consumers. Rigid market structure was characteristical for the czech electricity market from 1990 to 2001, when the "energetics act" came into force. This act caused gradual liberalization of the market entrance until nowadays situation, when consumers can freely choose their electricity provider. The aim of this thesis is based on comparison of non-price and price competition advantages of alternative and traditional electricity providers to find out, if the main electricity producer ČEZ is able to hold its dominant market share. The analysis showed that, thanks to liberalized market entrance, ČEZ has no longer so stable position on the market and that its market share e.g. on market of wholesale electricity supplies is not due to competition dominant. Its market share from the point of view of number of points of supply remains major.
Energy balance of household
BROM, Jiří
The name of my thesis shows it is focus on thoroughly evaluation of energy balance of households to analyse their consumption and on this basis to propose saving measures. Secondly there is explanation of concept of energy, its generation and transmission. Finaly the most important and challenging part is analysis of individual consumptions, sorting and processing the results. To obtain an overall picture there are tables with all the details.
Risk of electricity trading and possible methods of hedging
Garšicová, Beata ; Brůna, Karel (advisor) ; Skoupil, Lubomír (referee)
This master thesis deals with the risks of electricity trading, as well as its monitoring and hedging. The goal is the credit risk assessment of the electricity traders from bank or other financial institution perspective. The theoretical part describes the market itself including current liberalization process and the principles of electricity trading. Further there is a description of potential risks and the examples of possible hedging using derivatives. The practical part identifies the main risks of a concrete example of an electricity trader and quantifies the expected loss from the creditor perspective using the examples of two financial markets products.
