Specifics of the Financial Situation of the selected Service Industries

The purpose of this thesis is to present the financial analysis as a system of both simple and sophisticated tools used for examining the financial health and condition of selected enterprises and apply them subsequently to the selected companies in the provision of fitness and body care services. The study analyzes not only the financial health of every single company, but also, based on its findings, investigates what they have in common and what is different. Measured data are interpreted in the specific context of the selected market segment and in case of identification of significant differences, these deviations are more analyzed.

This thesis is focused on financial analysis of Red Bull Česká republika, s.r.o.. First part of the thesis covers theory of financial analysis, goals, resources and users of financial analysis. There are also techniques of financial analysis described in this part. Afterwards the company Red Bull Česká republika, s.r.o. and its activities are covered. Practical part of the thesis contains analysis of financial statements of the company from 2010 to 2014. This part is focused on horizontal and vertical analysis and also analysis of ratios from categories profitability, activity, liquidity and solvency. Closing chapter covers the summary of findings of the financial analysis.
Financial analysis of the industrial enterprise

Financial analysis is the important device of assessing the financial situation of enterprise on the basis of the financial statements for several periods. It serves for decision making for both owners and shareholders, and banks and state assemblies. After the performed financial analysis the enterprise should be able to decide about the use of free funds, about its structure of assets and about the way of the funding to the future. The theoretical part deals with the aim and the object of the financial analysis, users of the financial analysis and techniques for evaluation of the financial health of enterprise. The practical part determines financial ratios of the financial analysis, such as profitability of the enterprise or solvency, applied on the industrial enterprise. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the development of the financial situation in the selected industrial enterprise, identify the potential sources of the inefficiency and propose the measures for their elimination.
Solvency of the company and its evaluation

The aim of this bachelor work was to assess the solvency in a chosen company called LESY CHMEL Milan, Ltd located in Vysočina region. Describe the liquidity of the company in relation to corporate property and evaluate the possibility of monitoring the solvency of the company. Then to compare the profitability of the company's liquidity and assess the evolution of these indicators during 5 years. Based on the information obtained to analyze the solvency of the company and to propose appropriate measures.
Financial analysis in the services sector

The theoretical part of this work presents the financial analysis as a research instrument of the financial health and responds to questions about how, why and for whom the analysis is performed. Gradually, the most important areas of research presented - profitability, activity, solvency and liquidity - and the ratios used to measure them. Special attention is paid bankruptcy and value models. In the practical part, these instruments are applied to analyze the financial situation of the company Beck Boxing Club Praha, s.r.o.. The conclusion is marked by interpretation of the findings.
Czech insurance market in terms of implementing Solvency II methodology

My bachelor thesis deals with the current situation on the Czech insurance market in connection with the introduction of Solvency II. Solvency II will have an effect in the near future on its appearance. In the first part of my thesis I dismantled the structure of the insurance market in terms of structure and ownership of insurance companies, the risks affecting the business of insurance and the insurance market indicators, among which is one solvency (Solvency I). The second part describes the Solvency II and to compare it with the current solvency rules and Basel II. At the end of my work I have indicated the likely impact of the new methodology on the Czech insurance market.
Reporting ability of financial statements in the Czech Republic

This paper deals with the financial analysis, introduces the users and sources of accounting information and outlines the issues of regulation, standardisation and harmonisation. It informs about the basic methods of analysis and defines the ratios of profitability, liquidity, solvency, bankruptcy and creditworthiness. The example of Klein&Blažek Company is used for the practical application of the financial analysis. The earlier introduced theory is applied there and the results are evaluated. It has come out that Klein&Blažek Company has a good position at the market. It is a corporation in a stability phase of the business life cycle. This paper has rejected the hypothesis about the fall of the liquidity in this company during the last financial crisis.

The Preparation of the Solvency II Implementation on the Czech Market

This thesis is primarily focused on forthcoming regulatory concept Solvency II, which is valid for all member states of the European Union in insurance industry. In the first part of the work the term solvency is defined and actual mode of its reporting called Solvency I with its basic shortcomings are introduced. The second part describes the forthcoming new concept called Solvency II, its aims, three pillars on which it stands on and also the Lamfalussy Legislative Model according to which it is created. Then the fundamental risks endangering the insurance companies and the timetable of the Solvency II implementation are explained. The analysis of five Quantitative Impact Studies focused on impacts of the Solvency II concept makes the finish of the work.
