Practical part uses these methods and indicators. The goal of this thesis is to evaluate financial situation of the company between year 2007 to 2012 and compare it to the rival.

The explanatory power of the indicators of financial health

The aim of this work is to apply individual bankruptcy and credibility models and to undergo these results to a mutual confrontation as well as to evaluate the explanatory power and suitability of using aggregates. A brief analysis of the shortened version of the balance sheet and the profit and loss account for the financial activities from 2007 - 2011 is conducted in the case study of the thesis to zoom these. Furthermore, an analysis of the predictive model of bankruptcy and credibility is made. These become important especially at this time due to increasing number of company failures. All these analysis are applied to a particular company.

Master's thesis deals with the financial analysis of the company Residence Belgická, s.r.o. and its task is to evaluate the financial situation of the company and determine its strengths and weaknesses. The work consists of two parts, the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical part describes and explains the methods used in the practical part. The practical part deals with the presentation and analysis of the company. Work includes analysis of absolute and differential indicators - horizontal and vertical analysis of balance sheet and profit and loss, ratio analysis, including profitability ratios, activity and liquidity analysis using credible and bankruptcy models and finally compares the company with the industry as well as direct competitors regarding to achieved hotel key indicators and indicators of financial analysis.

Financial Analysis of companies in the brewing industry

Diploma thesis entitled "Financial Analysis of companies in the brewing industry" is divided into two parts. The first theoretical part deals with the actual subject of the financial analysis, followed by users of financial analysis, information sources and techniques of financial analysis. This theoretical part is followed by a empirical part, which uses the knowledge gained from the theoretical concept and applies it to a specific companies, the company Pilsner Urquell Inc., Jihlava Brewery Inc. and Brewery Nova Paka Inc. Conclusion contains an evaluation of the results and the practical suggestions and recommendations for improving the financial situation of the analyzed companies.

The explanatory power of the indicators of financial health

The thesis is focused on the selected systems of indicators of bankruptcy models and credibility models, that are applied on the specific enterprise. On the basis of collected data from balance sheet and statement of profit and loss there is calculated the financial health during five year period and than the explanatory power of these systems of indicators is made, whether the used systems of indicaters have the same explanatory power of different.

Financial analysis in the services sector

The theoretical part of this work presents the financial analysis as a research instrument of the financial health and responds to questions about how, why and for whom the analysis is performed. Gradually, the most important areas of research presented - profitability, activity, solvency and liquidity - and the ratios used to measure them. Special attention is paid bankruptcy and value models. In the practical part, these instruments are applied to analyze the financial situation of the company Beck Boxing Club Praha, s.r.o.. The conclusion is marked by interpretation of the findings.

Reporting ability of financial statements in the Czech Republic

This paper deals with the financial analysis, introduces the users and sources of accounting information and outlines the issues of regulation, standardisation and harmonisation. It informs about the basic methods of analysis and defines the ratios of profitability, liquidity, solvency, bankruptcy and creditworthiness. The example of Klein&Blažek Company is used for the practical application of the financial analysis. The earlier introduced theory is applied there and the results are evaluated. It has come out that Klein&Blažek Company has a good position at the market. It is a corporation in a stability phase of the business life cycle. This paper has rejected the hypothesis about the fall of the liquidity in this company during the last financial crisis.

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial situation of the travel agency INVIA.CZ, a. s. in period of 2007-2010 from the view of an external user. There is given basic information about the financial analysis in the theoretical part, its users and sources that are used. Further the theoretical part consists of some methods which are consequently applied in the practical part. There is information about the company and its branch at the beginning of this part. The financial situation of the company is evaluated by balance sheet rules, horizontal and vertical analysis, ratio indicators, economic value added and bankruptcy and standing models.

Financial analysis - comparison of British Airways and Air France

The aim of this thesis is a comprehensive evaluation and comparison of a financial health of the selected companies. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical part and practical part. In the theoretical section the methods and procedures of a financial analysis are described. The content of the practical section is an application of theoretical knowledge on the selected companies British Airways Plc and Air France - KLM Group using publicly available audited consolidated financial statements of the companies for the period April 2008/March 2009 and April 2009/March 2010. At the beginning the analyzed companies are presented. The rest of the practical part is devoted to specific calculations of the profitability, liquidity, activity and costs. Part is also given to creditworthy and bankruptcy models that indicate more about the financial health of the companies. The conclusion of this thesis is a summary of key points of the practical part and evaluation and comparison of the financial health of the two selected companies.
