The heart of this work is a critical analysis of the impact of advertising on places which basically belong to everyone and are necessary to be protected against any damage. The introduction contains the world and Czechoslovak history of advertising and promotion recording the most important historical events that had formed the character of modern consumer influencing to buy the advertised product . The following part of the text deals with the attributes of the current advertising, its ways of acquiring customers and potential consequences of disruption of the public space, in which it penetrates more and more. The further attention is given to problems rising at the country and city level. The presented problems are mainly ecological, aesthetical, safety and social. As a summary, the work draws attention to the risks possibly associated with living space overfilled by advertising and defines basic options to solve the situation.

The bachelor thesis deals with the issue of advertising in public space. As it is a today's phenomen, it spreads very fast and it's out of control. The theoretical part focuses on the definition of important concepts, includes a typology of advertising media and public space, outlining the background and defines the scope of the joint advertising and public space. This essay also includes a summary of the main negative aspects of advertising in public space and its possible benefits. In connection with the problem, there is also mentioned the current legislation that deals with this topic even if only marginally. And at last, but not least, there are outlined the possible trends. The task of the practical part is the analysis and evaluation of several examples of the use of advertising media in public space, using the methodics and garden architectural design of public space. The location of the project is a problematic Sportovní street in Brno. The results lead to a clear conclusion that advertising in various degrees degrades specific public space and deprives it of many essential functions, including the residential function.

This bachelor thesis is about possibilites of revitalisation and recultivation for urban spaces of country seats with local orientation on Moravskokrumovsko region. It is segmented into two parts: theoretic part is generally devoted to historic development of urban structure of country seats, it is specialized in history of settlement of this region, its contemporary situation too, its problems and possible solutions. In practical part are -- based on objective criterions of chosen metodology -- researched four chosen concrete seats (villages Bohutice, Rakšice, Rokytná, Vedrovice) and for chosen locality within one of them was created project for soulution.

The diploma thesis deals with the topic of creation and completion urban public space within the housing estate Plzeň-Vinice, built at the end of the Communist era. Main part of thesis deals with the architectural design of selected particular spaces, which shoud represent various kind of space within the housing complex. There was essential to analyze current conditions in order to reach the proper design. The diploma thesis contains literature review as well. This part aims to introduce to issue public space of the housing estate, its hierarchy and vegetative component. The author place importance on the psychological and sociological aspects of the topic. Due to several reasons the estate Plzeň-Vinice is unique - it is only part of the originally intended project, specific by its unusual review of the typical urban layout and characterized by "semi-block" arrangement of particular houses, reffering to the traditional urban structure. The main issue is the lack of identity of the whole housing complex. The main goal of the design therefore should be the creation of the positive image. The project deals with several types of space within the centre and residential zones. Design of each part corresponds to hierarchical level within the general system of public spaces. The central space is designed generously in order to act as a true focal point of the area. The project contains also rainwater treatment system, which shoud have a positive impact in terms od both the environmental aspect and the positive image of the housing complex like a "green city".

This master thesis deals with the creation of chosen urban spaces with a specific example showing a model object square in the town Tišnov. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The content specifically reviews the theme of urban spaces within the town. The thesis deals first with basic terms, followed by historical development of the town with an input focus on the public spaces, contemporary issues, trends, and reviews in urban space solutions. Finally, the literature critically evaluates the chosen examples of completing central urban spaces of the small cities. The chosen squares in the Czech Republic and abroad were the inspiration for my design for the practical part, there the basis is determined, and the last chapter reviews the approach for the architectural study. The practical part of the master thesis contains a complete analysis, including broader relations of the subject. The problematic drawings and design concept was based on the research and analysis. The area of the model object takes part in central Tišnov, and the architectural study deals with the area complexly in parts. The area is divided into 5 parts for better understanding - 28th October Square,street toward the Square od Peace, Square of Peace, Komensky's Square, and the area near The St. Wenceslav Square. The aim of the study was to create a pleasant, safe, and high quality designed living area for its inhabitants and visitors.

Diploma Project - Garden for Disabled deals with creating spaces for people with disabilities from the perspective of landscape architecture . The work is divided into three main parts: Review of Literature ,Examples of Gardens for People with Disabilities in the country and abroad and Designing Part. The first part describes in detail the issue of disability in relation to landscape architecture . First, the topic of people with disabilities is described. This section is an introduction to the world of disabilities , touching on various topics related to disabilities such as law , spatial parameters for disabled or Universal Design. The next section is devoted to the theme Garden and disabled. It describes where and how landscape architekt can apply creating for the disabled. The third part is a detailed description of all the basic types of disability. For each disability is developed characteristics important for understanding the limits and possibilities in the works for the disabled. Furthermore, there are principles for the creation of public spaces and the gardens for the disabled. Examples of Gardens for People with Disabilities in the country and abroad is the part that shows examples of formation for the disabled. There are 3 examples of projects and their implementation: three in the Czech Republic and two from the USA . The representative examples on different topics have been selected. The design part is divided into two parts: Garden of Home for people with disabilities Kvasice : Characteristics and Garden of Home for people with disabilities Kvasice : Study. In the Garden of Home for people with disabilities Kvasice: Characteristics, the features of model object are described in terms of conditions in the area and also in terms of clients DZP Kvasice . In the Garden of Home for people with disabilities Kvasice : The Study, the project of Garden DZP Kvasice is based on facts gathered in the Literature Review and the characteristics of the model object. The proposal seeks to create additional living space for clients DZP Kvasice and provide them with leisure.

Diplomní projekt - Nábřeží Vltavy v historickém centru Prahy z pohledu krajinářského architekta

The main goal of the diploma thesis was review of Prague riverfront situation, its adjustment possibilities and the priorities that should be respected in case of the adaptation of this area by the landsape architect. These general proposition have been verified on a specific project. Author has chosen a model area at the left bank of river Vltava, which is currently in many aspects dysfunctional or visually problematic, although it belongs to the legacy of national importance. The center of area is defined by the square Klárov which is inappropriately isolated from the Prague unique phenomenon, Vltava river. Its significance was described many times and requires interdisciplinar acces with respect for characteriistics of wider area. Chapter, which deals with analyzes a design has been processed into the well-arranged blocks of diagrams, drafts, cross sections and visualizations. Architectural design aspires to the contemporary expression of historical facts in the form of artistic elements and threds (see stylisation of the stream Brusnice or application of the terraced Italian gardens principles) as well as to the user orientated access in the particular areas and the district of the Lesser Town.

Metamorphoses of public space. Mechanisms of transformations of Lesser Town Square in Prague.

The bachelor thesis deals with the transformations of Lesser Town Square in Prague between the fiftheenth and the second half of eighteenth century. The methodical framework provides the grant project Faces of the Community: Images, symbols and performances in the late medieval and early modern towns (1400-1700), which analyses the formation of the urban public space through visual media, that constitute one possible way of representation of individuals, families and various groups. The author seeks to answer the question which identities intervened to the public space of the square, which targets the had and which visual aids used to achieved them.

The Bachelor's Thesis named "The Project of Furniture of City Park" brings a detailed look at a public space, specifically a city park, at its uses and facilities. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part specifies the problems of public grounds, it offers an analysis of basic elements of city park and charting of city furniture based on its origins and function. There are ergonomic requirements, material's structure and structural solution. Furthermore there are examples of interesting implementations focusing on seating for more people which came into being for a public space. The practical part of the thesis brings an analysis of the chosen site, there are solutions to the proposal, particular variants and a final solution.
