Summary of Micro Unmanned Aerial Vehicle
Krejčí, Jan ; Horák, Marek (referee) ; Dofek, Ivan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with summary of miniature unmanned aerial vehicles. There is a reference to their historical development, the categorization of unmanned aerial vehicles and definition of category MAV. The thesis contains overview of some chosen representative members of category MAV and their parameters and picture documentation. The last part of this thesis deals with possible applications and basic information about artificial intelligence used for controlling these aerial vehicles.
Controller design with using CARLA method
Jasanský, Michal ; Houška, Pavel (referee) ; Březina, Tomáš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the application repeatedly reinforcement learning method named „Continuous Action Reinforcement Learning Automata“ (CARLA). There is recapitulated a basic describe of the artificial intelligence method, however it deals mainly with the CARLA method. In the thesis are described the advantages, disadvantages and the type of mathematical basis for simplified version of the CARLA method. The main part of the thesis is concerned with the method testing and debugging. The influence of the setting the parameters is also demonstrated in the thesis. The method is successfully applied on two systems: DC motor and physical pendulum.
Knowledge Systems on the Semantic Web
Pinďák, Josef ; Zamazal, Ondřej (advisor) ; Svátek, Vojtěch (referee)
The aim of this paper is to understand problematic of knowledge systems on semantic web. Analyze case studies a cases of usage shown on web portal W3C and create knowledge basis for expert system NEST, which on basis of analysis of case study of case usage will recommend clasification to particular type of knowledge system. The aim is achieved by analysis of case studies and case usages. The result of analysis is to set criteria to case study or case usage. On base of criteria, which are passed to expert system. Expert system will recommend clasification of case study or case usage. Knowledge basis also used for its developement data from dissertation [1], where are knowledge basis already separated into individual categories. Benefit of this work is creation of expert system, which allows user to get recommendation how to determinate type of unknown knowledge system and its field of potentional usage. First two chapters are dedicated to theory of knowledge systems and semantic web. Third chapter explains the steps to usage of analysis and fourth chapter is dedicated to creation of knowledge basis for system NEST.
Intelligent Personal Assistants: Present state and potential risks
Smysl, Tomáš ; Sigmund, Tomáš (advisor) ; Kunca, Tomáš (referee)
This bachelor thesis aims to describe what is meant by term Intelligent Personal Assistant and what are the capabilities of this technology nowadays. The technology is being presented in the context of following topics: Internet and the Artificial Intelligence. These topics are commonly associated with few problems and risks. The problems connected with Internet and Artificial Intelligence might be inherited by the technology of Intelligent Personal Assistants (IPA) and because of other aspects of the technology, the risk of outcomes that may be potentialy harmful can be even higher with IPA than originaly. This thesis aims to define problems connected with privacy and addiction. It describes risks that arise from delegating mans work to a machine and potential danger of giving a machine personality traits. Eventually, the thesis suggests a possible solution.
Emotions and artificial intelligence
Hančar, Michal ; Sedláček, Lukáš (advisor) ; Pstružina, Karel (referee)
This thesis is focused on emotions in biological organisms and its use in subject field of artificial intelligence. First chapter describes emergence of emotion in single organism and its relation to motivation and other cognitive abilities such as learning, memory. Second chapter provides description of currently existing artificial systems working with emotions and compares effectiveness of such systems with humans. Last chapter is focused on creating theoretical basis for system that is able to analyze and influence emotional states in its operators. The objective of this thesis is a disquisition on utilization of emotions in artificial systems.
Relationship between man and machine
Smirnov, Artem ; Sigmund, Tomáš (advisor) ; Toman, Prokop (referee)
The area of interest of this thesis is the relationship between man and machine. The subject of the work is the clear explanation of the unique features of human intelligence and especially of specific characteristics of the mind, the inability of machines to think in a full sense of the word, the causes of mistaken assumptions of artificial intelligence and general principles of connection between humans and computers. The purpose and goal is to show that the future possibility of computers to prevail over people and completely replace the human role in the information system is not so likely as it may seem at the first sight. The thesis describes the general principles of human-computer connection with regard to their capabilities and limitations. Also thesis contains an analysis of selected application for assessing the appropriateness of the allocation of functions between the program and the man in the opinion of the author.
Human and artificial intelligence in IS
Esterka, Jakub ; Sigmund, Tomáš (advisor) ; Toman, Prokop (referee)
This thesis is focused on intelligence in information systems. The goal is to offer readers a comprehensive view on both human and artificial intelligence and explain their role in enterprise information systems. The first chapter deals with human intelligence. The reader is made familiar with the development of theory of intelligence, with its limitations, and also with this work's definition of intelligence. That is also used in the second chapter, which details the artificial intelligence. In the next chapter, work will focus on enterprise information systems. In the final chapter, the thesis puts human and artificial intelligence in the context of information systems and both forms of intelligence are compared using pre-selected factors.
Machine mimicking of human with chatterbot example
Sedloň, Kryštof ; Sigmund, Tomáš (advisor) ; Toman, Prokop (referee)
This thesis deals with the ability of machines to imitate human behavior. The subject of the work is to compare human and machine information processing and define its relationship with data and knowledge. Put into contrast human and artificial intelligence with views of Turing, Dreyfus and Searle. Compare internet chatterbots representing modern artificial intelligence and illustrate the possibilities and shortcomings of contemporary artificial intelligence.
Electronic financial reporting
Kapusta, Michal ; Mejzlík, Ladislav (advisor) ; Pelák, Jiří (referee)
This thesis explores current and future possible uses of ICT in financial reporting, describes the properties, usage and implementation of EDI and XBRL, describes the concept of online reporting and continuous auditing, introduces the area of artificial intelligence and expert systems and their application in accounting and auditing, describes development and application of FRAANK for extraction of financial data from EDGAR repository, describes the implementation of continuous auditing in Siemens and finally states the possible reasons, why the technologies are not used to their full potential.
Klasifikace odrůd hrachu setého pomocí neuronových sítí
Dobešová, Anna
This thesis is focused on classification of pea varieties by means neural networks procedure. Variety testing is an applied branch, which is strictly legally regulated. New methods and techniques are only slowly implemented. One option for an improving of the process of granting plant variety rights is to perform an image analysis of tested plants morphometric features. In the thesis, own solution for the classification of shape characteristics of pea by neural networks is designed and implemented. The analysis is focused on standards of pea. Achieved results are globally unique, because there is no other known application for classification of shape characteristics of plants by image analysis during variety registration. An advantage of the solution is fully automated process of analysis, which is realized in MATLAB computing environment. The neural network was trained by data from fields trials provided by National Plant Variety Office of Central Institute for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture. The solution will be adopted within practical testing procedures.
