Static analysis of steel footbridge

The subject of the bachelor thesis is static analysis of a steel footbridge. Two different models of this structure are created in RFEM 5.16 software. The first model consists only of the upper part of the structure, the second model includes also the bottom part – columns. The load is calculated manually and applied on both models in the same way. RFEM software was also used for performing the calculation. The results from models are compared between each other and ultimate limit state assessment is carried out.

The diploma thesis is focused on the comparison of the linear and nonlinear analysis of the steel structure and the resulting differences in both the numerical results and the time needed to obtain these results These analyzes are performed on a high-rise building, which has 10 floors and is used as an administrative building. Static model construction and calculations are performed in software system from Dlubal RFEM only loads for individual load cases are calculated manually.
Reinforced concrete structure of administrative building

My bachelor thesis focuses on the design of selected parts of monolithic reinforced concrete structures of an administrative building. It is about a locally supported ceiling slab, an inner column and a staircase. Calculation of the internal forces was performed in the SCIA Engineer program and then verified by a hand method. The construction is assessed according to ČSN EN 1992 - 1 - 1.
Hall for Metal Production with Administrative Building

This diploma thesis deals with the design of a metalworking shed with its adjacent administrative center. Both objects are statically independent. The buildings are located in the town of Bučovice. The dimensions of the shed are 54,78x72,58 m. There is an overhead crane situated in the middle wing. The shed‘s height is +11,62 m. The administrative building has L-shaped plan. Its dimensions are 27,62x8,13 m (the wider part is 15,63 m). The design of the administrative object has two variants. Both variants have composite steel-concrete ceiling structure. The heights of the objects are +11,20 m (A variant) and +18,20 m (B variant). For the A variant, drawings were also drawn up with the design and assessment of structural details and anchoring.

There are the types of load tests, load test selected general construction, load tests during the reconstruction works and load test after reconstruction works.
Tennis Hall in Bystřice pod Hostýnem

The bachelor thesis is focused on a proposal and a review of load-carrying steel structure of the tennis hall for 3 tennis courts. The construction is located in Bystřice pod Hostýnem. The hall contains 11 main frames spaced by 5.8 m. It is a building of a rectangular plan with a groud plan dimensions of 38.0 x 58.0 m. The main support system includes cylindrical lattice truss, purlins, longitudinal and transverse bracing which secure the spatial rigidity of the construction. For analysis was used the programme Scia Engineer.
Static analysis of wooden structure

The thesis is focused on a static analysis of the timber frame structure. The designed structure has an atypical shape, where each frame has a different shape from previous one. The calculation and assessment is processed by SCIA Engineer program and subsequently verified by a simple hand calculation. The model is constructed according to the real shape of the structure and assessed for the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state.
Roof over Railway Station

The thesis deals with the design and assessment of the steel structure of the roof of the train station. This structure is located in Brno. The plan shape of the structure is rectangular. In the transverse direction, the structure is designed as an arch of 150 m length and the distance of transverse ties is 20 m. At the highest point, the rise of the arch is 30 m. In the longitudinal direction, the structure is 200 m long. In this paper, three variants of the structure are compared.
Sports Building in Olomouc

Work deals with design of the steel structure of the sports hall in the Brno region . The hall has a rectangular shape with dimensions of 42 x 24 m and a height 11 m. transverse bond makes a cylindrical truss with a span of 24 m placed on columns height of 8 m. Purlins with span of 6 m are placed on the trusses. Roofing and curtain wall is made of sandwich panels.
Business centre

The subject of this thesis is the design and assessment of steel construction of the shopping center in Chrudim in Pardubice region. Business center was designed as a three-aisled with a common space in the middle. Each hall has a platform 48.0 meters x 63.0 meters, shared space is a ground plan the shape of an equilateral triangle with sides of 48.0 meters. The construction of halls in the transverse direction comprises three trusses. The two beams are to span 20.0 meters and a span of one to 8.0 meters. Clearance height ranges from 8.0 to 10.0 m. The main structure is made of rectangular hollow sections, tubes of circular profiles and will be awarded. The axial distance trusses is 7.0 meters.
