The work focuses on the design input circuits for active speaker system. There is described the theory design input circuits such as attenuator pads, low pass filter, preamplifier, Baxandall tone control and S / PDIF. Based on the theory described are selected optimal designs and their subsequent draft. Complex design of the input circuit for loudspeaker system is designed to achieve a low acoustic distortion sound.
Design of switching class audio power amplifier
Bronec, David ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is dealing with the issues of the switched category output amplifiers and its aim is to design and to construct a stereo amplifier with the energy output about 100W. The amplifier is constructed in the switched category D. The design of the corrective preamplifier with the correction of depths, heights and the balance functions is also described. Furthermore, this thesis deals with the description of the switched power supply with the TOPswitch control circuit. The design is also supplemented by the simulations and the printed circuits of each part. There are also some photographs of the device and the measurement protocol is included too.
Class D audio power amplifier for bass guitar
Appel, Daniel ; Petržela, Jiří (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
The main goal of this project was a synthesis of audio power amplifier and preamplifier for bass guitar with features suitable for this kind of instrument. The project was divided into 6 parts. The first part is a brief introduction to classes of power amplifiers, the second part is about function of blocks of which the class d audio power amplifier consist. In the third part the designed circuits and their properties are discussed. The simulation of circuits in PSICE are also included in this part. The design of power supply unit is discussed in fourth part. In the fifth there is design of chassis and other mechanical constructions. In the sixth part, there are results of experimental measurements of the amplifier prototype. In the appendix of this bachelor thesis are enclosed the schematics, printed circuit board designs, and photographic documentation of amplifier prototype.
Mixing audio console with microphone preamplifier
Mecerod, Václav ; Šotner, Roman (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis on the theme "Mixing audio console with microphone preamplifier" deals with the design of an audio device for mixing signals from different sources. After a short theoretical introduction to issues mixing audio consoles, block diagram and circuit diagrams of each part are designed. These are redrawn into OrCAD Capture and using software PSpice simulations are performed. Configuration of the proposed mixing audio console is as follows: Two microphone preamplifiers with true differential inputs with switchable sensitivity, with the quad-band equalizer with tunable mid bands and adjustable delay. One line level input and one instrument input with three bands corrector. The output section consists of headphone and line level out.
Audio power amplifier 2 x 500 W
Petrgál, Filip ; Brančík, Lubomír (referee) ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with low frequency power amplifier, distribution, and involvement of important parameters. Furthermore, the second deals with the preamplifiers, power supplies, amplifier circuits protections and other additional modules. Elaboration includes simulated proposals to address preamp, power amplifier output stage as well as protection circuitin PSpice program. Proposes that these modules is shown in the detailed diagramdescribing the components.
Design of switching stereo audio power amplifier
Christen, Jiří ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
This work deals with complete design of switch - mode audio power amplifier. The first part of the work describes basic principles of power amplifier operating in switch mode and differences between classes. Specific parts of the amplifier are analysed according to function and construction. The second part includes particular design and construction of the class D switching amplifier with a minimal output power 2x80W. The power stage is realized by an integrated circuit TAS5630 from Texas Instruments. Basic states of the power stage are signalized by LED diodes. The design includes correction preamplifier for adjusting volume and frequency response. The appliance is supplied from switch - mode power supply. Basic parametres were measured for individual parts.
Tube microphone preamplifier
Čacký, Adam ; Hruboš, Zdeněk (referee) ; Brančík, Lubomír (advisor)
The theme of the master´s thesis is design a microphone preamplifier which uses vacuum tube as a main amplifying element. Part of the work is theoretical assumptions for the optimal design and implementation of peripheral involvement, comparing the properties of components used and the resulting parameters of modeled device. The thesis also includes a proposal of the source unit for supplying all parts of the preamplifier. The results are accompanied by circuit simulations and laboratory measurements of the main parameters of the designed device.
SPM Methods Based On The Quartz Resonator Probes
Wertheimer, Pavel ; Sobotík, Pavel (referee) ; Číp, Ondřej (referee) ; Šikola, Tomáš (advisor)
The thesis is focused on development of scanning probe microscope systems, especially development and implementation of quartz resonator probes. The quartz resonator probes, compared to the standard silicon cantilevers, have several advantages. It is in particular their mechanical properties and possibility of direct electrical readout of the deflection signal. Due to the fact, the probes are easy to implement even into more complex SPM systems. The thesis deals with development of universal and open SPM control system electronics. The electronics consist of the commercial SPM control and oscillation units, the development of the other electronic parts (such as the high voltage amplifier and the preamplifier units) is described in the thesis. Further, the thesis reports on development of the qPlus UHV LT SPM microscope system that was carried out at Universität Hamburg. Part of it was development of the qPlus preamplifier able to operate at liquid helium temperature. The third topic of the thesis is the implementation of qPlus technology into the UHV VT SPM microscope suitable to operate in situ with a scanning electron microscope. The qPlus sensors and the universal UHV preamplifier were designed and manufactured. Test measurements were conducted on all of the developed systems.
