Magnetoreception of mammals focused on domestic beasts of prey
Klemsová, Nikola ; Hart, Vlastimil (advisor) ; Svoboda, Jan (referee)
This work concerns to magneto-reception of mammals focused on domestic beasts of prey. A measurement was directed to three dogs and three cats with different races and places. At first they were observed in Klášterec nad Ohřís pound. This measurement seemed to be verifiable later, thats why the positional behaving (magnetic alignment) were observed in their inherent living conditions, especially in the garden or hutch.
Data was taken by photo-catch machine localized over their bowls, where there were observed their single orientation of body and head direction to water bowls. The account was also taken of daily temperature, sun position to that individual in direction of bowl to kennel, of measuring location and state of health.
During the measuring term 380 pictures has been evaluated. From these findings statistical preferred direction orientation during the drinking from water bowl were find out and also the preference of north-south line. The results of pictures also represents, that magnetic orientation does not depend on the animal species, as it was expected, bud on every individual.

Analysis of Indicator Changes at the Adast Systems, a.s. Company Using Time Series
Všianský, Martin ; Trunečková, Dana (referee) ; Kropáč, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis analyzes economic indicators in Adast Systems Inc. using time series. Purpose of the thesis is to aplicate statistical methods for use in evaluating economic indicators in mentioned company during last ten years. Thesis is composed of two parts. In theoretical part we circumscribe basic concepts and formulas necessary to calculate regression functions of time series. In practical part we apply theoretical data to concrete data taken from annual company statements. Using time series analysis we are also able to predict future development of company´s economic indicators, which will serve us in adducing our own evaluation of company and in proposing of changes in corporate strategy. Utilisation of this prediction may be useful for corporate strategy.

Application for Alignment of DNA Parts
Kašpárek, Tomáš ; Žák, Jakub (referee) ; Rozman, Jaroslav (advisor)
This thesis deals with DNA sequences alignment methods with focus on execution speed of given task and its optimality. The outcome of this thesis results in multiple programs, which presents DNA alignment algorithms and their versions programmed with OpenCL libraries, which are optimized on calculation rate. Text of this thesis apprises reader with DNA alignment problematic and its importance in biology. Further, algorithms for DNA alignment and options of their speed-up using libraries like CUDA or OpenCL are presented.
