Photochemical degradation of dissolved organic matter - the kinetics of insoluble particles
ŠAVRDOVÁ, Tereza
This bachelor thesis deals with the kinetics of the formation of insoluble substances. In the theoretical part we will deal with photochemistry, kinetics and organic substances. What forms of aluminum and iron can be found in aquatic environments with different pH values. In the experimental part we will examine the kinetics of the formation of insoluble particles in water after photochemical irradiation. We will find out how it changes the concentration of aluminum, iron and carbon according to the length of irradiation and how pH can affect the final result.
Comparison of Two Technology with Al-pressure-cast
Daniel, Jakub ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
The project elaborated design of two manufacturing technologies for component called counterpart of ball from alluminum alloy. Based on the literature study and consultation with the company CNC program was made for machining technology. For pressure casting the part was modified according to the technological requirements. Comparing these technologies showed preferable method of manufacturing for mass production.
Welding of the framework from aluminium alloys
Rašek, Ondřej ; Daněk, Ladislav (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
For TIG welding of transformer fame is important enough weld root fusion, however exposed surfaces must remain unaffected. Three types of test were made to determine properties of welds under different conditions. Tests were macroscopic inspection, tensile test and fracture test. Next was economic evaluation of different methods. Best results were for single layer weld with pre-heated material.
Modification of Aluminium Cooler Holder
Malovaný, Daniel ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to overview the basic design solutions of full aluminum radiators. By finite element method to check the first generation of full aluminum low temperature radiator bracket and based on this calculation to modify the design to reduce tension in the critical areas. At the end of this thesis to evaluate the new design.
Materials for the construction of frames of gravity bicycles
Hrubý, Erik ; Ročňáková, Ivana (referee) ; Juliš, Martin (advisor)
The presented bachelor thesis in it first part is focuses to the application of special racing bikes. The less known gravity disciplines with an explanation of their nature, the type of track and rules are presented. The second part of thesis deals with the structural design and fitting of mountain bikes used in each presented gravity disciplines. In the last part of thesis is a list of structural materials from which are manufactured special bike frames focusing on their mechanical properties, advantages and disadvantages and other usage.
Design of an effusion cell for the deposition of Al ultrathin layers
Řihák, Radek ; Voborný, Stanislav (referee) ; Mach, Jindřich (advisor)
This Bachelor's thesis deals with design and construction of the effusion cell for deposition ultrathin layers of aluminum in ultrahigh vacuum conditions. Two types of effusion were designed. Differences are only in type of heating. The first one exploit energy of accelerated electrons and the second one exploit thermal radiation. Anothe parts of cells are fully interchangeable.
Manufacture of aluminium alloy castings
Moravec, Lukáš ; Lána, Ivo (referee) ; Záděra, Antonín (advisor)
This thesis deals with the production of castings of aluminum alloys with a focus on a comparison of the melting process in the gas, crucible, tilting furnaces with melting in gas, shaft furnaces. Resolves proposal links the advantages of both types of melting furnaces into a single unit. The work includes economic evaluation of cost and projected savings in the operation of the new kiln unit.
Structual welding of aluminium alloy
Blahák, Petr ; Hála, Michal (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
The project elaborated in frame of engineering studies branch 2303R002 presents a project that contains welding a structure made of aluminium alloy. There were two usable methods selected, based on literal study of welding aluminium alloys, TIG welding and friction welding, and these were compared with alternative methods of joining, hard soldering and bonding. A work procedure was made for TIG method, soldering and bonding and four experimental joins were made thereafter. Project compares these methods mainly in economical way, also in way of technological difficulties and in way of observance the strength of base materials. Project also deals with problems with lowering strength of base material in heat affected area, burn out of thin material, tendency of aluminium to fill with hydrogen, quick oxidation and consequent hard surface layer emerging on the aluminium.
Analysis of friction welding by SFW process
Šajkovics, Patrik ; Mrňa, Libor (referee) ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (advisor)
Bachelor thesis developed in the bachelor study focuses on the analysis of friction welding by SFW process. The work is focused on a detailed description of the principle of technology SFW and its other modification. It describes the microstructure of the welds and it depends on the mechanical properties. Were summarized advantages and disadvantages, industries which the SFW used, suitable materials for welding and material of welding tools. SFW technology is focused on non-ferrous metals and their alloys, but the conclusion is also mentioned steel welding technology SFW and material of tools are suitable.
The use of aluminium parts in construction of ingeneering constructions
Suk, Pavel ; Střítecký, František (referee) ; Roučka, Jaromír (advisor)
Study describes is dealing with the application of the aluminum extrusions for industrial purposes. The introduction is dealing with the industrial applications in general terms. It includes the chemical and physical properties of aluminum. It is followed by description of various aluminum alloys, their properties such as suitability for machining, welding, plasticity and resistance to corrosion. Next chapter is listing aluminum applications, namely as a building components in civil engineering such as various extrusions and a modular components. At the closing of this paper there is an example of an actual application of aluminum prefabricated conveyer segments. The conveyor is part of an assembly line for K350 units.
