Evaluation of feed rations and their effect for milk production
ROUBÍČKOVÁ, Jana
Feed rations and their influence on milk yield were assessed for the years 2010 and 2011 in working conditions on the school farm Měšice. This was mainly comparison of the basic nutrients feed rations with a recommendation. Furthermore, feeding technology, quality of silage, composition of feed rations and content of milk components were evaluated. Selected economic indicators of dairy cows were evaluated in the monitored enterprise. The results indicate that the feed rations give a good presumption for high milk yield of dairy cows. However, quality of roughages, primarily corn silage should be improved.
Disorders of mineral metabolism in cattle
KADLECOVÁ, Lenka
My Bachelor thesis is divided into the theoretical and practical part. The goal of the theoretical part is to elaborate the bibliography dealing with significant production diseases of cattle with emphasis on the disorders of the metabolism of mineral substances especially of calcium, phosphorus and magnesium. The bibliography contains a description of the symptoms, therapies and the prevention of particular diseases. The practical part of my Bachelor thesis includes two areas of findings. The first part focuses on the intake of the minerals substances in question contained in food and mineral supplements in dairy cows on the farm Horní Staňkov. The second part follows the contents of mineral substances and alkaline phosphatase in the blood plasma and urine of dairy cows. Based on the examination of blood plasma and urine an overview of the level of saturation with macroelements in dairy cows was made.
ANALYSIS OF MILK PRODUCTION AND FERTILITY OF THE HERD OF CZECH PIED CATTLE
PATÁK, Martin
It is an essential condition of economic production in livestock farming to ensure an adequate level of milk yield and reproduction in dairy cattle herds. Therefore, it is the interest of all dairy farmers in conventional agriculture to have a herd capable of high yield which would be mainly profitable. The aim of this thesis was to evaluate selected indicators of milk yield and fertility rates of the Czech Pied cattle in the agricultural society Dublovice JSC. The observation included 430 cows that finished lactation in the control year 2010/2011. The cows were divided according to the sequence of lactation into groups 1, 2, 3, 4 and other lactations. Furthermore, they were divided according to genotypes (C100, C1, and C2) and their fathers. By the groups sorted by the sequence of lactation there was found a statistically significant difference in milk yield between 1st and 4th, 2nd and 4th, 3rd and 4th and other lactations on the importance level P<0,001. The highest average yield reached the cows with the genotype C100 of 4 and other lactations (8 371 kg). However, the significant effect of genotype on the productivity by the cows according to the sequence of lactation was not confirmed. The highest average yield (8 277 kg) was reached by the daughters of the bull REZ 376 (C59R) and the statistically significant difference on the level of importance P<0,05 was proved. By the service period was significant only the influence of fathers. By the meantime and the first calving age were the differences between groups of no statistic importance. The most common reason for cow elimination was disease of mammary gland (25.9% of the total number of eliminated cows) and postpartum difficulties (20%). By the cows in the observed herd was found a higher milk yield (7 423 kg) in comparison to the average yield of the Czech Pied cattle in the Czech Republic (6 548 kg). Service period, meantime and the first calving correspond to the farming aim of the Czech Pied cattle.
The concept evaluation of nutrition in the agriculture enterprise
HAVELKOVÁ, Jana
This thesis deals with the level of nutrition of dairy cows based on assessing the need for nutrients and energy in relation to the milk yield. Under operating conditions the system of nutrition and feeding is evaluated and also analysis of selected economic indicators of milk production has been conducted. The monitored indicators of nutritional and energy values are within permitted tolerance limit of recommended values.
INFLUENCE BEHAVIOR GRAZING ON DAIRY CATTLE
HŮRSKÁ, Miriam
The work was based on my own watching and the aim of this work was to determine basic vital signs of dairy cows breed in grazing system in the submontane area of South Bohemia. Herd of breeding cows, consisting of the Holstein breed, the Jersey breed and the Czech Pied Cattle crossbred with the Jersey, in quantity of 53 heads. During the year 2010 there were six behavioral watchings namely from June to October. Each watching lasted 24 hours and there was used the method of watching in the group with the time interval of 10 minutes. Cattle vital signs were watched: feed intake-grazing, lying down-resting, standing and movement.
The concept evaluation of dairy cattle nutrition
ROUBÍČKOVÁ, Jana
Bachelor thesis gives a comprehensive overview of the dairy cow nutrition and assesses the system of nutrition and feeding in relation to milk production. The main part is devoted to the basics of dairy cow nutrition, the main nutrient requirements and composition of feed diets. There was assessed composition of feed rations for the year 2010 in working conditions on the School farm Měšice. The recommendations were designed to improve the nutrition level on the farm on the based data.
Potential utilization automatic weighing cattle to evaluation health and nutritious condition of herd.
SMUTNÁ, Šárka
The aim of this thesis was based on data from an automated system for weighing a live weight of dairy cows to develop a methodology for evaluating health and nutritional status of the herd. To obtain weight data of individual cows was used in the weighing unit for milking robots Astronaut A3 from Lely. 21 cows with the longest period of lactation or drying off cows and especially dairy cows with various health problems were selected.
Influence of different factors for economic parameters of milk production
KLEINOVÁ, Anna
Evaluation of factors, which affect the selected economic indicators of milk production in specific farm, during two years, 2007 and 2008, was the aim of the work. The composition of dietary and its optimalization and feeding technology in stable were evaluated. The contents of basic elements, which affected the realization in every month, were set from the milk production on the basis of analyses. Indicators of reproduction are mentioned then. Evaluation of chosen operational economic indicators of milk production was based on dates about costs and revenues in selected stable. Mixed feeding ration is loaded twice a day and it is compiled in advisory way according to the laboratory analysis results of feed. It was balanced with a moderate abundance of nitrogen substances and solids in production cows and with a deficit of solids in feeding ration of very pregnant non-lactating cows in both years (about 9 %). The fat and protein contents were relatively fixed, with a decline in summer months. The limit for somatic cells was exceeded once (by 3 %) and so the TVC (by 36%) in 2008. Reproduction indicators showed annual improvement with the exception of the intervening period length. There came to reduction in number of coves on the 3rd and later lactations and to decrease of their longevity thus. Their own and purchased feed took share in costs mostly (33,3% in total). In 2007 the loss per litter of sold milk arose but the income moved to positive values after including all revenues. In 2008 a profit per litter of sold mild was reached the milk production reached 3,64% and the total income increased.
Effects of the use of separated bovine manure as organic plastic litter on the state of health, reproductive performance and quality of milk cows and kept stable microclimate.
KOZLOVÁ, Pavlína
The observation was performed in brick buildings for dairy cows breeding. The stabling was created as lose boxes with litter (made from separated slurry) and with grid dung-passage.The aim of the work was assessed evaluation the availability of separated slurry used as a plastic litter from the animal hygiene points of view health, reproduction and milk quality in cosws, and microclimatic parameters of stabling. During experiment was ascertained, that not founded negative impact at the animals health.
Detectionand assessment of noise loading during milking at milking shed.
KŮRKA, Jan
The work deals with the measurement of noise exposure on milking Alfa Laval revoling HBR, Agromilk Pelhřimov dovetail - trigon and milking robot Lely Astronaut A3. When measuring , it was found that the best in terms of noise level measurements published in milking robots with the runing of the feed wagon and measuring worst inside the cell with the milking robots.
