This thesis "Anything is thing enough to party" seeks to explore the knowledge base of Jane Bennett's vital materialism and analyzes the connections between advanced capitalism, mobility and unpredictable movement of goods and things from the perspective of object oriented ontology. The thesis also focuses on the new perspective of ready-made object and perspective of installation. In order to research the topic and implement the practical part of the project, this study took place in Mexico as a self-initiated art residency in order to explore flows of found objects under the gaze of a foreigner.
Development of Automated Trading System for Commodity Markets

This diploma thesis deals with theoretical and practical aspects of the commodity mar-ket. The automated trading system is designed and described there, which is focused on oil trades. The theoretical background as technical analysis, technical indicators descrip-tion or money management in trading, are described. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the analysis of oil market and the proposition of several strategies. These strategies are implemented subsequently to MQL4 language and tested on historical data.
The use of Artificial Intelligence for Exchange with Metal to Support Decision-making of Firm

This master thesis deals with issues connected with using artificial intelligence in metal exchange. It describes theoretical bases of financial markets, various methods of analyses and artificial intelligence. Main accent is put on creating functional models in Matlab program which will predicate incoming values of time series. Part of the thesis is description of company, for which are those models of neural networks for supporting decision making created.
The Use of Artificial Intelligence on Capital Markets

The objective of this thesis is to evaluate the possibility of creating a tool capable of predicting commodity prices. Along with other business strategies, tools and markets analyses for financial and capital markets, this tool should help make the best estimate of future developments on the observed markets. The main market, on which this work is focused, is the agricultural commodities market, namely corn and its related markets. The fundamental basis upon which the arguments in this thesis are built, is the use of artificial intelligence, particularly neural networks. The whole application is presented using a graphical user interface that allows even those with little or no understanding of this field to delve deeper into the interesting area - using modern computer systems to support trading activities.
The Use of Means of Artificial Intelligence for the Decision Making Support on Financial Markets

This master thesis deals with issue of trade on commodity market, especially the gold. It uses the artificial intelligence resources, more accurate non-linear auregressive neural network. The purpose is the prediction of the gold prices by indicators which has impact on the gold.

The April issue of Global Economic Outlook presents the regular monthly overview of recent and expected developments in selected territories, focusing on key economic variables: inflation, GDP growth, leading indicators, interest rates, exchange r ates and commodity prices. In this issue we also look at how global inventory levels affect commodity prices, focusing, among other things, on fundamental factors (production, consumption and inventories), which should be the main drivers of both current a nd future commodity prices. Using simple statistics, we then deduce the effect of these fundamentals, as well as other possible factors, on the prices of individual commodities.

World coffee market focusing on Colombia

This Bachelor thesis deals with the international coffee market and the position of Colombia at this market. The beginning focuses on the characteristics of coffee from its history, growing, processing and buying to its consumption. Afterwards, there is defined the international coffee market. The thesis introduces International Coffee Organization that plays a significant role in the coffee market and that is based on International Coffee Agreements. Furthermore, in the thesis I am analysing the most important coffee producers, exporters, consumers, importers and the world-famous coffee chains. The thesis also describes work of coffee stock market. The last chapter deals with the analysis of the position of Colombia at the international coffee market through obtained values of its production, consumption, export and import.

The February issue of Global Economic Outlook presents the regular monthly overview of recent and expected developments in selected territories, focusing on key economic variables: inflation, GDP growth, leading indicators, interest rates, exchange rates and commodity prices. In this issue we also consider how global imbalances in the world economy have changed since the start of the millennium in the context of the abating crisis period. The crisis has been reflected not only in a considerable worsening of the largest economies’ external positions (current account balances), but also in a deterioration of their domestic fiscal positions (public finance balances). Thus, an intensification of the twin deficit phenomenon is significantly complicating the process of reducing global imbalances in the world economy.

This year’s first issue of Global Economic Outlook presents the regular monthly overview of recent and expected developments in selected territories, focusing on key economic variables: inflation, GDP growth, leading indicators, interest rates, exchange rates and commodity prices. In this issue, we also focus on the life cycle of foreign direct investment (FDI) on both the theoretical and empirical level. Our article presents an empirically derived general profile of the FDI profitability life cycle and then applies it to create scenarios for the probable future evolution of total FDI earnings on the example of the Czech Republic.
