Výroba nanodrátů do porézního oxidu hliníku pomocí elektrolýzy

Práce pojednává o přípravě kovových nanodrátů elektrodepozicí z vodných roztoků solí kovů do pórů nevodivé šablony z porézního oxidu hlinitého. Teoretická část je zaměřena na bottom-up metody přípravy nanodrátů se šablonou, přehled elektrochemie a popis elektrodepozice. Praktická část se soustředí na přípravu nanodrátů (Ag, Cu, Ni-H) pomocí elektrodepozice stejnosměrným i střídavým proudem a geometrickou analýzu vyrobených nanodrátů pomocí rastrovací elektronové mikroskopie a mikroskopie atomárních sil. Zmíněny jsou také defekty komerčních i vyrobených šablon. Dále je diskutováno větvení a shlukování nanodrátů.
Oxidation barriers prepared by electrochemical procedures

The presented bachelor thesis deals theoretically with use of anodization procedures for preparation of self-organized porous oxide layers on aluminium. The techniques leading to different pore structures are summarized and the use of porous anodic alumina in various applications of nanotechnology are mentioned. The thesis is composed as initial entry-level theroretical study for prospective experimental work in the field of porous anodic alumina.
Comparison of Creep Behaviour and Microstructural Changes in Electrodeposited Ultrafine-grained Nickel and its Particle-reinforced Nanocomposite

On the basic of the creep experimental results the paper reports comparison creep behaviour of electrodeposited ultrafine-grained nickel and its particle-reinforced nanocomposite. The objective of this research was to further improve the knowledge of the creep behaviour of monolithic nickel and to explore the role of nano-sized SiO2 particles in the potential creep strengthening of electrodeposited Ni nanocomposite. The creep behaviour and microstructure of the pure ultrafine-grained nickel and its nanocomposite reinforced by 2 vol.% nano-sized SiO2 particles were studied at temperatures in the range from 293 to 573 K and at the tensile stresses between 100 to 800 MPa. It was found that the creep resistance of the nanocomposite might be noticeably improved compared to the monolithic nickel. Possible creep mechanisms controlling the creep rate during the creep loading were discussed. The Coble creep as creep rate controlling mechanism was founded improbable.
Polycrystalline gold electrode modified by thiols

The article reports on our continued investigation of modification of the gold electrode surface by thiolated compounds aimed at construction of an ion-selective sensor. Our previous work was focused on utilization of calix[4]arene molecules as a cavity sized ligand molecule. In this paper, calixarene and linear undecanethiol molecules were used as modifiers. We compared two ways of deposition thiol molecules, namely the spontaneous self-assembly process and the electrochemical deposition, in which the potential was applied on the electrode immersed into an adsorption solution. The concentration, time and potential conditions were optimized from the point of view of the SAM homogeneity. The modifying layers of calixarene and undecanthiol molecules were visualized by atomic force microscopy.
Electrodeposition of Metal from Polymer Electrolytes

Theoretic part of this work contains a survey of the fundamentals of electrode processes with emphasis on galvanic metal deposition. The experiments with cadmiumelectrodeposition from liquid cadmium perchlorate solution in propylene carbonate, and from cadmium containing PMMA based gels are described in experimental part. The morphology of deposited metallic cadmium on copper was observed by scanning electron microscope. Dendritic growth and of the substrate and fine deposit organic compounds containing film was formed from liquid electrolyte, while corrosion appeared in contact with the gel.
