Species variability of bentic organisms in Dračice river classicifed by PERLA system

Examination ecological size selected part of river (from village Františkov to border with Austria) on the basis of field watching. Observed results are analysed by system PERLA. Method is based on analysing biodiversity makrozoobenthos sample from fordables running water. Sampling can be apply in running water, where water column not exceed 1 m and speed of water stream to 1 m/s. Taking is made by normal or low water stage.
Training and education in climbing

The work follows training and education in climbing. At first, the theoretic part introduce climbing like a unit and show its history and sections. Then follows education, climbing rules, ethics and nature protection. At last, there are present climbing informations, completed with theory, practise and methodology of climbing education. The practical part is focused on concrete dates gaining about training and education in clubs of Czech mountaineering association and confirming the truth of research hypotheses made according to the theoretic part. The work is generally aimed to introduce a process of training and education in climbing and give actual informations about it, prooved by research.
The impact of tourism on protection of nature and environment in the selected region

This dissertation deals with impact of travelling on protection of nature and environment in the region called Žďárské vrchy. It shows the authorities of nature protection in the Czech republic. It contains the description of area itself. This work includes all the sports (cykling, hiking, mountaineering and other winter sports) which are done in this area. These sports can influence environment and this fact is analysed and there is also described the possible way of solution within nature protection of Žďárské vrchy. In this dissertation is described a problem of a sustainable develompment and tourism in this conservation area.

Authors are dealing with methods of delimitation, especially from the point-of-view of the state of preservation of biota. In the paper are characterized individual landscape-ecological units.
Participative management – key to minimaze conflicts between protection of biodiversity and socio-economic development of local communities

The project was aimed to propose a model of optimal coexistence of biodiversity protection and socio-economic development in large-scale protected areas. Its main output was identification of principles of participative management of protected areas and estimation of circumstances necessary for its practical implementation. The project focused on description of biodiversity in particular model areas, on eventuality of changes in biodiversity due to human activities and thus on identification of actual and potential conflicts. In parallel, selected parameters of quality of life of local population, behaviour the population and its relation to the Administration of protected area and to nature protection in general were studied. Analysis of behaviour of the administration of protected areas as social institution became also part of the project. The project was designed as empirical comparative study of three biosphere reserves (BR) - BR Šumava, BR Třeboňsko a BR Křivoklátsko.
The possibilities and limits of socio-economic development in the Šumava region

The present bachelor thesis is focused on the limits and possibilities of development in the Šumava region. The region is characterized mainly by its territory - there are three types of the specially protected areas - national park, protected landscape area and biosphere reserve. This thesis deals with the issue of the socio-economic development in relation to the principles of nature protection and sustainable development. The main goal of this paper is to define the possibilities, key activities and impacts on the region in connection with the occurrence of the types of protected geographical departments. The thesis also tried to clarify the current situation thanks to information obtained from an interview with three local stakeholders; furthermore, it analyzed strategic documents and evaluated the projects already implemented in the region.
