Study of influence of input parameters for the numerical modeling of the compression test
Polách, Marek ; Keršner, Zbyněk (referee) ; Lehký, David (advisor)
The thesis analyses influence of input parametres of the 3D Non Linear Cementitious 2 material model for the numerical modeling of compression test performed in ATENA 2D and ATENA 3D software. The aim is to identify parametres with considerable influence and subsequently replicate the load-deflection curve obtained from laboratory compression test by numerical modeling. The effects of selected model and material model settings are studied on three kind of models in total. As tools for analyzing the effects, deterministic and statistic sensitivity analyses were chosen. Parametres with significant influence will be highlighted and added to the group of parametres obtained from numerical modeling of three-point bending test. This will create a set of parametres of considerable influence when it comes to modeling advanced structures with different types of stresses.
Sensitivity of \kur{Borrelia burgdorferi} sensu lato complex to complement of different wild, domestic animals and humans: host-patogen interaction.
TICHÁ, Lucie
Sensitivity of Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato to serum complement from various animals and humans was analyzed. Complement-mediated Borrelia killing was observed in different combination of host serum and Borrelia genospecies. The obtained results revealed species-specific patterns of viability or mortality of spirochetes that is associated with host reservoir competence for Borrelia genospecies. The results confirmed the fact that parasite-host relationship determines the competent reservoir of Borrelia genospecies in nature. The complement of the host may have a key role in the global ecology of Lyme disease.
The CZK yield curve analysis and its application for the ALM analyses
Walos, Michal ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor) ; Tuček, Miroslav (referee)
The diploma thesis deals mostly with interest rate risk issue. It describes the basic methods of interest rate risk measurement with use of analyses executing by Asset Liability Management department in banks. Such analyses as repricing GAP, net interest income analysis, market value of equity and sensitivity analyses to interest rate movements. There is an analysis of Czech crown yield curve as well, in order to deeper insight of its probability behaviour. Results of this analysis are used for advanced techniques in ALM. Especially knowledge of volatilities of particular yield points and theirs relations is used in these methods. There was also a multi equation model for predictions of yield curve development created. One of the variables in the model there is the 2-week repo rate of Czech National Bank included.
Ethical apects of fatherhood.
ČECHOVÁ, Lenka
The work deals with the theme of faterhood from a historical, sociological, psychological and ethical perspective. The importance of the father in child care is defined as the general terms and in terms of specific developmental stages of the child and his female or male sex. The central part of the work consists of the basic characteristics of the ethical aspects that should be applied when the father is caring the child. Final summary is devoted to issue of gay fathers and the dilemma, which is associated with the possiblity to enable them to educate children.
Influence of collimator type to scintillation camera parameters
ŠTĚDROVÁ, Veronika
Bachelor work Influence of collimator type to scintillation camera is focused especially on experimental measurement and elaboration of results. In theoretical section I deal with a base principle of scintigraphy, describing of Gamma camera, single types of collimators, splitting of collimators according to a type of construction, and according to spatial resolution and sensitivity. In other sections there are examined exact methodology of measurements sensitivity of collimator and spatial resolution and results of measurements. The results are compared with specification given by producers and values published by other authors. In conclusion I recommend the essential type of collimator for nuclear medicine department.
