Insurance fraud on Russian insurance market

This bachelor thesis deals with description of insurance fraud on Russian insurance market, describes the insurance industry of Russia, its regulation and trends. Theoretical part begins from general definition of insurance market, describes the situation on Russian insurance market and also defines insurance fraud. Then, there are the analysis of individual fraud in the life and non-life insurance, methods of fighting against fraud and ways of prevention. Further thesis describes fraud indicators and their economic assessment. The conclusion of this thesis is a practical part, which testing three selected companies in order to evaluate the extent of their vulnerability to the fraud.

Analysis of motor vehicle insurance

Bachelor thesis in the first three chapters dealing with accident insurance from a theoretical point of view. It is a voluntary insurance, to whom it is addressed, what it is, what are its characteristics, such risks can protect and against whom not vice versa, how is the non-life insurance premiums calculated and what factors affect the amount specifically for accident insurance, all this have been the subject of my interest. In the end, I focused on practical research of financial market in the Czech Republic. Of all insurance companies offering accident insurance I was limited to the four largest and their financial products was analyzed. I wondered how it changes not only the price (the premium amount) for individual insurance companies, but also other conditions and services that are provided to clients.

The subject of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the development of the insurance markets in the Czech Republic, Germany and the United Kingdom on the basis of selected indicators. In the introductory part of this paper there are described the basic theoretical concepts and importance of the insurance market. In the second and third part there is an analysis of insurance markets of selected countries and their comparison.

Liability Insurance in Accordance with New Legislation

In 2014 a new Civil Code was adopted and many changes were connected to it. One of the most important changes were in the field of Liability insurance, especially changes in the compensation for damage and in the payment insurance settlement. Therefore the bachelor thesis deals with recodification of Civil Code impact on Liability insurance business by comparison of current legislation with the previous one. The practical part shows the impact of those changes of both insurance companies and business companies.

The thesis deals with the issue of insurance fraud on motor vehicle insurance. Insurance fraud is a serious problem affecting not only insurers, but also the whole society. Insurance fraud is being committed in connection with insurance and participants are both natural and legal persons in order to elicit insurance. Insurers respond to new trends in insurance fraud specialist staff training, creation of specialized teams, investment in new technologies and finding new sources of information for the prevention, detection and disclosure of insurance fraud. In my work to illustrate some cases of insurance fraud, also the tools and options as insurance fraud to detect, prove and make arrangements for the future.

Nové trendy v likvidaci pojistných událostí vybraných skupin počítačové a informační techniky

This thesis focuses on the issue of the claims adjustment of selected groups of computer and information technology in a connection with the protection against fraud cases. It describes the process of claim adjustment of innovated technology together with usable remaining parts. There are also suggested methodology procedures and such arrangements that from the practical point of view markedly limit claims costs. In this thesis a great emphasis is put on an individual approach to thinking about particular cases.
