Verification of Numerical Solution of 2d Flow in Experimental Valves with Rigid and Moving Cone
Matas, R. ; Vlček, Václav
This work was our introductory simulation of the body-compressible flow field interaction. Verification of calculations based on our experiments is not fully satisfactory, but they are important from the applied method point of view. Results have shown that it is possible to use a moving grid on a relatively complex geometry even at transonic velocities.
Experimental aeroelastic investigation of models with one- and two degrees of freedom
Vlček, Václav ; Luxa, Martin
Two models for aeroelastic experiments were realized and partly tested. Models have one- and two-degrees of freedom, elastic properties of these models are changeable. It is possible to carry out simultaneous optical measurements of the flow field and dynamic measurements.

Behaviour of magnetic drive for different number of magnetic pairs and temperatures
Houfek, Lubomír ; Fuis, Vladimír ; Krejčí, Petr
This paper concurs on our previous work in this problem. The mostly limited parameter for using magnetic drives is temperature. Permanent magnets can't use near Currie point, where it lost our magnetic features. Temperature changes under Currie point changes of magnetic properties of permanent magnets and changes of behavior of magnetic drives. The second main limited parameter is core pole factor. The magnitude of core pole factor relate with number of pairs of permanent magnet.

Simulation and experimental investigation of the oscillator with soft impacts
Peterka, František ; Kocanda, Lubomír ; Veselý, Jan
The dynamics of oscillators with rigid impacts, based on the Newton elementary theory of impacts, which neglects a time duration of the impact and the velocity of motion is described by coefficient of restitution, is known. New interest of the investigation is directed on the systems with soft impacts, when a time interval of the impact is not zero and it is necessary to choose a proper model of elastic and damping forces appeared during the soft impact [4]. Such approach can explain the behaviour of the oscillator, when it transits from the linear - impactless - motion into motion with rigid impacts.

Večeř, Marek ; Wein, Ondřej ; van der Linden, E. ; Venema, P. ; van Dusschoten, D. ; Sagis, L.
In this article is described Rheo-optical experiment in steady shear flow under apparent wall-slip conditions.
Guessing games with homogeneous and heterogeneous players: an experimental reconsideration
Kováč, E. ; Vojtek, M. ; Ortmann, Andreas ; Brázdik, F.
We replicate an experiment previously reported by Güth, Kocher and Sutter (2002). Our results are at variance with their results, but confirm their key hypothesis that heterogenous players guess closer to the equilibrium than homogenous players.
