Object of my thesis is the analysis and design of hair dryer regards to the aesthetic, environmental and technical requirements. The aim of the design is to create hair dryer, which manipulation will be comfortable in ergonomic way and the shape will be enriched by another functional elements.
Thermoplastic extrusion of ceramic materials with ionic and mixed conductivity
Kaštyl, Jaroslav ; Matoušek, Aleš (referee) ; Trunec, Martin (advisor)
In the bachelor thesis, an overview of the existing literature focused on thermoplastic extrusion method was worked out and based on the findings; the conditions for extrusion of mixtures with zirconia were optimized in order to produce rods. Great attention was paid to dimensional and shape precision of ceramic parts. Two methods were applied when preparing the ceramic mixtures – mixing and dissolving. These methods have been compared on the basis of the results achieved in rheological measurements of flow properties, microstructure and dimensional accuracy of the sintered rods. Having verified the efficiency of mixture dissolving, this method was used to prepare mixtures with different contents of cellulose and binder.
Familly house
John, Josef ; Janovský, Jaroslav (referee) ; Brukner, Bohuslav (advisor)
This work deals with the new family house for a four member family and detached design or architectural office in the town of Palkovice . Project documentation is processed in accordance with current applicable laws, regulations and standards. The building will be located on a separate building lot. The property is located close to III. class communication and all the necessary utilities. This is a two-storey building, on the first floor there are living room with kitchen, bedroom and sanitary facilities. There is also a shelter for car parking and a detached office with sanitary facilities . Ground-plan of the family house has the shape of two cantilevered perpendicular rectangles , whose outline dimensions are 18.75 x 9.00 m. The office building is shaped as a rectangle with dimensions of 8.75 x 5.75 m. The foundations are designed as monolithic from unreinforced concrete into the formwork foundation boards with embedded reinforcement. Vertical load-bearing structures are made of aerated concrete blocks. The vertical load-bearing structures of the shelter are made of galvanized steel elements and filling gabion walls. Ceilings are made of ceramic beam system with ceramic inserts HELUZ . Floors are made up of ceramic tiles and floating flooring. The building is covered with a flat roof single-shell thermal insulation. Above the shelter and the terrace there is a flat roof with a steel frame and wooden ceiling rafters. The ceiling is made up of ceiling boards Rheinzink. This work dealt with the preparatory and study work , executive documentation , text message, calculations of the thermal assessment , fire safety solutions and seminar work that addresses the problem of flat roofs.

Prescription dose
JEŽKOVÁ, Jana
This work deals with the problematic of development of pharmaceutical containers with regards to history and typology of shape. Based on theoretical work a realization of a new type of container, made of ceramic cast material, has been created.
Space. Cycle of plastic reliefs
PROLLOVÁ, Kateřina
I created the cycle of 5 plastic reliefs with the motifs of space effects in my project. As the first model I chose the moon in fog which it is said about that it has a ghostly power. As the second theme I chose the Earth like the symbol of all living. The third motif is the planet Saturn by which I was impressed with its rings. The fourth theme I called Neptune which is the windiest planet. The last motif is Pluto and it`s the smallest planet. I usted the color designed for low {--} temperature fixation for 170 ° C for thein decoration. As the motivation source were instrumental the creative works of František Peterka in my theoretic work. I verified the using of low {--} temperature stove paint in scholastic practice as compared with the ceramic enamel.
A Set of Wall Clocks
HAVRÁNKOVÁ, Marta
This diploma thesis consists of two main parts {--} a practical and a theoretical one. The aim of the practical part was to design and create seven ceramic wall clocks and to plant clockworks with hands into them. The theoretical part deals with time measurement in history, it follows the development of time measuring devices from the antiquity to the present. It also describes the techniques used by creating the set of clocks and ideal and motivational sources which have influenced the processing of this topic.
Tahová pevnost keramických pěnových materiálů
Řehořek, Lukáš
Full understanding of mechanical properties of highly porous (cellular) ceramic foams is important due to their applications in many ranges of industrial, medical and other applications. There is described technique of mechanical testing in tension of ceramic foam material in this paper. Tested material was based on alumina ceramic and it was manufactured by slurry coating of polyurethane foam. Testing procedure consist from fixation of ceramic foam into aluminum pots by resin. Results and statistical analysis of more than 60 ceramic foam specimens loaded by tension were also described.
