Essence of financial analysis is evaluation of present-state and past development on the base of financial statement analysis. Regarding to market expectations can the results of financial statement analysis help to forecast future deve-lopment of the business. Important part of financial analysis is also commentary and draft of measures leasing to steady and effective business functioning.

The Master’s thesis is focused on assessment of financial situation of company Prostějovská stavební společnost - PROSTAS, s.r.o. since year 2003 till 2006. The assessment is carried out in form of financial analysis on base of theoretical knowledge and consequentially applied on company. From established results I am suggesting recommendations which should lead to improvement of company’s economical situation.
Device Management in the corporate environment in comparison to ITIL requirements

The aim of this thesis is to compare the internal processes engaged in device management to ITIL recommendations and to determine the degree of similarity of specific processes with a given framework. Furthermore, this thesis aims to assess the benefits arising from utilization of specific inventory system and specify areas, which could be improved. I reached selected targets through method designed by myself to compare processes. The comparison is made through selected criteria and their weights representing the importance of these criteria. I determined a degree of similarity and areas, where processes do not reach the needs of the framework. Based on the data, it is possible to design and implement the necessary changes for processes to become more effective.

The theoretical section specifies the nature and objectives of financial analysis, defines the users and resources necessary for its implementation. It also describes the job as a financial analyst and financial analysis methods. In the practical part of this thesis deals with the financial analysis of the company Vladimir Rendl - truhlářství s.r.o. based on the findings of the theoretical part.

This bachelor thesis is focused on the influence of financial and economic crisis on the performance of selected funds from the offer of Conseq company. It defines history of collective investment and the scope and characteristic features of collective investment. The thesis primarily aims to analyze the selected stock, bond and mixed funds. There is given an example calculation using model based on regular or single investments. The aim is to point out the real impacts of financial and economic crisis for small investors and to outline how the sudden fall in the long run related to the value of the property will be shown.

The main aim of this thesis is above all to analyse trends in asset management with the intention to make a conclusion regarding current event on financial market in the Czech Republic. The emphasis of the all work is focused on the current importance of the subjects called professional asset managers and their clients, which are related to czech financial market and also have global financial links. The important part of the work is the analysis of the individual investors gathering financial resources from their clients, which are later allocated by the asset managers on the markets in different investment instruments in the form of available capital. This capital is later used by the group of investors to other financial transactions.
