Návrh ochrany drobných vodních ploch a mokřadů bez statutu zvláštní ochrany

Výsledky terénních průzkumů ukazují, jak z naší přírody neustále mizí zbytky remízků, drobných tůní a malých mokřadů. Tyto drobné plochy jsou ohroženější než rozsáhlá území. Nejedná se o chráněné plochy, význačné výskytem zvláště chráněného druhu živočicha či rostliny. Nespadají do soustavy NATURA 2000, ani nemají žádnou jinou ochranu, a tím jsou odsouzeny k postupnému zazemňování a zárůstu náletovými dřevinami. Byl proveden výběr lokalit ve třech vzájemně vzdálených oblastech (Plzeňský kraj, Královéhradecký kraj a Olomoucký kraj) cenných z přírodovědeckého hlediska (tůně, mokřady), které nemají žádný statut ochrany, ale jsou důležité pro udržení biodiverzity . U výběru lokalit byla zohledněna kritéria: lokalita není v NP, CHKO nebo v nevhodné oblasti, poloha v agrární krajině, přítomnost drobné vodní plochy nebo zde tato v minulosti byla a bude možné ji drobným zásahem obnovit, plocha vyžaduje managementový zásah, volný přístup na lokalitu (není oplocena – VP, vodní zdroj, atd.), souhlas majitele. Popis jednotlivých lokalit z hlediska herpetologického, malakologického a botanického a návrh opatření v jednotlivých lokalitách.

Studie ochrany krajinného rázu (ve smyslu

Metodika má sloužit orgánům ochrany přírody v několika směrech. Hlavním je vymezení rámce pro činnost orgánů ochrany přírody při ochraně krajinného rázu. Jedná se o vymezení okruhů problémů, které jsou řešitelné institutem ochrany krajinného rázu a vymezení limitů, za kterými by se už ochrana dostala do sféry jiných zákonů. Metodika je nástrojem pro identifikaci nejcennějších znaků a hodnot krajinného rázu. Proto je metodika nezbytná jak při posuzování konkrétních záměrů (stavby, využití území) v přírodních parcích, tak i pro preventivní hodnocení území přírodních parků. Metodika může být použita pro stanovení omezujících podmínek pro určité činnosti v přírodních parcích.

Economic analysis of Beroun - Plzeň railway line

This bachelor thesis examines the importance of the railway line Beroun -- Plzeň for basic transport services in surrounding municipalities of Beroun, Rokycany and Plzeň-City Districts. It aims to prove, by relevant economic, time and capacity indicators, the importance of this key transport line for residents of catchment centers and for their commuting in major centers. The sources of knowledge in the theoretical part are followed by their specific application in the practical. Character of region and railway track is described in detail in this thesis. There are described all the settlements on this track including its administrative structure, population and most important direction of commuting. Highlighted are the four main centers of the region along the track -- Beroun, Hořovice, Rokycany and Pilsen. Analyzed are the costs of commuting from selected communities in these centers in the form of rail or bus fares or in the form of the cost of private car transport. These costs are examined for single-commuting and regular commuting (monthly). The density of traffic on the track is described by intervals of trains and their timetable during the day and within days a week. Distinguished are the passenger trains and express trains. Besides to price costs of travel is also analyzed the time of transport modes. Attention is also paid to the integrated transport systems in the region - namely, Integrated Transport of the Central Bohemian Region and Pilsen integrated transport. Analyzed data are found out from tariff terms of individual carriers (price condition), of cartographic material (distance) from the databases of the Czech Statistical Office (population) and internet resources devoted to the issue of passenger rail transport (Train and capacity).

The thesis is focused on leisure time activities as tourist destinations around the city Pilsen. The theoretical part consists of four topics - tourism, marketing research, regional development in relation to tourism, healthy lifestyle. The practical part is dedicated to the survey on the awareness about offer of leisure time activities around the city Pilsen. The survey is also focused on demand for possibilities to spending leisure time around the city Pilsen. The practical part could serve as a recommendation for service providers. The practical part includes also a list of selected possibilities to spending leisure time around the city Pilsen.

The issue of meeting quality standards in residential social service facilities in the Pilsen region

The quality of social services can be guaranteed by inspection according to predefined, measurable criteria. In the social sphere these comprise quality standards of social services. Quality standards are defined as a set of criteria through which the level of quality of provision of social services in the sphere of personnel and operational provision of social services and in the sphere of relations between the provider and the clients is defined. The aim of the work was to find out what problems are encountered by residential facilities in the Plzeň Region when they are introducing quality standards of social services. A partial aim of the work was to outline possible options as to how to optimise the given state. Data was obtained through a qualitative survey. The interviewing method, semi-guided interview technique and content analysis of documents were selected in order to achieve the goals of the work. The survey took place in selected residential social-care facilities in the Plzeň Region. The conducted survey implied that standard No. 2 Protection of personal rights and standard No. 5 Individual planning are considered by the facilities as more complex in terms of implementation yet very beneficial in practice. Also, the formulation and definition of standards, especially in the case of standard No. 1 Goals and methods of provision of social services created difficulties. Other problems that are encountered by the facilities include motivation, time demands and administrative load of the staff. Proposed solutions for the optimisation of the current situation are directed into the area of awareness, use of information technologies, and improvement of the lifelong education system. The following hypothesis was formulated based on the qualitative survey: the qualifications of social workers and social service workers achieved influence the introduction of quality standards. The diploma thesis may become an inspiration and a source of information for facilities that are adjusting the existing proposals or are dealing with the initial introduction of quality standards of social services. In particular, the above suggestions for optimisation, a more detailed elaboration of which could become the subject of another work in the social sphere, can be of major benefit.

Development of Small Businesses in the Pilsen Region

My thesis is aimed to assess the development of small and medium size businesses in the Pilsen Region. This aim was being achieved with my research of the small and medium size business activity in the Pilsen Region. The conclusion encompasses the aims and the results of the thesis. In this chapter a final interpretation of the small and medium size businesses development conditions is given and there are various concepts and references as well.
