Faktory ovlivňující poptávku po osobních automobilech v ČR
ČURILLOVÁ, Michaela
The bachelor thesis investigates factors which influence the demand for passenger cars in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part of this work is focused on basic terms and determinants which are important for the demand. Further it describes particular statistical methods, which are used for the analysis. The practical part contains the introduction to the automotive industry and the description of specific attributes of the demand for passenger cars. This part analyses factors which may have an effect on the demand for passenger cars in the Czech Republic. The main factors and the dependence are explained by applying econometric methods. Analyzing reveals these important factors: number of registrations of passenger cars, consumer prices of new and used passenger cars, consumer prices of fuel, population and income. The conclusion contains the summary of impacts on the specific demand.

To general principles of acquiring foreign language by child
BALOUNOVÁ, Romana
The submitted M.A. thesis builds on the B.A. thesis entitled On general questions of psycholinguistics and develops factual points of departure related to the topic of adoption of a foreign language by a child. A part of the theoretical section is the definition of basic concepts in the field of psycholinguistics, in particular developmental psycholinguistics, and the design of the notion of adoption of a foreign language by a child. The primary goal of the study is to provide a comparative listing of the individual theories of adoption of a foreign language by a child, not only at the level of the mother tongue, but at the level of a second language as well. The basic theoretical concepts of adoption of a foreign language are based on linguistic, psychological and especially psycholinguistic scientific research. The other goals of the thesis include the definition of extensive variable determinants which participate in the process of adoption of a foreign language by a child and also influence the resultant level of adoption of a non-native language. In the concluding part of the theoretical compilation, space is provided for the psycholinguistic aspects of adoption, such as enunciative, speech and written displays of a foreign language. The empirical part is built up in a way so that it highlights the applicability of the process of adoption of a foreign language by a child in a natural environment, i.e. in a bilingual family environment where the resultant process is the most effective and verifiable. For this reason, it is not possible to talk about learning a foreign language but rather about the adoption of a second language.

Fast Ray-Triangle Intersection
Havel, Jiří ; Zemčík, Pavel (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
Triangle is the mostly used primitive in computer graphics. Calculation of its intersection with a ray has many applications and is often a bottleneck of a program. This work focuses on its usage and various methods of calculation. It tries to combine these techniques to achieve high performance on modern processors.
Matrices, Determinant and Body Volume
Šomplák, Radovan ; Hrdina, Jaroslav (referee) ; Vašík, Petr (advisor)
In his thesis describes the basic properties of matrices, determinants and their use in display issues between vector spaces. In the final chapters devoted to determinants and its applications, which indicates the relation between determinants and calculation of volume. Subsequently determinanti describes how to use in calculating the elements using multiple integrals. Another possible application is the so-called Cramerovo rule which allows us to solving systems of linear equations.
Territorial polarity of socio-economic differentiation in Czechia
SUCHÁNEK, Jonáš
This bachelor thesis focuses on the territorial polarization of socio-economic differentiation in Czechia, which is determined by a spatial analysis of previously selected indicators, such as gross domestic product, unemployment rate or religiosity. These indicators are analysed, studied and divided into three individual groups (economic, social and other), differentiated by their own attributes. The main goal is to identify and define determinants and causalities, that made the formation of a certain territoral polarization possible. After a thorough syntesis, all regions are seperated into either a more developed or less developed section.
Dopad přímých zahraničních investic z Evropské unie na Singapur
Hrazdíra, Adam ; Klosová, Anna (advisor) ; Taušer, Josef (referee)
The goal of this dissertation is to investigate the impact of FDI flows from the European countries to Singapore. The analysis focuses on the period between 1995 and 2013. The work begins with the review of the relevant literature. The most important findings about spillover, spinoff effects, and the main FDI determinants are summarized in tables. The empirical part reveals the trends of FDI in Singapore with an emphasis on the influence of FDI from European countries. The work contains two main research questions: Does FDI from European countries have a positive impact on GDP growth in Singapore? Is it possible to identify the main determinants that attract FDI in Singapore? Time series analyses and panel analyses are used in the dissertation. Among the most valuable results belong the confirmation of a positive impact of FDI from Europe on GDP growth and the identification of some of the main positive determinants for attracting FDI in Singapore.
Analysis of determinants of demand for counterfeits
Novák, Martin ; Bisová, Sára (advisor) ; Slaný, Martin (referee)
The theoretical part of thesis describes the theory of counterfeits and review of foreign literature. The empirical part analyzes the factors that influence the demand for counterfeits. Data for analysis are obtained by using questionnaires for two cities - Dvůr Králové nad Labem and Prague. Main determinants of demand for counterfeits are experience with counterfeits, satisfaction with them, price of counterfeits and current income. Analysis has shown, that these determinants could be applied to both cities and they are significant in almost all of the models. We can also observe a few other minor determinants that influence the demand for counterfeits.
