Použití "rovnic mělké vody" na proudění nenewtonských suspenzí
Hoření, Bohumír ; Chára, Zdeněk ; Vlasák, Pavel
The paper presents an attempt to use shallow water equations to solve a flow of non-Newtonian suspensions. Saint-Vennant set of equations of incompressible free surface flow in thin layers (frequently referred as "shallow water equations") forms a baseline for theoretical solution. The original set of equations established for Newtonian fluids is modified to solve also flow of non-Newtonian fluids with arbitrary rheological behaviour
Transport hrubých částic v nenewtonovských suspenzích
Vlasák, Pavel ; Chára, Zdeněk ; Konfršt, Jiří
The paper deals with flow behaviour of slurries containing colloidal, clay, dust and also coarse-grained particles. The slurry flow behaviour changes form Newtonian to non-Newtonian in dependence on the solid phase concentration and composition, especially on the contents of colloidal particles. Flow behaviour of fluidic fly and bottom ash slurries, clay and sand slurries was experimentally investigated with respect to the solids composition, volumetric concentrationa and slurry velocity. The re-circulation pipe loop with smooth stainless steel pipes of the inner diameters D = 17.5, 26.8 and 36 mm was used for measuring the slurry flow parameters. Also the effect of time and intensity of shearing was studied for time dependent fluidic ash slurries
The Compare of Dynamic Properties of Electromechanical Drive Systems with
Kratochvíl, Ctirad ; Procházka, František ; Pulkrábek, J.
DC drives are more and more used drives in engineering for both high and low powers. In examination of its dynamic properties one must consider both disturbances of drives themselves and its control and possible disturbances in gears.
Experimental apparatus for flow separation modelling at a step expansion of a channel
Jonáš, Pavel ; Mazur, Oton ; Uruba, Václav
A blow-down wind tunnel is described for the investigations of flow separation on a backward-facing step in a channel 0.1 m x 0.25 m. Technique of fundamental measurements is also described together with their demonstration on the examples of flow investigation at the ratio 0.1 of the step high divided by channel high.
On the method of big droplets indication in a wet steam flow using the hot wire anemometer
Uruba, Václav ; Jonáš, Pavel
Some aspect of method of indication of big droplets in a wet steam flow are studied in detailes In the presented paper. Results contribute to physical interpretation of obtained results.
Effect of the power change on time averaged characteristics of the steam flow downstream the LP stage of the 210 MW turbine
Jonáš, Pavel ; Mazur, Oton ; Uruba, Václav
Preliminary results of hot-wire anemometer measurements are presented that were performed in wet steam flow downstream the LP stage of the turbine TG21 in Prunéřov II at the power 210 MW and 140 MW.
A new method of measurement of some statistical moments of velocity and concentration in a stream of two-components gas mixture
Mazur, Oton
System of equations is derived for the calculations of mean values, covariance and variance of the longitudinal velocity component and the admixture concentration in a binary gases mixture.
Design of experimental test rig for the research of the flow in curved diffusers
Sládek, Aleš ; Jonáš, Pavel
The design and construction are described of an experimental rig for the invesstigation of channell-flow and flow in curved diffusers.
Fázově středované charakteristiky proudění mokré páry po proudu za NT stupněm parní turbíny
Jonáš, Pavel ; Mazur, Oton ; Uruba, Václav
Single rotary inclined hot-wire anemometer was used during the investigation of the phase averaged characteristics of unsteady wet steam flow inside the LP stage of the steam turbine TG21 at the power station Prunéřov II. The effect of the passage from the nominal regime to the reduced one on the flow structure is outlined.
Vibration of a 1DOF system excited by energy source with limited power and inertia
Půst, Ladislav
The oscillations of a linear system with one degree of freedom forced by a mechanical spring exciter connected to the motor with limited driving moment and limited moment of inertia are investigated. Limited power and inertia of motor causes distortion of harmonic motion and non-uniform passage through resonance zone as well as jump phenomena in frequency. The influence of pre-stress of spring connection between oscillating system and motor is studied as well.
