THE PRODUCTION EFFECTS OF BROWN SEAWEEDS IN DAIRY COWS
MUROŇOVÁ, Nikola
The aim of the work was to observe effect of Elo Macro preparation of milch cows. For two months the experimental group (n = 36) was given feed enriched with 5 g brown seaweeds Elo Macro preparation but the control group (n = 34) was not. The experiment was repeated. In the second experiment there were the experimental group (n = 23) and control group (n = 23). The effect of brown seaweeds in preparation Elo Macro was tested: dairy production, index P 2:1, average fat, protein and laktose, all in milk, number of somatic cells, number of inflammations milk gland, parameters reproduction, specific gravity of colostrum, weight and vitality in calves after birth. The effect of the preparation brown seaweeds was not statistical significant. The positive effect was found out in the day dairy production and a milk protein.
The concept evaluation of dairy cattle nutrition
ROUBÍČKOVÁ, Jana
Bachelor thesis gives a comprehensive overview of the dairy cow nutrition and assesses the system of nutrition and feeding in relation to milk production. The main part is devoted to the basics of dairy cow nutrition, the main nutrient requirements and composition of feed diets. There was assessed composition of feed rations for the year 2010 in working conditions on the School farm Měšice. The recommendations were designed to improve the nutrition level on the farm on the based data.
Analysis of selected effects on fertility of dairy herds in the Czech Pied cattle
FÁK, Tomáš
The important presumption and interest of all the cattle breeders is to own herd which is during good reproduction capabled of reaching high milk utility. This is possible only in case that quality genetic basis of herds is ensured. The reproduction of herd is in the centre of attention of our cattle breeders in these days. Constantly making worse reproduct indicators are the main problems of many agricultural companies pursuing of breeding of cattle. It is need of breeding of cattle to devote right attention especially in mountains and foothills regions because in these areas the breeding of cattle frequently performes unproductive function. The objective of this work was assessment of reproduct indicators by genotypes at herd of czech pied cattle. In the monitoring there were included in dairycows which were calved for the first time in 2007 to 2009. The monitoring dairycows were separeted to groups by genetic share of czech pied cattle ( C1, C2 a C3). In created groups there were monitored reproduction indicators ( interval, insemination interval, insemination index, service period), the age in the first calved, milk utility and percentage after the first insemination. These indicators were refered to genotypes of individual breeding The gravidity of heifers of all genotypes groups after the first insemination was over 60% which can be valued as excellent. At the cows was this indicator weaker than average in ČR which is 41,5%. The average value of gravidity after the first insemination at cows of groups C1 to C3 was 40,6%. The insemination interval was unsuitable with average duration 90 days at all groups. The values of service period were unsuitable too with average duration 141 days during monitoring period. The longest service period was at genotypes group C3 ( 154 days). The age in the first calved at all genotypes groups was higher than breedig aim. The average age at all groups in the first time calved was 33 months. The breeding aim is 27 to 29 months. The influence among genotypes and reproduction indicators wasn´t proved. The influence of genotypes was proved at milk utility in the first lactation. The highest milk utility in the first lactation had group C3 (5249,476 kg of milk). The found results proved that monitoring indicators of fertility and milk utility are influenced by sustenance of dairycows and management of herd.
A Biological Noise In The Environment of Farms Breeding Dairy Cows.
DVOŘÁK, Miroslav
In stockbreeding of farm animals implicates a noise not only an implementing and increasing mechanization, but as well as a noise incurred by animals themselves. It means a noise rising by speech of breeding animals (a biological noise). The aim of this work is measuring of this noise on a family farm in Olešnice, work it up according to appropriate standards and demonstrate the results graphically. Obtained noise rates are reviewed in term of legislative and hygienic regulations and orders.
Comparison of gut parasites incidence on chosen farms
HUBENÁ, Lucie
The main goal of the thesis was to compare prevalence of intestinal parasites of cattle in farms using different technologies of breeding, and evaluation of the obtained data. Irregularly, from spring to autumn 2010, faeces samples of dairy and meat cattle were collected from the chosen farms. A total of 425 samples of cows from three farms was collected. Two of the three breeds (herd A and B) consisted of Holstein and Fleckvieh Breed, first of the herds was pastured. The third herd (C) was of Limousine breed and was pastured whole season. The samples were collected in plastic containers in fresh state. In the examined samples, gut parasites of genus Eimeria and helminthes of the family Trichostrongylidae were diagnosed. In the herd A, no intestinal parasites were found. The most common parasites diagnosed in the herd B were coccidia (38%). Helminths of family Trichostrongylidae were also diagnosed (16,6%). In the herd C, both coccidia of the genus Eimeria and parasitic helminths were found (thirs prevalence was 38% and 26%, respectively). Seasonal dynamics of the parasites was also monitored, a descending trend was detected from summer to autumn. Prevalence in the herd B was 64% in summer, 58% in autumn, in the herd C were the respective prevalences 66% and 70%.
Analysis of the causes for discarding dairy Holstein cattle
PROVAZNÍK, Pavel
The bachelor thesis analyses the causes of discarding of dairy cows of Holstein cattle. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the most common causes, which lead to discarding of dairy cows from breeding in collective farm Trhový Štěpánov a. s. In this thesis were evaluated the results for 294 dairy cows in 2010. The underlying data were obtained from Dairyplan programm on the farm in Trhový Štěpánov, from economic analysis of ZD Trhový Štěpánov a. s. between 2008 and 2010 and from the annual report for each year. In 2010 there were discarded 294 dairy cows from total 864 pieces, that means 34 % of total number. Among causes of discarding of dairy cows belong low productivity, other zootechnical reasons, udder desease, fertility disorders, difficult births and other health reasons. The most dairy cows were discarded for other health reasons. To other health reasons belong liver desease, displacement of abomasum, paratuberculosis and bad condition of limbs. For these reasons it was discarded more than 57 % of dairy cows. The second most common reason was the fertility disorder with less than 16% of dairy cows and the least of dairy cows were discarded for the bad condition of udder and the other zootechnical reasons. Analysed causes of discarding of dairy cows in ZD Trhový Štěpánov a. s. mainly agree with results of control of productivity in the whole Czech Republic.
Nutrition and feeding influence for economic parameters of milk production
DOLEŽAL, Tomáš
The thesis aims to evaluate the influence of nutrition and feed on the economic indexes of milk production in the Agriculture Cooperative of Borovany. The first part of the thesis focuses on the basic aspects of dairy cattle breeding including the physiological processing affecting their efficiency. The second part concentrates on preparing feed rations, describing the crucial elements specifying the level of milk yield and a particular way of feeding technique. The main factors influencing the economic indexes of milk production are desribed and analyzed in the pivotal part of the thesis, primarily the feed costs and quality. The objective of the thesis is to find out in what way the feed quality can affect the economic indexes of milk production in the observed years of 2007 and 2008.
An evaluation the reasons of the discarding of dairy cows from the breed
ZNAMENANÁ, Lucie
The aim of the trial was to estimate the most common reasons of discarding of diary cows from the breeding. The major priority is to keep good health of breeding dairy cows and welfare conditions in the cattle breeding, because good health belongs among main conditions of economically successful milk production. Among the most common reasons of diary cows discarding belongs discarding for udder disease, for disorder of the reproduction, the discarding from another health reasons, for low yields and for old age. There were observed 519 out diary cows in the herd of Holsteins breed, where was observed reason of the discarding by genotype, the first calving age, the age of discarding by indicators of the reproduction and milk yields. Health reasons (36,22 %) and disorder of the reproduction (34,68 %) of diary cows were the often cause of premature discarding diary cows form the breed, which increased the cost for herd replacement and reduced average milk yields. For the improvement of breed economic there is therefore key improvement of reproduction indicators and health.
