Renovation of the building with respect to energy demands

The diploma thesis deals with the solutions of the renovation of a panel apartment building with regard to energy efficiency. The theoretical part deals with heat pumps. The acquired knowledge was subsequently applied in the computational part, where the energy assessment of the current state of the apartment building and the design of two possible variants of renovation are addressed. The aim of the first variant is the renovation of the building to meet classification class C using the possible funds. The second variant is focused on the technical equipment of the building and primary energy from renewable sources, so that the apartment building reaches classification class A. Both proposed variants are assessed from both an energy and financial point of view. The project part then contains certificates of energy intensity of individual variants of the building.
Heating of building with almost zero energy consumption

The first part of the thesis is a research, where the history of heating is summarized, energy sources and types of heating systems are divided and then traditional and unconventional heat sources used in domestic heating are compared. In the second part of this work are made designs of heat sources for heating a specific house. And in the end of the work is made an economic evaluation of the designs.
Refrigeration system with passive evaporator

This thesis is concerned with the design of a heat pump that does not use a ventilator during operation. In the introductory chapter, the functioning and the basic components of this device and other types of heat pumps are described. Properties of some commonly used refrigerants and oils as well as their classifications are stated. Due to the absence of a ventilator, a special heat exchanger was designed to achieve the required heat power. The choice of components in this refrigeration system takes into consideration the efficiency and functionality of the device.

This Master's thesis deals with reusing waste heat from the kitchen and .cold rooms of a restaurant, as a source of heat for heat pump water heater. The first part is about basic principles and theory which is needed to understand the function of heat pump and possibilities of reusing wasted heat. In the other parts, there are calculations and designs not only of a heat pump, but also coolers and ventilation unit needed for recycling of heat.

This thesis describes the design of cooling ice rink. Cooling system design is based on a physical nature, measured data and observations from practice. The result is a proposal cooling system with the highest possible cooling factor, which uses waste heat for technology needs snow pit and hot water, in order to achieve the lowest cost of operation ice rink.

The aim of this thesis is determination of the configurations and parameters of the system for heat recovery from waste water from washing machines with a heat pump. The first part of the thesis deals with the principle and construction of heat pumps and the use of heat from waste water. The second part of the thesis deals with the construction of the system for preheating of clear water which flows to washing machines. The main section of the second part of the thesis is the design of the heat pump with evaluation of the proposed solution.
