Pekárek, Mojmír ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis investigates robotic welding of aluminium alloys. It is divided into for parts, which are a summary of the findings of this problematic. The first part is focused on the robotics and the main distribution of industrial manipulators. The next part investigates about three possibilities of aluminium alloys welding at which two of them are focused on arch welding and the last one on the laser welding. In the third part is illustratively demonstrated the knowledge from previous parts on three various real cases to which is added also superstructure about process modification possibilities. At the end of the thesis is processed case study, which brings application of theoretic information in practice.

Bršťák, Ondřej ; Dvořák, Jaromír (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis focuses on the design and construction of a lightsaber. Film and industrial variants have been discussed in order to create authorial designs. Out of those, one variant has been selected for further processing. Engraving has been added to the main component. This thesis describes in further detail the process of manufacture and the machines used for it with the calculation of cutting parameters. Three NC programs have been developed and implemented via the selected methods and tools. The documentation and the estimated cost of the process in context of the industrial versions have been included.
Optimalization of cutting process for machining of aluminium profile on CNC centre
Král, Ondřej ; Fiala, Zdeněk (referee) ; Jaroš, Aleš (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with the suggestion of suitable tools for milling aluminum alloys profiles for the construction of aperture fillings and their aplication to a CNC machining center for increasing the efficiency of the cutting process. The first part of the thesis is focused on the description of the company and the workplace of production of aluminum alloys constructions. The following pages contain description of standardized products, which are used to identify the test profile that is part of the experimental verification. Next part of this thesis is characteristic of aluminum alloys and tool materials suitable for their machining. Second part of this work contains an analysis of the current state, suggestion of new cutting tools and their application to the production proces. At the end of this thesis there is the technical-economic evaluation that deals with the time and economic savings of the applied design.
Welding of aluminum alloys using high-power semiconductor laser
Mikeš, David ; Kubíček, Jaroslav (referee) ; Mrňa, Libor (advisor)
Thesis deals with the optimization of process parameters during laser welding of aluminum alloys 5000 series. The theoretical part describes the types of lasers and their applications in industry, further discusses the properties of aluminum alloys, laser welding theory and principles of monitoring and diagnostics of laser process. In the experimental part the samples were welded using a semiconductor laser. For those samples were evaluated mechanical properties, welded defects and structure depending on the process parameters. Using the photodetector was observed stability of laser process by sensing the plasma plume. The link between stability and the formation of structural defects in the weld joint was observed from the measurement results.
Mechanical and microstructural characteristics of materials produced by SLM method
Hradil, David ; Jan, Vít (referee) ; Pantělejev, Libor (advisor)
The master's diploma thesis deals with the mechanical and structural characteristics of aluminium-base alloy 2000 series, produced by selective laser melting (SLM). The experimental part of the thesis deal with selection of SLM processing parameters, influence of scanning strategy and evaluation of mechanical and structural characteristics of fabricated materials. Mechanical characteristics were evaluated based on results of tensile tests and microhardness measurement. Structural characteristics of materials produced by SLM were evaluated using metallographic analysis.
Controled crystallisation of aluminium alloys castings poured in shell moulds
Mašková, Lenka ; Střítecký, František (referee) ; Roučka, Jaromír (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to verify a possibility of controlling the crystallisation of aluminium alloys poured in shell moulds in order to achieve directional solidification. For this purpose, new cooling plant has been designed and fabricated. Several sample castings were produced under different initial conditions. Based on the evaluation of measured temperatures, a numerical simulation of heat transfer was created using the ProCAST software. Finally, the sample castings were sectioned into specimens that were, subsequently, metallographically polished and the evaluation of their structure with respect to the amount and types of defects was performed.
Controlled melt gassing and its influence on properties and structure of aluminum alloy castings
Jagošová, Adriana ; Luňák, Milan (referee) ; Kaňa, Václav (advisor)
The first chapter of the thesis deals with the occurrence of gases in the aluminum melt, what are their sources, what is the solubility of hydrogen in the aluminum melt and the formation of gas cavities. The second chapter divides the defects caused or associated with the presence of gases in the casting. They can be bubbles, shrinkage, or diluents. Pore morphology and its influence on mechanical properties are discussed. The third chapter deals with methods of melt degassing, either by vacuuming, bubbling with active or inert gases, or using special methods and preparations. In the fourth chapter methods for determination of hydrogen content in aluminum melt are divided into analytical methods, methods based on Sieverts law and indication methods. The fifth chapter deals with controlled gassing, its objectives and the preparations used for this purpose. The sixth chapter describes the experiment where the influence of the amount of Probat Fluss Micro 100 on the different casting thicknesses and its results were investigated using a test casting.
High Speed Milling of Aluminum Alloys for Aircraft Industry
Pazdera, Lukáš ; Polzer, Aleš (referee) ; Píška, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this paper is a complex analysis of the high speed cutting in the aircraft industry. The paper studies especially the machining of aluminum alloys, which are characterized in the first part. We can find in next chapters a view on the high speed cutting from aspect of the chip formation, the force load and the machined surface roughness. The end of the paper is focused on the issues of the CNC, machining of typical aircraft shapes and description of roughing paths, which increase the productivity.
Optimization of NC program using CAD/CAM software
Paseka, Jan ; Kaderka, Jaroslav (referee) ; Osička, Karel (advisor)
Tendency of this master thesis is a proposal of savings in the process of technological production’s preparation in a manufacturing company. In the first part is elaborated general theoretical study of current components and NC programs. Based on this, and finished analysis was defined optimization’s proposals described in second part. Thanks this complete proposals comes to time and money savings, which are needed for implementation of prototype project into serial production.
Influence of exothermic sleaves on solidification of aluminium alloys
Zajíček, Roman ; Krutiš, Vladimír (referee) ; Roučka, Jaromír (advisor)
The master’s thesis deals with the influence of the exothermic risers on the solidification of aluminum alloys. The work is divided into three parts. The first theoretical part describes the differences of properties of cast aluminum alloys compared to other based metals, especially iron alloys. It also describes the methodology of designing risers, composition of exothermic mixtures and finally gives an overview on the simulation programs on the market, their application in foundry practice and briefly explains how to define the material in the simulation program ProCAST. The second part describes the experimental measurement of the solidification time of aluminum alloy AlSi7Mg0,3 in the sand form with exothermic riser. The final section describes the simulation of experimental measurements. Further with help of simulation software it is tried to find the general principles that have an influence on feed module rate of exothermic riser.
