Teplice, Bílinská st. - roundabout design
Chladný, Miroslav ; Veselý, Miloš (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The aim of my master´s thesis is to design documentation, at the level of study, for roundabout. The area of interest is defined by the crossroad of Lounská, Americká, Bílinská streets and the conection of existing road I/13 . This is the crossroad of local roads, which are functional group C-serving with the serving function. The aim of conversion of existing crossroad on the roundabout is to calm and clarify the traffic in the locality. There are also designed comunications for pedestrians in the locality. The study is solved in two variant of conection to existing road I/13.
Intersection Of Road III/01130 and Hillova st. In Opava Redevelopment
Škvainová, Aneta ; Klepáček, Josef (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of my bachelor’s thesis is the redevelopement of the classical intersection of road III/01130 and Hillova street in Opava. The intersection redevelopement is solved in variants corresponding to the study. There are checked spatial options for adjusting the existing classical intersection to the roundabout. In the frame of variants, there is different possibility to solve a transformation of both pedestrians and cyclists traffic through the suggested intersection and a connection of current cul-de-sac street. Suggested parallel parking is the part of the final variant.
Evaluation of accuracy of shear formula for chosen shapes of beams
Bolcek, Jan ; Kořista, Milan (referee) ; Burša, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis pursues the judgement of accuracy of Jourawski’s formula in short beams. Assumptions, on which is Jourawski’s formula derived, are described in the theoretical part, there is also a procedure how to derive the formula. In the theoretical part is also stated a literature search on inaccuracies which are made by using Jourawski’s formula. The accuracy of Jourawski’s formula is judged by example of simply supported beam loaded with force in the middle and with cross section in the shape I. Firstly there is analytic calculation of distribution of shear stress which is then compared with calculation acquired by finite element method. By the finite element method are simulated three models of beams with different edge conditions, which are those derived from rod assumptions and the real ones. In the conclusion are compared and evaluated results from both types of calculations.
Location Study of Crossroad of Roads I/56 and II/469 in Hlučín
Škvainová, Aneta ; Cihlářová,, Denisa (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
The subject of my Master’s thesis is the variant redevelopment of intersections I/56 and II/469 in Hlučín. Both interesections are situated nearby bus terminal. Extent of adjustment obstructs the object of former granary. There are checked spatial options for adjusting both existing intersections to the roundabouts. In the frame of variants, there is a different manner of solution of structural layout of both intersections, possibility of connection of bus terminal and transfer of pedestrian traffic across designed intersections. Part of Master’s thesis is traffic survey and capacity analysis of designed intersections.
Monitoring of Underground Construction with Low Overburden
Lossmann, Jaroslav ; Ožana,, Štěpán (referee) ; Hrubešová,, Eva (referee) ; Horák, Vladislav (advisor)
Geotechnical monitoring (GTM) is an essential part of the observation method. In the principle it is the measurement and monitoring of preselected magnitudes – their changing values in the course of the constructing process and their partial evaluation. On the measured values basis the correctness of designed structures and technological processes is verified, optionally new technical and organizational measures are adopted in order to guarantee the continuous and safe constructing course. The main goal of the dissertation is to analyze the current state of the problematics and evaluate the methods of GTM in underground structures with low overburden, including suggestions and recommendations for procedures. In the framework of knowledge, practical experience and data analysis, the basic types and procedures of monitoring elements of underground structures with low overburden will be defined.
Documentation of Barová cave - southwestern part
Zubík, Tomáš ; Kuruc, Michal (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Radim (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with the documentation of the southwestern part of Barová cave. The reader is familiar with the location and its peculiarities. Part of the thesis is a detailed description of the measuring work. The measurements were made using traverse, levelling and special speleological method of detailed survey with DistoX2 instrument. Field sketch is made on a tablet in TopoDroid program. The result of the work is the ground plan, transections and cross sections in the 1: 250 scale, the JTSK coordinate system and the Bpv height system.
Sailing in Bohemia and Moravia in the context of European waterways and their development plans
Kadlček, Radek ; Vrba, Jan (referee) ; Veselý, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is dealing with waterways on the territory of the Czech Republic in the context of European waterways. In this work is described understanding the potential benefits of building new and upgrading existing waterways for the Czech Republic. In this work is a concrete proposal waterways near Kroměříž and categorization ship.
Influence of combination of simple beam loading on the safety with respect to the limit state of elasticity
Gális, Róbert ; Halabuk, Dávid (referee) ; Kubík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the influence of the combined loading for beams with different types of cross-sections in terms of the limit state of elasticity. The first part of the thesis summarizes the theoretical knowledge about simple and combined loading, the limit state of elasticity and the finite element method. Then, the safety of the limit state of elasticity is evaluated for the beams of different cross-sections by analytical calculations and numerical calculations using the finite element method.
Experimental and calculational salts' properties investigation for MSR reactors from nuclear data point-of-view
Burian, Jiří ; Ing. Miroslav Zeman, PhD., SÚJB RC Brno (referee) ; Katovský, Karel (advisor)
Nowadays there is research into molten salt reactors. The use of chlorine-based salts, which would be more available than known fluoride salts, is envisaged. The subject of research is not only the chemical and physical properties of chloride salts, but also their behavior in the neutron field and the influence of neutron balance inside the reactor. Many properties can also be determined using calculations that draw information from scientific nuclear libraries (endf). The purpose of this work is to compare important nuclear libraries with each other, and also to compare the reaction rates calculated from the library data with the reaction rates obtained by self-measurement. The preview will include a description of the necessary activities associated with the preparation of measurements, instructions for compiling the computer program NJOY and the process of the measurement itself. At the end of the work will be summarized the results and statements of which nuclear library is the closest in its values to the results of experiments.
