ASMR is a phenomena, which tries to induce a feeling of a physical touch in the viewer. It is spread mostly on the Youtube platform. His creators are primarily amateurs, who pushed this sector from the most simple videos to the half-professional level through using professional technology (very sensitive microphones, 360° shooting, using googles for virtual reality). Elicit the physical response through flm could enrich the viewer´s experience from the piece. Yet, the ASMR remains in the underground. The goal of this thesis is to describe and analyse ASMR, compare it to audio-visual media production and ask a question, whenever it is possible to induce the physical responce, with the same principals, in the animation.

City Sound Environment

This bachelor thesis about sound background of the city analyses the relationship between sound, surrounding and its inhabitants. It focuses mainly on sound (audio) abilities in context of surrounding and the tradition of sonosphere.
In the second part of this thesis the sound map of Prague is created. It offers an alternative way of perceiving and discovering a city through listening.
The purpose of this thesis is to offer residents of the city another point of view of the environment they live in. To encourage them to listen attentively in order to connect public and private space.

Noise emissions in farming chickens for fattening

The thesis is focused on the sources of noise in agricultural operations in terms of noise emissions. Agricultural operation in this case was a hall for fattening chickens for meat. The main goal is practical to measure all sources of noise generated during the various operations fattening. The work was primarily necessary to choose suitable habitats for measuring noise sources and measurements of climatic conditions. Followed by calculation of equivalent noise levels and evaluation under applicable legislation. As part of the work was proposed noise protection measures, which would partly help reduce the impact of noise emissions.

SW processing of audio formats

Bachelor thesis has an imminent focus on detailed analysis of audio processing software and their evaluation. The main goal of this work is to compare four most popular programmes used on daily basis in recording studios, which is precisely described in the theoretical part. Secondly, a brief historical development of audio processing software and a detailed list of avaible products on the market are listed. Practical part represents an analysis of convenient product purchase for start-up recording companies. Every single software is evaluaded including its pros and cons.

Gates - Sound instalation as an intersection of intermedia paradigms

This work treats about the permeation of three spheres (sound instalation, soundscape and physical computing) and their influence for creating a proper piece of art ? sound instalation The Gates. First I treat about the sound instalation from different points of view ? historical context, the work with time, sound and space, technical and visual elaboration. In the end of the first part I describe the concept of my own sound instalation The Gates. In the second part I treat about the concept of soundscape and its influence for selecting the sound material. The last part treats about physical computing as an instrument for the realization of the sound instalation The Gates and as an instrument for enlarging the possibilities of the intermedial synthesis in a more general point of view.

The major aim is to broaden the range of existing products and provide a visually apealling device with the respect of its funcionality and technical parameteres. The thesis comprises the analytical part which scans the present situation on the market, then follows the designing part, which presents variants of the design including the final one. The latter part of the thesis deals with the individual aspects of the final version.
