Possibilities of physiotherapy for children with faulty posture in middle school age
MAREŠOVÁ, Barbora
This thesis focuses on incorrect body posture of older school-age children and possibilities of physiotherapeutic methods that can be used for this particular age stage. Incorrect body posture is often included among social diseases that are to a great degree caused by lack of exercise and one-sided life style. Generally it is about remaining in static positions and decrease of physically demanding work. The aim of my work is to outline the problem involving children of this particular age range and to evaluate the influence of physiotherapeutic treatment with older school-age patients having incorrect body posture. Theoretical part of the thesis describes correct body postures, muscular chains involved in torso stabilisation, anatomy of deep stabilisation system and incorrect body posture itself. The next chapter deals with older school-age stage from somatic and motor development viewpoint. The last chapter describes physiotherapeutic methods that can be used to treat this health issue. For the empirical part of the paper I chose qualitative research method with two girls of older school-age. Each of them was instructed with a series of set exercises they were to do at home during the whole therapy time approx. 10 weeks. In addition to that, they came in for 9 sessions, during which we focused on their incorrect body posture and other acute problems they had. Short-term and long-term physiotherapeutic plan was proposed based on the anamnesis and kinesiological analysis gained at the beginning and at the end of the therapy. Examples of several exercises aimed at chosen topic are enclosed. This thesis can serve both the professional and the lay public in order to inform them about possibilities of different physiotherapeutic methods that can be used when treating incorrect body posture.

Socialization of sight disabled students from 11 to 15 years of age focusing on specifics of career choices.
SOBOTOVÁ, Kateřina
The presented bachelor thesis deals with the topic of socialization of older school-age children with visual impairment with a focus on specific features of the process to choose their profession The theoretical part consists of four chapters: the first one deals with visual impairment and its classification, the second one describes the developmental period of older school age and specific features of children with visual impairment in that period of time, the third chapter briefly deals with socialization in general and also in respect to visual impairment and the fourth, final chapter of the theoretical part focuses on the system of education and professional training of children, schoolchildren and students with visual impairment, while special attention is paid to career consulting and choice of their future profession. The general objective set for the theoretical part of this bachelor thesis is to map specific features of socialization of older school-aged children with visual impairment in respect to choice of their future profession. The objective of the practical part was to use qualitative research to reflect the current situation in career consulting for children with visual impairment in selected school and consulting establishments and to find out about notions that children with visual impairment have of their future professions and the world of labor. A qualitative method of research, specifically a structured interview technique, was used to meet the objective of the practical part, which was divided into two partial objectives. The interviews were conducted with 6 respondents in total, which included 1 worker of a school establishment, 1 worker of a consulting establishment and 4 schoolchildren with visual impairment aged 13 - 15 years. Questions for the schoolchildren were prepared based on materials used in the theoretical part and they were divided into two sections. The first section of questions concerned basic case history data of the children with visual impairment and their notions about their future profession, while the other section was in form of a didactic test which consisted of questions from the world of labor and its results were supposed to illustrate how well the children understand the world of labor. To meet the other partial objective I have also used a structured interview with a worker of a school establishment and with a teacher with a specific training from a special teaching establishment. The obtained information was processed and it has enabled brief mapping of the current situation in the career consulting for schoolchildren with visual impairment in the South Bohemian region. The qualitative research of adequacy of notions that children with visual impairment have of their future career has brought quite surprising conclusions. The research has shown that, despite severity of visual impairment and the related limitations, the notions of the respondents seemed acceptable and adequate. In respect to career consulting and professional training of those children it is obvious that they are treated in a standard manner and in the same way as healthy children, that no integrated policy is available for them and that the concerned educational establishment does not take into account specific aspects associated with visual impairment.

BLECHOVÁ, Romana
Perception of risk of drinking regime structure at basic school children. Subject of my bachelor theses deals with liquid receipt at basic school children. This work is not focussed only on quantity but especially on quality of received drinks. To follow quality of drinks, which we drink can be advantageous for individual. The first goal of my theses is to map, if children at primary school keep principles of drinking regime in sequence of General education programs for basic education and implementation of subject healthy education. According to this modification of school curriculum children schuold get information regording the problems of correct nourishment and drinking regime. The problem is if children at the age 6-15 are able to aplicate effectively this obtained onformation in the scope of their living style. The second goal of work is clearing up if children of primary school choose drinks according to their consisting. Theses are divided into two parts. Theoretical part deals with analysis of available sources about drinks and their suitability for children population. There are summarized basic rules and advises for receiving of liguids at the start of theses. Further there are charakterised particular types of drinks and their possible advantages and disadvantages for children age. Then there is description of stuffs which are compherhensive in drinks as mineral stuffs, caffeine, dyes, sweeteners and their impact to health. At the end of theoretical part there is a note about content of water in particular kinds of food-stuff, which can be significant source of liquids for some individuals. Practical part deals with analysis particular questions from questionnaire which are graphics processed as charts andhables and evaluation hypotheses by statistics functions. Research was realised os quantity research with usage guestionnaire method and it was realized in December 2013 at older school age children accindentaly chosen primary school in microregion Telečsko. The questionnaire was anonymous and consisted of 25 questions. Questionare contained demographic questions i. e. age and sex. In total amount there was distributed 190 questionnares. We received back 145 ones correctly and fully fulfilled. This is 76 % returnability. Two hypothesis werw formulated for purposes of this reserche H1: Primyry school children do not keep principles of drinking regime. H2: Keeping drinkink regime principles is not different at girls and boys. These hypothesis were statisticaly evaluated and confirmed or disprove on besic of results. The output of results is that children of primary school inspite of information availability about drinkink regime do not keep these principals. So we accept H1 hypothesis. There was not found out statisticaly significanr difference in keeping of principal of dinkink regime at particular are agreed from 93,6 %. We accept H2 hypothesis. Aim of my work was finding out if children choose drinks according to their consisting. The most preferend are carbonated drinks with natural sweeteners and dyes. The most important reason for choosing of drink is its taste, health and price. Children practicaly are not interested in consisting of drinks. The most offen they stated the answer: rather no and no, whoch create 71 % in total. Results of this work can be used to focusing of children education in the area of learning the principals of right drinking regime. The problem not keeping the rules of drinking regime could be solved by focusing of education of the youngesst children who just learn the drinking regime hebits i.e. at the start of they live. Group training in social skills of children with Asperger syndrome in older school age
SKOTÁKOVÁ, Jana
We use social skills during interactions with other people. They form an inseparable part of each of us. We first learn them from our parents, then from other people, and during our whole life, with each new experience. People with Asperger's syndrome are not able to do so. They have problems during conversation understanding elements of non-verbal communication such as gestures, proxemics, facial expressions, postures and many others. They do not understand their emotions or other people's emotions. They do not get irony. For their trustfulness and naivety they can easily become a victim to persecutors, bullies or impostors. My Bachelor's work focuses on the period of older school age. It is the time of big changes which bring certain risks. For teenagers with Asperger's syndrome, as well as for their peers, it is one of the most demanding life periods. They start to realise their dissimilarity and therefore they need more support. Group training of model situations is one possibility for them to learn to understand the basic rules of social interactions. The aim of my work was to create work lists on the basis of determined deficits in the selected group of teenagers, on the basis of observations of the whole group, discussions with SPC (Special Pedagogic Centre) employees and analyses of documentation, and to test these work lists during social skills group training in practice. The first part of my Bachelor work describes general information about particular types of autistic spectrum disorder. It also compares symptoms of children with Asperger's syndrome and children's autism in the area of social interactions and communication. At the end of the first chapter I define problems of people with Asperger's syndrome in three basic areas ? social interactions, communication and imagination. The second chapter describes individual elements of social skills. The next part is devoted to the period of older school age (pubescence), first at a general level, and then focusing on particular specifics of adolescent children with Asperger's syndrome. The final chapter highlights the increased risk of bullying for these children. The next part of my Bachelor work describes the research method which was used for this work. Social skills training for children with a mental handicap, with an extended scope of activity for caring for people with autistic spectrum disorder, was carried out at the České Budějovice SPC in Štítného Street. The selected group comprised of four clients with Asperger's syndrome who attend the second stage of the primary school in České Budějovice. The work characterises this group as well as individual clients. The practical part describes the course of each training session and reflection of the selected group. Finally I included a discussion with two parents of the children who attended the group training of social skills at SPC. During my work with the target group I realised that group training has its pros and cons and it is not always suitable for every client ? not every client is able to work in a group and individual training may be more convenient. The individuality of every client must be taken into account when creating the group. During group training with the target group I detected certain difficulties and dangers which this form of training brings, e.g. the variety of the group, an irregular number of clients, the increased number of hours with increased demands in lessons at the second stage of primary school, the different interests and demands of individual motivation for each client. Each client needs an individual method of motivation.
Media education on the second level of basic schools
KUBOUŠKOVÁ, Petra
The topic of my bachelor thesis is The Media education at the second grade of the elementary school. The theoretical part has been taken from the professional literature. It is aimed at the characteristics of the media, describes its function and influence, it defines the term media education together with the closely connected terms media literacy and logic. My thesis is dealing with the second grade of elementary schools. That is why I characterized the life stage of its learners - the older school age. The methodology chosen and the choice of the suitable method to teach the media education is based on the learners characteristics. I also touch the Overall Education Program, the School Education Program and their benefits for the learners´ personality development. To carry out the practical part of my bachelor thesis I used the quality type of the research, the questioning method, the semi-standard discussion technique. The research suite was made by the second grade elementary schools teachers in the region of České Budějovice. With the research I approached altogether 31 schools, out of which 5 schools were willing to participate in the research questioning. My research questioning consisted of 11 questions and its aim was to find out the way the media education is carried out at each school, as well as getting the teachers´ views concerning this kind of education. In the practical part I answered two research questions and the related aims. All the teachers questioned think that learners are very strongly influenced by the media, mainly the Internet and above all the Facebook. Children have problems to separate the reality and fiction and are influenced by the misleading commercials. Not only for these reasons, all the women respondents agree with implementing the media education in schools, they thing it important to make the learners familiar with the drawbacks of commercials, to teach them not to be afraid to express their views and to use the Internet effectively. The first research question has been answered: "What are the teachers´ views at the second grade of the chosen elementary schools concerning the media education" ? The target 1 has been met. As for the second research question: "What is the most widely used form of the media education at the second grade of the chosen elementary schools" ? I found out that this kind of education is mostly carried out as a cross-sectional topic integrated in other subjects. Furthermore, it is also offered as a voluntary subject connected with the drama education. Schools also use the form of the project days. Discussion is the most widely used teaching method of all the women respondents. They think it important to find a suitable method to attract the learners´ attention. Thanks to the EU regional projects the schools questioned got the interactive boards which are in use at all of them. These boards are regarded as a suitable part in education, mainly at the second grade of the elementary school. As for the learners with special educational needs, the schools do not need to alter the media education with regards to them, as there are no such learners at these schools. However they think that for these learners the media education is as important as for the others. The target 2 has been met. The research outcomes clearly show that the teachers feel the importance of the media education. They realize that today´s generation of children lives in the Internet world and that it is essential to learn how to get oriented in such world. They want to teach the learners to live with the media, use them for their benefit, not to get scared by them. An interesting finding is also the fact that the schools see the interactive boards as a very important part of education, not only regarding the media education. This thesis can be used as a source of information about the media education and includes the basic information in this field.
