Production information system of small firm

This diploma thesis deals with the issues concerning the creation a part of information system for a company that has so far been usány this information subsystems in paper form, which has been ceasing to fulfill the company's requirements and needs. Based on a current situation analysis, deficiencies of the existing information system are discovered, which might be eliminated by several proposed solutions. These proposed solutions are examined through previously chosen criteria and based on this optimalization, the optimal solution will be chosen. Furthermore, this solution will be evaluated from the economic point of view and through other perspective benefits, which the solution might bring for the company.

Information System of Technical Support

This master's thesis deals with the analysis of the requirements placed on the technical support information system which should be used in the software developing company. The basic functions of this system are the collecting of information about all kinds of work which the company employees concentrate on and the possibility of statistics generating. Moreover, it is also possible to implement further extensions to the system which will not only enable other functions, that are not related to the primary goal of the system, to be integrated; but also to define new user roles, for which various limited parts of the system will be accessible.

Development of Information System for Student Organization

The main theme of presented thesis is a research conducted in purpose of finding the best possible software application for supporting event management in student organization, event management in particular. In order to achieve the goal of my thesis I analyzed the operations model of two different student clubs, operating at University of Economics in Prague. After the analysis, I carried out market research in order to find the best possible fit. Because of the fact, that I did not find any suitable solution, I proposed a construction of new information system. The following development of proposed web application is also part of this thesis. For building the solution, I used number of different technologies, mainly ASP.NET MVC and Microsoft Azure. The final application has contributed to day-to-day efficiency of Bussiness IT Club.

Design and implementation of IS for credit collection

This thesis deals with credit collection information system design and implementation. The thesis consists of three parts. The first part looks into invoice administration, credit collection, and trends of dedicated information systems. The second part analyzes a solution currently supporting credit collection processes in a selected consulting company. The last part contains a design and an implementation of a new solution for this company. The main out-come of this thesis is to create an easily extensible credit collection solution.

The basic facts and concepts connected with the field of information systems and application life cycle are summarized at the beginning of thesis. The core of the thesis is analyse of current information system in organization at tertiary sector. Based on the results of analysis, the model of new information system is created. Part of the models are implemented by web services by framework Nette. At the end, there is deployment of web application and assessment of the benefits of thesis results.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is the design and implementation of an information system for chosen company from the service sector. Basic concepts from the field of information systems and software development are explained at the beginning. The core of the thesis consists in the design of the information system based on the analysis of the company and on the system requirements specification. The description of the implementation and used implementation tools follows, and the thesis ends with an evaluation of costs and benefits of the designed solution.
