Roofing of the New Apartment Building in Rajhrad

Content of this bachelor’s thesis is solving of technological stage of roofing of the new apartment building in Rajhrad. Roof is designed as a cold mono-pitched roof consists of metal plate-connected timber truss. Detailed procedure of assembly of the bearing timber structure and the roof sheathing is provided in specifications. Control and test plans, budget and schedule are elaborated for stage of the building roofing. The bachelor’s thesis contains technical report of the building, suggested construction site installations, proposal of suitable machines and mechanisms required for the given stage, further it solves wider relations of transport lines to construction site and occupational safety and health.
Family house

The aim of my bachelors project is to design a family house and work out the project documentation. The building lot is located on the border of the Brno´s quarter Žebětín, in the region of South Moravia. The building site with a trapezoid shape is slightly inclined and is not built-up yet. The entrance into the house is faced to the north and the terrace is oriented to the south. The construction is made in the “two by four” system with diffusion-open walls. The building with nearly T-shaped plan is topped with pitched roof. The house has two storey, one of which in the attic space and no basement, a single garage is also included. The house is designed for a four-member family.
Ecological House

The Bachelor thesis is a project of detache house. The house design i a two-storey, wooden bulding with gable roof and with out basement. Layout is 5+KK and is responsible design for family with 4 members. It is the construction of diffusion-close timber, based on strip foundation and pernament formwork. Floor plan is rectangular. Building the entire system is designed by STEICO elements, including STEICO thermal insulation. The advantages of the building are relatively small thickness of external walls with excelent thermal properities and fast process of construction. The house is designed with a view to sustainable construction using modern environmentally friendly materials. The house is situated in the village Křenovice u Slavkova.
Family Residence

The subject of this thesis is a structural solution of a two-storey single-family detached house located on parcel no. 149 in the cadaster area of Hodkovičky. The house is situated in a moderately sloped terrain in a residential area where most of the surrounding objects are also detached houses and it is primarily designed as a timber structure. Other construction materials such as concrete or sand-lime masonry are also used within the project at those parts of the building where we can benefit from their different structural and physical properties. The project documentation was completely developed using Building Information Modeling method (BIM).
House of Beauty Salon

The bachelor thesis deals with the design of a family house with a beauty salon. The object is a detached two-storey building with a flat roof and a basement and it gives home to five people. The garage and the parking lot for the clients of the salon are also part of the object. The main entrance into the building is situated to the west and the separate entrance for the clients of the salon to the north. The construction system of the house consists of solid wooden CLT (cross laminated timbre) based panels from the Novatop company. The structure is based on foam glass, as by its´ use there is no need for further isolation of the building from the base plate, which is made of steel reinforced concrete. Thanks to good land selection, there were no problems with underground water or possible damage to neighbouring buildings.
Wooden Based Detached House of Tykalovi - Stary Sedlonov

The subject of this thesis is two-storey wooden basement house with a garage for one car in the cadastral area Starý Sedloňov. The House is designed with the view of surrounding buildings and the location. The House will be used for living of a family of four members. The plan view of the House is almost rectangular. The main entrance and the driveway to the House is at 1st floor level. The vertical walls are formed by a wooden frame with thermal insulation sheathed on both sides of gypsun boards. The ceiling structure is made of wooden beams with embedded insulation. The main part of the House forms a gabled roof. Over the other parts of the House is a roof with a minimum slope. The project was prepared by a computer program called ArchiCAD.
The timber roof structure of the hotel in Velké Karlovice

The aim of my thesis is to assess the roofing design of the mountain hotel, situated on the Great Karlovic, at an altitude of 512 metres above sea level. The height of the structure is 12.0m whilst the base is 12x24m. The first floor is constructed using brick, whilst the second floor and the attic is designed as a timber structure. The roof truss structure has a traditional framework of that time period.

This bachelor thesis concerns a design of two floors family residence located in Zlín, Chlum on a parcel number 428/11 in the cadaster region of Zlín. The design if the residence includes the architectural, structural and technical solution according the investor’s requirements. The object is designed as timber frame structure with flat extensive green roof. The goal of the design was to create a residence with very low ecological impact during the construction process and with minimal ecological impact during its lifetime usage.
The Roofing of the Sport Hall

The main purpose of this work is a design of timber frame roofing structure for multi-purpose sports hall. The building has rectangular shape 50 meters long, 35 meters wide and 16 meters high. Main support element is glulam timber two-hinged arch. Structure consists of glued laminated timber elements, as well as solid-sawn timber and steel ones. This document includes design, internal force enumertion ans structural assessment, including joints. Dlubal RFEM 5 structural analysis and design software has been utilized in the process. Drawings of the structure are enclosed.
Timber load bearing structure of a hotel building

The bachelor’s thesis deals with the design and assessment of the timber load bearing structure of a hotel building in Kouty nad Desnou, Jeseníky, at an altitude of 606 metres above sea level. The object has a rectangular shape with dimensions approximately 36x16m. The lower part of the structure is designed as a two-floor heavy frame and an attic. The columns are designed as swinging angles, and stiffening is solved by a set of bracings and struts. The roofing of the object is solved by purlin truss system with a triple vertical stool. The emphasis is placed on the use of commercially available timber beams. The sheathing of the structure will be solved by Fermacell gypsum boards.
