Risks of Order Processing in the Selected Company

The diploma thesis deals the risk management during order processing in the engineering company Balák stroje Tišnov Ltd., a producer of custom machines. The aim of the diploma theses is to identify and evaluate the risks that may arise during the order processing. A partial aim is to propose a list of recommendations to minimize the most serious risks. The thesis is divided into three parts, where the first part of the thesis is focused on theoretical basis. The second part – analytical part contains the introduction of the company, the research part, description of the order processing and risks identification and evaluation, using selected methods – FMEA and Ishikawa diagram. The last part contains proposals for mitigating the most serious risks.

Use of laser machines for metal cutting technology

This bachelor thesis deals with laser cutting technology and its use in industry. A large part of the work consists of theoretical research, dealing with the characteristics of individual types of laser machines and their use for industrial applications, especially for metal cutting. Furthermore, the work is focused on the theory of this technology and suitable materials. The work also deals with two companies, which represent typical use of a laser machine. In the experimental part of this thesis the manufacturing process of component is created based on a survey of the use of laser machines.

The aim of this thesis is to assess the usefulness of the methods used in accordan-ce with international standards and their subsequent modification to the needs of the voluntary audit of an entity which specifies on production of software. The work is divided into two main parts, in first I set the work objectives, I characteri-ze the audit activity and audit phases. I will also characterize the specifics of audi-ted firm. In the second part, I will perform an audit in line with international audi-ting standards, through which I will answer the stated work objectives. I will pro-vide recommendations for the audited company.

The main goal of the thesis is a proposal of an effective method of a cost calculation of made-to-order production in engineering company, which is based on characteristics of particular types of calculations and analysis of a made-to-order production in the selected company. The thesis contains four main parts: First, a theoretical part is dealing with costs and their classification, calculations, classification of calculation methods and classification of calculation formulas. The second part introduces the engineering company, in which the issues related to the definitions of terms are located, the separation of a production based on its focus, its arrangement and the definition of made-to-order manufacturing with its description. The third part is concerning over the selected company, which contains its description and description of orders and an approximate description of the manufacturing process. The fourth part contains the provisions on the contract and its costs, when it changes into the description of the calculation methodology with the resulting proposal of the calculation formula of the made-to-order production. This diploma thesis is focused on the study of the risks in order processing in confectionery company. The order is implemented in manufacturing company named MLSNÁ HOLKA. The company is specialized on the production of confectionery products such as donuts and macaroons. The first part of the thesis is focused on theoretical basis. The second part includes introducing of the company and their products, analysis of the order processing (beginning from receipt of demand from customer to production and to the shipment of the final product). Final part will include proposed changes to improve the whole order processing in the company.

The Suggestion of Optimal Supply Process for New Orders

The topic of diploma thesis was implemented in selected mechanical engineering company producing precision parts in small series. The main aim of the thesis is to create the suggestion of optimal supply process for new orders. The first part of thesis describes the company, area of its business and the processes of the order. In second part, the production analysis is carried out: production order path, production analysis for two reference parts, comparison of all time delay over two last years, find bottlenecks in the supply process. Base on analysis, theoretical approaches was described. In the last chapter there are suggestions for improvement of supply processes and thus shortening of production time of new orders.

Improving labour productivity: How to determine standard time for performing specific tasks in the selected organization

This bachelor thesis focuses on the standard time needed for specific tasks in the selected organization, as well as on the appropriate methods for its determination. The findings serve as a basis for the formulation of measures which should be taken to improve labour productivity. The methods include the standardization of tasks, time study and computer-based data analysis (Microsoft Excel spreadsheets). The theoretical part of the paper discusses the nature of job production, the methods appropriate for the calculation of standard production time and the ways to ensure efficient work and time management in the given factory. Apart from these, a complete description (history, facility layout, pre-production and production stages, machines and materials) of the selected organization is provided to serve as a background for the case study presented in the practical part. This includes the list of production tasks, production time tables and time standards along with materials necessary to facilitate production. The aim of the thesis is to help the organization improve its labour productivity and provide it with the algorithm which can be used to determine production time for similar orders.
