The subject of this thesis, called Description of Machine Tool Spindles, is research and description of spindles used as parts of machine tools. The first part is devoted to the factors influencing the construction of the spindle and to the general division of spindle types according to their construction. The second part lists specific examples of spindles made by selected manufacturers along with a detailed descriptions of the individual spindles.

The second part includes preliminary proposal, necessary calculations and valorization of the final solution including an analysis of constructional, technological and economical aspects of the grinding spindle and all assembly. This thesis also includes a 3D model created with Autodesk Inventor Professional 2015 and drawing documentation.

The final part deals with the calculation of necessary parameters, the verification of results using the finite element method and the construction of the proposed headstock. Based on the designed construction is created 3D model and drawing documentation.

The subject of this bachelor’s thesis is the design of a drilling machine. The first part consists of a research in the field of drilling machines from the point of view of their construction. The second part focuses on the design of the spindle according to the selected parameters, including the necessary calculations. The thesis includes spindle assembly drawing and 3D model created with Autodesk Inventor 2012 software.
Designe of spindel for miling centre

The thesis deals with the design and construction of the spindle of the milling centre. The aim of the thesis is to design an indirect drive spindle with an output power of about 25 kW and a tool interface HSK 63. In the design part, first the selection of the drive method and spindle mounting is made. The selected structural design is then elaborated in detail using the necessary structural calculations supported by strength-deformation and modal FEM analysis. The output of this work is a 3D model of the spindle and drawings of the selected nodes.

This master´s thesis deals with the design of a cartridge spindle for milling machines. The aim of the work is to design a spindle with a power of 15 kW, which allows the automatic exchange of tools with ISO interface. In the beginning, the thesis deals with the description of the individual components related to the construction of machine tools spindle. A spindle design concept is chosen, for which a number of calculations were made concerning the structure itself. Based on the proposed design, a 3D model and drawing documentation were made.
