Porovnávání růstu a stavby těla chladnokrevných hřebců
BALOUŠKOVÁ, Lidmila
The thesis deals with the comparison of growth and physique of the draught-horse stallions. There are three main draught-horse breeds in the Czech Republic - Noriker, Silesian Noriker and Bohemian-Moravian Belgian horse. Currently, the amount of these draugt-horses decrease significantly and we should pay more attention to their preservation. In total, 45 Bohemian-Moravian Belgian stallions, 16 Silesian Norikers and 12 Norikers were involved in the monitoring. The stallions were measured in the age between 6 months and 2,5 years. During the measurement, the basic body size, main size and body weight were measured and selected body indexes were calculated. The measurement took place in Humňany (Zemský hřebčinec Písek, s.p.o.), in Janovice u Trutnova (Chov koní Dvorka) and in Proseč pod Křemešníkem (Farma Hrnčíř). All the body sizes collected at the age of 2,5 years were in accord with the sizes required for the acceptance of the stallions to studbooks (except for circumference of foreshank of the Bohemian-Moravian Belgian breed).
Habitatové preference skorce vodního (\kur{Cinclus cinclus}) na tocích okresu Tachov.
LIŠKA, Martin
In the first part of the thesis, the number of breeding pairs of the White-throated Dipper on the watercourses of Tachov district in western Bohemia was monitored and their distribution was examined. In the second part, characteristics (chemical, physical, geographical, quantity and quality of prey) of occupied territories and reference plots were examined and the preferences of the Dipper were examined. In the third part, correlations between body characteristics of birds and quantity of prey in the territory were examined.
Růst chladnokrevných hřebců v průběhu odchovu
RAJŠLOVÁ, Jana
The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the growth of cold-blooded stallions in pig breeding test rearing houses. The Czech Republic has set up three pig breeding test rearing houses. A total of 96 stallions were measured with 14 body measurements and they were also weighed whilst alive. Statistically significant differences were detected between breeds as well as between age groups when evaluating the intensity of growth of all measured body size and body weight. In most body sizes there were the biggest Silesian Norics horses (SN). At the age of two and a half years they stagnated growth in chest circumference, the circumference of the tibia and sternum height, even though it is stated in the Rules and Regulation of breeding book that SN mature between 5-6 years of age. During the evaluation there were no statistically significant differences between rearing houses. Stallions from the rearing house of Proseč prevailed in growth usually at the beginning of rearing, and later stallions from the rearing house of Dvorka at the age of one and a half year grew most. Stallions in the rearing house of Humňany had the lowest WHS, WHT and CC. The smallest variances of individual body size from the three studied cold-blooded breeds were detected by the CzechMoravian Belgian horse (CMB). This breed can therefore be regarded as the most well bred. The greatest value of the index body frame, the index heights in the crisis as well as index of severity were found in the breed SN. On the other hand CMB reached the lowest values in the above-mentioned indices and also in the index of boniness. Norick horses (N) have the most massive skeleton. In the scope of the height index of the sternum there was prevailed CMB at the beginning of rearing, but at the age of year and a half they began reaching a higher value N. Anthropometric research of the adult population and its applications in interiors and architecture
Kovařík, Martin ; Petelen, Ivan (referee) ; Hronský, Michal (referee) ; Doc.Ing.Veronika Kotradyová,PhD. (referee) ; Šindlar, Jiljí (advisor)
This thesis focuses on research in the field of anthropometric measurements of the adult population, its history, basic concepts and research itself, conducted under the author’s leadership of the NIS project at the Mendel University in Brno. The research results and its application in the field of interiors and furniture should be used to revise the architectural patterns and standards dealing with the relations on the axis between man – interior – furniture. It describes the relations of individual parameters, a person's height and weight, their development depending on age and sex, compares the height curve growth in Czech population and in Europe. The results of the work should serve as a basis for revising the existing typological principles and standards with regard to new results; in conclusion the author proposes conceptual changes of the fixed schemes in relations of man and interior.
Evaluation number and quality of offspring stallions Silesian noriker
BARTOKOVÁ, Markéta
The Silesian noriker is an original Czech breed of a coldblooded horse whose stud book was approved by the Ministry of Agriculture in 1995.The Silesian noricker is a strong coldblooded horse with a relatively less harmonious body structure used at present not only in agriculture and forestry but also for rehabilitation and recreation purposes. The aim of the diploma work was to work out a list of information about stud horses being in the contemporary stud as noted down in the stud book. Besides, the work focuses at proving a possible existence of the differences between the outcome of the evaluation of the exterior, performance tests and the characteristic features inherited by the descendants of the stallions. Moreover, the main aim of the work was to find out if there are individuals among stud stallions which have sufficient number of descendants being able to provide an objective evaluation of heredity control. Studbook Silesian noriker recorded 44 sires, of which only 23 subjects had descendants in breeding; the number was 266 individuals. The stud book of the SN kept files of 44 stud stallions out which only 23 individuals had descendants in stud, whose number was 266. The data for the purpose of the analysis have been based on the records in the stud books of the association of the unions of horse breeders: body measurements, evaluation of the exterior and the results of the performance tests. All the data have been presented and evaluated both in charts and graphs. In conclusion, stallions having 10 and more descendants have been evaluated in detail and the results of the latter have been compared with the average ones of SN in stud. The analysis has proved that only 68% of the whole number of descendants is represented by those written in the stud book of SN. The average body measurements were: stick withers 159,07 cm; tape withers 170,88 cm, chest perimeter 204,85 cm, shin perimeter 23,20 cm. The evaluation of the exterior showed the average result 7,47 points. The final result of the performance tests was 7, 47 points. According to the detailed analysis, out of 75 descendants only 44% belonged to SN. The Top rated offspring (exterior 7,76 and results performance tests 8,03) had of stallion Steiman 2885
Zhodnocení exteriéru plemene moravský teplokrevník
Brabcová, Jana
The presented thesis deals with the evaluation exterior of Moravian warm-blooded horse breed. The aim of the study was to evaluate the effect of statistical five selected effects (year of birth, sex, breed, breeder district headquarters, district headquarters of the owner) for five of the variables, which were points of evaluation "ZZUV" a basic body dimensions measured on the breed MT. The research began by defining comparable basis in the breadth of breeding individuals born between 1980 -- 2009 and registered to 1. 1. 2014 PK MT. It was about 200 breeding mares and 24 stallions. This was followed by the collection of necessary data using Microsoft Excel 2010. This was specifically about gender, year of birth, belonging to the breed, the number of points obtained in "ZZUV" values of body measurements, "PG" %, the highest performance achieved offspring of horses and monitored their color. This data were compiled statistical program continues Unistat 5.1 for Excel using the general linear model with fixed variables (GLM) and statistically significantly affected variables were forwarded to the multiple comparison method of Scheffe effects. All data were then divided into groups and compiled in tables and graphs. They represent the fair value and the percentage achievement on the one hand the whole population, but also compared gender stallions and mares.
Analýza stavby končetin a kopyt koní využívaných v agroturistice v České republice
Bojková, Lenka
Aim of this diploma thesis was to analyze the conditions of limbs and hooves of the horses in agrotourist businesses in the Czech Republic. In the first part of the analysis, the conditions of breeding (stabling type, work intensity, ground and surface of the riding halls, care of hooves) and study of these horses (number of horses, age, breed, numbers of geldings and mares) were evaluated. These values were then recorded into the prepared form. In the other part of the analysis, the ground measuring followed. Four basic parameters were measured and evaluated: posture of the forelimbs and its discrepancies, posture of the hindlimbs and its discrepancies, angle and defects of fore hooves, angle and defects of the hind hooves). From these four basic parametres, 32 various differentiations were assessed, whilst not all of them were present at the measured population of the horses. Those values were statistically processed and compared in the Unistat program. During the evaluation of particular bodily proportions, an effect of six factors was assessed: effect of breed, sex, age, way of trimming hooves, intensity of trimming hooves, and effect of stabling type. The highest rate of statistically conclusive effects was detected at the age effect, which was statistically conclusive to affect six differentiations and significantly statistically affected one differentiation. Also effect of the breed highly affected the measured parameters. Statistically conclusive effect was detected at two measured differentiations. Statistically significantly conclusive effect was detected at four more differentiations. The effect of sex, way and intensity of trimming hooves and stabling type was not that considerable, but still yielded some measured values.
Distribution and exploitation of friesian horses in the Czech Republic
BARTOKOVÁ, Markéta
The friesian horse comes from the north of the Netherlands, from where it began to be imported after 1990. In 1996, the greatest merit in the development of its breeding in the Czech Republic was due to the stud in Pecinov near Benešov. The Friesian horse hase been bred in three types, the most frequent of which is the medium (universal) one. At its age of 3, the friesian horse hase to filfill a few preconditions to be included in the breed. These are, in the thirst place, its exteriér, wals of gait and the documentation of its origin. The main breeding book is kept in the Netherlands, while in this country there exists only an association registering the friesian horses within the Czech Repulick. The friesian horse is used in the dressage, harness, recreation and shows. The baccalaureate work deals with the distribution and use of the friesian horse on the territory of CR. By means of biometrical methods invidual horses have been measured in order to find out data about ther physiognomy and futher use. In 2012, 601 friesian horses were bred in the CR, mostly represented by mares (406). The basic body measurements of 53 horses have been taken. The average stick withers were 164,1 cm (stallions), 160,9 cm (mares) and 163,7 cm (geldings). This measurement is the only one which is the key for the horse to be entered into the breeding book. It has been found out that most horses are used for recreational sport.
