Infotainment unit for car
Musil, Roman ; Burian, František (referee) ; Ligocki, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design device which extended functionalities of on-board computer. The thesis first deals research of available single board computers and then selecting the appropriate touch screen, then analyzing the communication protocol which is used to communication between devices. Further, the thesis deals design architecture of system, creating a graphic interface and archiving telemetry data. Subsequently, deals creation of an interface that allows the visualization of archived data on a desktop computer. And finally, the implementation of online vehicle monitoring through the GSM module. The conclusion summarizes obtained information and the results achieved.
Android application for clinical assessment of patients
Rusnák, Daniel ; Galáž, Zoltán (referee) ; Mekyska, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a system for digitizing the process of clinical testing of patients with neurological diseases in the form of test questionnaires. The system consists of three applications that together form a functional system to help doctors work efficiently and speed up their work.
Data storage system for area of civil aviation
Kotulič, Dominik ; Novák, Lukáš (referee) ; Šteffan, Pavel (advisor)
In the thesis the design of the Data Storage System (DSS) is proposed with the respect to the V-Model methodology. The design is based on users requirements, from which the system requirements are created and the technical specification of the DSS is developed. In the technical specifications the functionality of the DMM and HMI DSS subsystems are described and sub-system requirements are assigned to them, then they are subdivided and assigned to individual DMM (Data memory module) and HMI hardware items. Moreover, requirements are analyzed on hardware items, specific electronic components, are selected and implemented into the block design of the DMM hardware. Based on the block design of hardware, the hardware of the DMM subsystem is designed, selectively simulated and implemented along with the printed circuit board. On the implemented hardware of the DMM subsystems measurements are performed in order to verify the basic functionality of the hardware and the calculated, assimilated and measured values are compared as well. At the end of the thesis there is a short description of the implementation of the software design and its use for basic initialization of the selected processor, together with the verification of its basic function - measuring the frequency of the internal clock sources and the clock domains. The work is completed by sending a message of defined parameters to the selected communication line and sapling it by an oscilloscope, so that the basic function of the DMM subsystem is verified.
Effect of nutrients deficiencies on root architecture and growth of winter wheat
Rattanapichai, W. ; Klem, Karel
The study of the effects of N, P, K deficiencies on root architecture and growth was tested in phenotyping platform with winter wheat (Bohemia variety). The experiment was arranged with 4 treatments: Complete nutrient, Without N, Without P and Without K. The root were grown on the surface of vertically fixed black filter paper sheets (30x60cm), covered from both sides by black plastic sheets (PVC-P). The system was setup with a micro-irrigation channel in the top of sheets to ensure circulation of hydroponic medium as hydroponic system. Eighteen days after transplanting, we took the root images by the standard RGB digital camera. To evaluate the root architecture parameters the "SmartRoot" software was used. The results showed that nutrient deficiency had effect on root architecture of winter wheat. N deficiency increase in total seminal root and lateral root length and root/shoot ratio, while P deficiency resulted in increase of mean root diameter, total root area when compared to the control. N deficiency also decreased root and shoot dry weight and total leaf area. However, nutrient deficiency slightly decreased lateral density. There was a slight effect of K deficiency on root architecture when compared to the complete nutrient application. The increasing of leaf dry weight was related with the increased of root dry weight.
Analysis and Design of e-Learning Information System
Štacha, Jan ; Eysselt, Miloš (referee) ; Kreslíková, Jitka (advisor)
This thesis is focused on IBM Rational Unified Process methodology, which represents complex and robust aproach to software development and software lifecycle. This methodology is well described and every step of software lifecycle is predictible. Thats the reason why is becoming used in many software development organizations. The main goal of this thesis is deep description of this methodology and creation common outputs of inception and elaboration phase of e-learning information system. IBM Rational Unified Process is called use-case driven aproach, thats the reason why is emphasized descripton of all use-cases.
Distributed System for School Register of Basic and Secondary Schools
Martiš, Viktor ; Ryšavý, Ondřej (referee) ; Ráb, Jaroslav (advisor)
One of the software success condition on the software market is permanent development to keep in condition with actual technical tools. That is the reason why SAS software is searching for a way how to fulfil customer's requirements better. The change to the distributed system architecture brings new opportunities and sets up competitive advantage for SAS concurrently. The subject of this thesis is to create the design of movement to the distributed system. The main reason is to make analysis, design and partial implementation meeting functional requirements of the new architecture.
