The purpose of this Diploma Thesis is the construction design of the steam-boiler for the combustion of biomass – wood pellets. For the specified parameters have been defined stoichiometric calculations and calculations enthalpy burnt gas. In sequence, there is designed and solved the configuraion of the steam-boiler, so that the result design and the number of the heat-delivery surfaces can be determined, in dependence on the required inlet parametres of the air and outlet parametresof the water vapour. These parametres mean the amount, the temparature and the pressure. The aim of the thesis is to make a design of the steam.boiler burning biomass according to the set parametres. This very ecological fuel can really substitute the fossil fuel and friendly respect the environment.
Design of Steam Boiler

This thesis is focused on design of black coal combustion boiler of 160t/h output. It consists of several parts. First, stechiometric calculations and enthalpy of air and gas are made, then heat balance of boiler and the boiler losses are calculated, and also thermal efficiency is determined. In next step, the combustion chamber is designed and its thermal calculation is made. Then, each of heating surfaces are designed, and in the last step overall energy balance of the boiler is checked. The scheme of pressure system and design documentation added.
Changing the fuel base of the coal boiler

This thesis deals with the change of the fuel base of a coal boiler due to the reduction of CO2 emissions and its thermal recalculation. In the first part, there is implemented calculation of the combusting chamber. This is followed by the recalculation of the heat transfer surfaces. The emphasis is placed on the preservation of the exsiting steam parametrs.

The master's thesis describes the design of the steam boiler, which burns biomass with heat output of 6 MW. The required parameters of the steam are a temperature of 300 °C and a pressure of 2,5 MPa. The thesis is gradually devoted to stoichiometric calculations through heat losses and boiler efficiency, to the design of the combustion chambre, heat exchangers and pressure losses. Part of the thesis is drawing documentation of the boiler.

The work deals with design of steam grate boiler with a output of 25 t/h, parameters of steam output p = 5.5 MPa, t = 475 °C and a temperature of feed water 105 °C. It is a boiler with natural water circulation by evaporation surfaces. Wood biomass is boiler fuel. The proposal consists of stoichiometric calculations, determination of boiler efficiency, thermal calculations and determinion geometric parameters of the boiler and its heat transfer surfaces. The boiler drawing is a part of the work.

The aim of this thesis is design a grate steam boiler for burning straw with an output of 10 tons of steam per hour. The produceds team has parameters 320 °C, 3,2 MPa. For a given fuel (fytomass) is calculated stoichiometric calculation. The following is the calculation of the heat balance of the boiler including the determinativ of thermal efficiency. The fuel used, the required parameters of steam and feed water temperature are designed individual convective surfaces and dimensions of the boiler. The boiler design includes drawings.
Grate Boiler for Biomass Combustion

The thesis deals with the design of a grate steam boiler which has natural circulation and is determined for combustion of wood chips. The boiler has a capacity of 45 t/h and produces superheated steam with the output parameters of 3,5 MPa and 450 °C at the 125 °C feed water temperature. Stoichiometric calculations and the flue gases enthalpy calculations are based on the composition of the specified fuel. The efficiency and fuel consumption of the boiler is also determined. The thesis mainly focuses on the thermal calculation and geometric design of the individual heat transfer surfaces of the boiler. The drawing documentation of the steam boiler is available in the attachment of the thesis.

This thesis deals with a project of steam boiler to combustion of refused-derived fuel. With respect of required fuel and output parameters of the steam was worked out stoichiometry, energy loss and boiler efficiency, heat flows was allocate to individual heat exchange surfaces. The heat exchange surfaces was calculate and project in detail.
Comparison of calculation of steam boiler efficiency

This bachelor's thesis contains a comparative calculation of the indirect efficiency of the steam boiler. The calculation will be performed by two existing standards in the Czech Republic. At the beginning is the description of power plant and steam boiler. Following part includes a theoretical introduction to the issue of efficiency. The idea of this work is to identify any differences between the two standards and comparison results of calculation.
