Personal Specifics of Leading of High-tech Companies

The Master´s thesis deals with specifics of personal leadership or management in companies with advanced technologies, called high-tech. Using questionnaire investigation in addition to structured interview is analyzed situation in personal area in the high-tech company . Theoretical part defines high-tech sector, describes activities and purpose of personal unit and modern conception of development of human resources. Below is entertained about influence of corporate culture on the strategy of human ressource development. Comparison of branches’ positions in field of high-tech industry in Czech Republic and the USA: HEWLETT-PACKARD,Ltd.

This paper deals with a comparison of branch offices' position in the field of high-tech industry in the Czech Republic and the USA on the example of HEWLETT-PACKARD, Ltd. The paper includes the description of an innovative environment for high-tech entrepreneurship in the Czech Republic and the USA and the comparison of the specific branches' position on the markets of those countries. Thesis consists of two parts, theoretical and practical. The first part embraces the information about the significance of the high-tech technology, the definition of high-tech sector and high-tech entrepreneurship and the characteristics of the innovative environment in the selected countries. The practical part includes the comparison of the branches' position of Hewlett-Packard on the Czech and the U.S. markets and analysis which is based on the conclusion from the comparison. The goal of this thesis is to collect the information regarding the high-tech sector and innovative environment of the selected courtiers into a consistent whole, and to analyze the specific branches' position of the company, which is operating in this area

This work deals with the creation of value-ethical base in western civilization, which is determined by the exponential development in the field of science and technology, economy and society. This brings new characteristics and requirements for streamlining existence of each individual. Despite the definition of critical spheres in the life of man influenced by such turbulent changes passes work on the analysis of indidvidual integration into surrounding reality, and finally gets to the very creation of ethical standards, their sources and search capabilities to the positive changes in this field.
