Problematics of active compounds recrystalization in pharmaceutical preparations
Máčalík, Tomáš ; Holas, Ondřej (advisor) ; Vraníková, Barbora (referee)
1 Abstract Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradci Králové Department of: Pharmaceutical technology Consultant: PharmDr. Ondřej Holas, Ph.D. Student: Tomáš Máčalík Title of Thesis: Problematics of active compounds recrystalisation in pharmaceutical preparations The topic of the thesis is the recrystallization of active substances in pharmaceutical preparations. The aim of this work is to demonstrate this phenomenon on a real particular pharmaceutical product, in which it has occurred. It includes a detailed description of the manufacturing process including all mandatory conditions, possible critical points, investigations and measures taken. The thesis consists of two parts. The first describes in details the current state of knowledge. It is based on the findings of the available literature on the subject. The basic concepts of crystallization and polymorphism are explained in detail, which form the basis for the subsequent case study. The case study includes a detailed description of a specific medicinal product. Subsequently, it's production, good manufacturing practice and gradual investigation of the discovered technological incompatibility are explained step by step. The result of the work points out that the issue of recrystallization and polymorphism is very closely related to...
Optimization of types, granulometry and fine particle shape for special concrete
Jobánek, Jaromír ; Hela,, Vlastimil (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on optimization of particle size distribution using concrete additions. To design a concrete of excellent properties, it is often necessary to achieve a higher packing density of the mixture by designing a suitable particle size distribution curve. Concrete with special properties and various types of powder additions are also described.
Study of the grindability of the clinker minerals
Červinková, Lenka ; Všianský,, Dalibor (referee) ; Dvořák, Karel (advisor)
The thesis deals with the influence of free various technological grinding processes of pure clinker minerals. The goals is to synthetically prepare pure clinker minerals and monitor the effect of the duration of the grinding process and monitor the impact of grinding technology on their crystallinity. A laser granulometry and XRD analysis are used for evaluation.
Data on Quantities, Qualities, Treatment and Disposal Practices of MSW Incineration Residues in the Czech Republic.
Šyc, Michal ; Krausová, Aneta ; Kameníková, Petra ; Samusevich, Oleg
To assess the resource recovery potential of BA in the Czech Republic, it was necessary to obtain the information about its material composition. We analysed in total 6 samples from all three WtE plants in the Czech Republic. It was found that raw BA contains 10–23 % of glass, 2–5 % of ceramics, 10–16 % of magnetic fraction, 6–11 % of ferrous scrap, and around 1.3–2.8 % of non-ferrous metals. Lower glass or NFe content was found in WtE plant co-incinerating commercial waste. The contents of individual components were also studied with respect to the granulometry. Most of the glass was found in size fractions between 6 and 20 mm. Ceramics and porcelain were mainly found in particles over 15 mm. The content of ferrous scrap increased with increasing particle size. Nonferrous metals were nearly equally spread into all size fractions.

Optimizing the composition of micro concrete admixtures.
Juříková, Denisa ; Křížová, Klára (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to summarize knowledges related to the use of fine-grained admixtures in cement composites. By utilizing of these admixtures it is possible to achieve extreme properties, especially high strenght and durability of concrete. These properties can be achieved by optimizing the density of the binder and filler in range of 0 to 0,25 mm. Therefore, large part of thesis is focused on admixtures and its effect on concrete. The experimental part of the thesis deals with optimization od selected admixtures in combination with cement to achieve the minimum of the voids and their compressive strenght were determined at 1, 3, 7, 28 and 60 days.
Research of effective use and activation of activ concrete additions
Mikhailova, Olesia ; Ťažký, Tomáš (referee) ; Hela, Rudolf (advisor)
The theoretical part describes the admixtures that are used in cement replacement. Here also summarizes the findings on the influence of granulomentry, grain shape and fineness of admixtures on the density of the cement matrix. The practical part is experimentally verified the influence of fineness admixtures and grain size on the mechanical properties of concrete. Also, the rheological properties of cement are compared with admixtures depending on the type and dosage and time.
