Possibility influencing of hypermobility old school childrens.
PILOUSEK, Miloš
The topic of this bachelor's thesis is hypermobility. The theoretical part is dealing with hypermobility in general. On the other hand the practical part is focused on constitutional hypermobility affecting older school age children. The theoretical part describes the musculoskeletal system followed by a definition of hypermobility and hypermobility syndrome. Next section divides hypermobility into groups and is further dealing with examination and influencing hypermobility. The last section of the theoretical part is dedicated to viable physiotherapeutic methods and concepts which can be applied to treat hypermobile individuals. The aim of the theoretical part was to piece together a text that would manage to complexly summarize information about hypermobility. Both czech and english-written literary sources were used. The practical part focused on two hypermobile probands of older school age. It attempted to reduce the risk of the probands developing functional disorders in the future by selecting and applying appropriate therapy and education. Each of the two probands underwent eight individual therapies. Therapeutic methods of hypermobility syndrome treatment were used. The result was a notable improvement of overall condition of the probands. This was confirmed during final examination. It was also confirmed that hypermobility cannot be directly therapeutically influenced. Both probands agreed the therapy was beneficial and raised their awareness of hypermobility. Objectively speaking it is complicated to evaluate the end results. It would require a long-term research to obtain data proving the benefit of such therapy. This work could be followed up by researching whether preventive physiotherapeutical therapy of older school age children actually diminishes the risk of future development of functional disorders associated with hypermobility.

Attribution, attributional styles and dimension of internality - externality in psychosomatic patients
Nováková, Martina ; Niederlová, Markéta (referee) ; Štětovská, Iva (referee)
The thesis deals with attribution, attributional styles and dimension of internality-externality in psychosomatic patients. The text is divided into a theoretical part and an empirical part. The term psychosomatic disorder is defined in the theoretical part. The essential links between psychosomatic disorder, stress and cognitive processes are mentioned. Selected attribution theory and the concepts of attributional styles then make up the majority theory, the emphasis is placed on the dimension of internality-externality. In the empiric part, there are four hypotheses defined using two psychodiagnostic methods tested on a set of people with psychosomatic disorder and compared with the healthy population. Three of the hypotheses were confirmed, one of them only partly. Key words: attribution attribution theory attributionalstyle internality-externality locus of control psychosomatic disorder/psychosomatic illness somatoform disorder (SFD) functional disorder medically unexplained symptoms (MUS)
Detection of functional disorders of platelets using the PFA device in comparison with conventional aggregometry
Klausová, Kateřina ; Bártů, Iva (advisor) ; Blažková, Hana (referee)
UNIVERZITA KARLOVA V PRAZE 2. lékařská fakulta Oddělení klinické hematologie ve FN Motol Kateřina Klausová Detection of functional disorders of platelets using the PFA device in comparison with conventional aggregometry Bachelor work Abstract The theme of this work is to compare two devices designed for measuring functional disorders of platelets - the PFA device and the agreggometer. The PFA device was introduced recently and measures closure time of capillary in a special cartridge. The measurement takes place in a whole blood sample. Aggregometer is used for stimulation of platelet aggregation by the inductors. The measurement takes place in platelet rich plasma. This work compares results of patients whose blood samples were measured on both devices. It figures out whether the results of the devices match and describes their advantages and disadvantages. The work leads to conclusion that is appropriate to use both devices for complementary results in the laboratory. Comparsion of patient samples demonstrates that patients with reduced percentage of aggregation have also prolonged capillary closure time.
Dysfunctions of musculoskeletal system of the rowers and their physiotherapy
ŠÍMOVÁ, Gabriela
This bachelor's thesis deals with dysfunctions of the musculoskeletal system of rowers, and possibilities of treatment by some physiotherapies. Rowing is a power-endurance sport, whose main target is to cover different distances in the shortest times using special rowing boats. This sport puts extraordinary demands on muscle performance of the upper and lower limbs and trunk. High loadings and overloading of the musculoskeletal system can lead to the formation of functional impairments or muscle imbalances. These dysfunctions reduce coordination, stability and overall performance of athletes, but also increases the risk of injury. However, despite extreme loads, the accident rate for rowers is not high, only 0,3 %, mainly because it's a non-contact sport. Rowers most often suffer from back pain or tendinitis, joint injuries, stress fractures and cramps. This bachelor's thesis is divided into two sections theoretical and practical. The theoretical section comprises basic knowledge an introduction to rowing, history of the sport, its characteristics, kinesiology of rowing motion and the most frequent musculoskeletal disorders in these athletes. This section also summarises knowledge of sports medicine and functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system, including causes and effects. The practical section describes methods of examination in physiotherapy and therapeutic procedures, including qualitative research data. This research was developed through case studies, including the medical history of probands, kinesiology entrance analysis, and design of a short-term treatment plan. The research covers a description of each course of therapy, kinesiology output analyses and an overall assessment of therapies. For each test person a specific long-term therapeutic plan was designed, and physiotherapy took place over a range of eight treatments. The aim of this thesis was to identify the most common musculoskeletal disorders in rowers, to show how we can apply appropriate kinesiotherapies, and to suggest approaches to prevent these disorders. This information may be used in the practice of sports and clinical physiotherapy or as educational material for a specific group of athletes.

Baxová, Dana ; Senetyčová, Miroslava (referee) ; Břízová, Marie (advisor)
The aim of my bachelors work was to describe the formation of functional disorders of the motion system in details in the theoretical part. There have also been described the most commonly used methods of therapy of the functional disorders. For each individual method of therapy are given the theoretical principles of the method, indications and contraindications, examples of exercises and practice exercises, advantages and disadvantages of the method. In the practical part was performed clinical examination and then was developed casuistry in selected patient. Patients were selected in the Department of Rehabilitative Medicine. Therapy was conducted with two patiens one and half months. Each patient had six respectively seven therapies. In the beginning patients were examined, then was conducted therapy in which were used methods described in the theoretical part. Therapy was finished by final examination and evaluation of the patiens.
Possibilities of physiotherapy in patients with hypermobility
BÜRGEROVÁ, Gabriela
This bachelor´s thesis deals with the issue of joint hypermobility. Hypermobility does not constitute a disease in the true sense, but a certain level of ligament quality. It is manifested by increased range of movements in joints over the physiological limit. Above all, it should be noted that especially the ligament fulfills the strengthening and fixing function of the musculoskeletal system. In cases of hypermobility there is increased laxity of ligaments and looseness of joint capsules, moreover, it is associated with low muscle tone. As a consequence of the insufficiency of ligament, hypermobility is accompanied with joint instability, which leads to the development of functional disorders. Therefore, physiotherapy constitutes a crucial role in the compensation of the hypermobility signs in order to avoid that functional disorders grow into structural ones. The aim of this work was mainly to explain the problems of hypermobility and to propose an appropriate physiotherapeutical treatment of hypermobile individuals. In the theoretical part of this work, I define the musculoskeletal system focused on the description of ligament and joints. It is followed by the explanation of functional disorders and their relationship with structural diseases. Then, I continue with a characteristics of hypermobility and the associated joint hypermobility syndrome, which I subsequently elaborate with the description of epidemiology, etiopathogenesis and clinical signs. Later on, I present the classification of hypermobility and diagnostic tests with a broader description of the most commonly used ones in the Czech Republic and abroad. In the final part, I come to the differential diagnosis and the characteristics of the treatment of hypermobile individuals. In the practical part of my thesis, I did a qualitative research. The subjects of my research were two adult men with confirmed hypermobility. I took the anamnesis of the two probands and performed an initital check-up including the examination of hypermobility according to Janda and also using goniometry. Based on the examination, I proposed a therapy under my leadership for the period of 2-3 months with 60 minutes sessions once a week. Probands were recommended to do exercise for about 15-20 minutes every day. For one of the probands we planned a total of 10 sessions. After the completion of the therapy, we conducted an output assessment and made a conclusion that the overall physical condition had improved, but due to the length of the therapy we failed to influence the hypermobility itself because it was impossible to influence the quality of the ligament in such a short time. Compensation of hypermobility is a question of a very long-term exercise. Unfortunately, we had to finish the therapy of the second proband before our seventh session because of sudden health complications. That was the reason why we did not reach any positive results. However, this case would also require a long period of time to compensate the hypermobility.
The possibilities of affection hypermobility of older school children
KRBEČEK, Jindřich
The bachelor's thesis at hand is based on a research on functional disorders of the musculoskeletal system, specifically focusing on congenital hypermobility in school children, paying special attention to shoulder and elbow joints. Hypermobility is a disorder of the musculoskeletal system, which causes excessive laxity of connective tissue that makes the joints get into extreme positions. This may cause damage not only to the articular cartilage, but also to the entire joint including the surrounding tissue. The thesis is divided into theoretical and practical parts.
