Development of diesel engine injection systems
Sikora, Ondřej ; Beran, Martin (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
The bachelor’s thesis has been created as a study on the development of fuel injection systems for diesel engines. The first part deals with the fuel system, which describes the preparation of fuel mixture. There are brief descriptions of individual system components and explains their functions. The main part deals with the injection device, which describes the specific technical solutions used in the past and in the present. Each system is discussed from a construction point of view and its functions. The last chapter describes the contemporary development of injection systems associated with complications and limitations.
Development and perspectives of common rail system
Gach, Jakub ; Kučera, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the Common Rail injection system. It describes the origins of the system, its principle and the function of the individual parts of the system. It also deals with the development of individual system generations and their use. It is clear from the thesis that it is one of the best present-day injection systems that meets all the today's requirements for the design and construction of a vehicle.
Common Rail for Four-cylinder CI Engine
Brhel, Štěpán ; Svída, David (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with instalation of high pressure injection system Common Rail on four-cylinder tractor CI engine. Thesis introduces in the first part the injection systems of CI and tractor engines and related issues. In the next part is solved the conversion of engine, design of most important components - injetor, high pressure pump, pressure accumulator and high-pressure pipes and then stress analysis of new components.
Optimization of Manufacturing and Assembling Technology of the Valve Bolt
Hrouzková, Andrea ; Zapletal, Josef (referee) ; Doležal, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis aimed to study the impact of manufacturing and assembly technology, the valve bolt fitted to diesel high pressure pump CP3 in the Bosch, which has been found to leak. As experimental material was chosen heat treated bolts M16x1,5 made of material 12 050th. Groups of samples were produced in two ranges hardness. Experimental determination of the optimum range of hardness was assessed on the basis of the results of the process of the screw and set the value of plastic deformation of the sealing surfaces of the parts. Experimental section also deals with the analysis of bearing surfaces on the pump and the components, after the screw process. To some extent, is observed as surface treatment
Testing Device Idler Pulley Design
Čoček, Jan ; Svída, David (referee) ; Ramík, Pavel (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is the design of automatic tensioning device for regulating forces in driving belts of high-pressure pumps under long-term testing, in collaboration with Bosch Diesel s.r.o. in Jihlava. The paper describes the development of the mechatronic device, from the selection of components, going through the design phase of the automatic electronic device, up to mechanical design and prototype execution. An assessment is made of custom device based on the test in real operations and economic benefits for the client are evaluated in the conslusion.
Hydraulic part of plunger pump adjustment for higher pressures
Dvořák, Petr ; Klas, Roman (referee) ; Habán, Vladimír (advisor)
First part of the master thesis is about displacement pump. Second part is about power plunger pumps. In the third part are equations for power plunger pumps. In the last part the strength calculation of the proposed hydraulic part of the plunger pump was performed using the finite element method in ANSYS. The screw fatigue life is also calculated here. At the end of this section, ANSYS Fluent flow calculation is performed in the suction valve area.
Robotized workplace for parts manipulation
Stief, Tomáš ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Knoflíček, Radek (advisor)
The theoretic part of barchelor works solves the lay-out of the automatic robotized workplace for the handling the housings of the high-pressure pumps. The works includes both the calculation of the power consumption of the robotized workplace and the calculation of the realization costs and consequently the economic return. There is mentioned both the principle of the Common - Rail fuel injection system and its using in the recent Diesel engines. There is discussed both the mechanical stopper of the palette with the inclusion of the housings of the pumps and the automatic reloader of the blisters in the practical part of the barchelor works.
Common Rail System for 6-cylinder Tractor Engine
Černoch, Josef ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
This thesis deals with the installation of modern high pressure injection common rail system to six-cylinder tractor engine. This system replaces injection system with in-line fuel injection pump. Common Rail system installation on an existing engine is designed with minimal design changes to the engine block and engine head. It is advantageous to minimize production costs of the transition to high-pressure injection system. The thesis contains the design and stress analysis of the new component for high-pressure injection system.
Use of WJM/AWJ Method in a Firm
Strnad, Pavel ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Kalivoda, Milan (advisor)
Assessment of the use of technology of machining material by unconventional method for cutting using abrasive waterjet in engineering company. The possibilities of this technology with respect to its technological possibilities and limits. Demonstration of basic capabilities and behavior of this method when cutting the samples of stainless steel. The assessment and analysis of the executed tests.
Fuel Systems of SI-engines
Faiman, Jiří ; Drápal, Lubomír (referee) ; Dundálek, Radim (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create a list of fuel systems used in modern gasoline engines and describe the basic components of these systems. It will then be described the function of each of these components and modes of operation of the fuel system at different modes of engine operation. Finally, will be characterized by the selected engines with these systems.
