STREAMLINING OF THE PACKAGING PROCESS AT ASSEMBLY SITES

The thesis deals with finding a way to streamline the process of packaging stabilizers at assembly workplaces in order to increase its productivity. The analysis of the current state in which the process is in is carried out using lean manufacturing methods. On the basis of this analysis, and after its evaluation, a proposal is made to make the process leaner and thus increase its productivity.

The diploma thesis deals with the problematics of lean production in a selected company. The analytical part includes the introduction of the company and the analysis of the current state with using lean manufacturing tools to optimize material flows. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part describes the objectives and methodology, followed by the theoretical basis of the work and analysis of the current state of the company. The final part includes suggestions of possible solutions leading to elimination or improvement of identified problems.

Optimization of the Coil Forming Workplace

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the analysis of the production process and its optimization. Improvement is achieved thanks to a predictive simulation. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the concepts associated with the process management of the company and measurement of work. Furthermore, the theoretical part focuses on the improvement of business processes within the process of digitalization and methodology of simulation projects associated with the creation of a predictive digital twin. The analytical part contains an introduction of the manufacturing company and a global analysis of processes. Then, with the help of several techniques, the production process which will be optimized is analyzed. The design part of the thesis describes the current simulation models and the proposed form of the process. Individual options are evaluated, and the benefits of the proposed solution are stated.

The thesis includes detailed analysis of the current state, where processe are described, when anticoincident product find out. On the basis of these analysis and finding out of possible lacks will be recommended solution, which help to reduction of incidence anticoincident products.

The aim of this diploma thesis is look at ways of optimising business processes in a specific company acting as an insurance intermediary. The thesis consists of a theoretical part which defines the basic concepts of the issue. Softwérové a hardvérové aplikácie zaznamenávajú veľké množstvo informácií do protokolov udalostí. Každé dva roky sa množstvo zaznamenaných dát viac než zdvojnásobí. Dolovanie procesov je relatívne mladá disciplína, ktorá sa nachádza na rozmedzí strojového učenia a dolovania dát na jednej strane a modelovania a analýzy procesov na druhej strane. Cieľom dolovania procesov je popísať a analyzovať skutočné procesy extrahovaním znalostí z protokolov udalostí, ktoré sú v dnešných aplikáciách bežne dostupné. Táto práca mieri na spojenie obchodných príležitostí (organizácie bohaté na dáta; dopyt po službách BPM; limitácie na strane tradičnej dodávky BPM služieb) s technickými možnosťammi Dolovania procesov. Cieľom práce je návrh produktu, ktorý bude riešiť potreby zákazníkov a poskytovateľov služieb v oblasti Dolovania procesov lepšie než súčasné riešenie vybranej spoločnosti.

Design of a Manufacturing Process Management

The aim of this diploma thesis is to create and apply a methodology to improve the manufacturing process. Processes for the passage of a contract through the company and activities of the foreman were analyzed. According to this analysis, a methodology was created for continuous improvement of the manufacturing process. This methodology was applied to the data obtained in the analysis. Based on the application of the methodology, actions have been proposed to improve the production process.

Assembly Line Improvement Proposal

The bachelor's thesis is focused on improving the process of a manufacturing company following customer orders. First, the theoretical starting points of improvement tools such as Lean Six Sigma are defined. Subsequently, the processed product and the company covering the production are introduced. Then, improvement tools are used to analyse the current state of the investigated process. The result is a proposal for a new solution, which is then evaluated, and the economic benefit is calculated.

Process Optimization in the Company

The bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of a production process and its optimization with the aim of streamlining production. The improvement is achieved through applying lean manufacturing tools and advanced analytical tools of simulation modelling. The theoretical section of the thesis introduces used principles, methods, and analyses. The analytical part evaluates the current state of the production process and serves as a basis for the design part, whereas the design part analyses the material and information flows using the Value-Stream Mapping methodology. The simulation model was created to aid the balancing of operations and the re-engineering of the production line. The output of this study proposes enhancements to the problem areas of the existing production process.
