Demonstrate the principles of application development for Android on the example of a simple game
Tatoušek, Petr ; Pecinovský, Rudolf (advisor) ; Oraný, Vladimír (referee)
Demonstration of the Android application development principles explained on a simple game is a thesis describing in it's theoretical part Android OS. It also briefly describes it's history and especially it's architecture emphasizing on my thesis' part relevant to the practi-cal part of my dissertation. It also focuses on the general applications' architecture princi-ples for this operating system. In the practical part of the thesis I tend to describe the application development principles for Android OS. This is achieved on an sample application. This sample application is an implementation of a text-based adventure game in the Java language. It uses SQLite data-base for storing the game data. There is a game framework which enables entering diffe-rent game data to the database and thus playing different games with divergent game plays.
Wireles Flying Object Telemetry
Bednář, Martin ; Šimek, Václav (referee) ; Růžička, Richard (advisor)
This paper is engaged in specification, design and implementation of a telemetry module for flying object. Specifically, it focuses on the selection of the appropriate carrier frequency of the integrated circuit providing bidirectional communication to a sufficient distance and design of the protocol used in the transmission. Furthermore, the document focuses on the design of communication modules using these integrated circuits, altimeter sensor module, module to control the actuators and design of the application for mobile phones used to display the measured data. With regard to legislative and technical options, I chose a carrier frequency of 2.4 GHz. For this frequency is commercially available integrated circuit CC2511, which in cooperation with integrated circuit CC2591 should be able to provide telemetry range about 2 km. I chose BMP085 sensor for altitude measuring. It is communicating over I2C bus as well as a module for controlling the actuator, which uses a microcontroller ATMEGA48-20AU. The mobile phone communicates with the ground station via the USB bus.
Application Development for Android OS
Krejčí, Petr ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Mittner, Jan (referee)
This bachelor thesis discusses the development of mobile applications for the Android operating system. The main objective of this thesis is to demonstrate the process of mobile application development and demonstrate various techniques and tools to accomplish it. Another aim is to show that the selected type of application can be implemented as an application for the Android operating system. Partial goals are to create a functional prototype application and to conduct usability testing. Bachelor thesis takes the reader through the entire process of mobile application development focused on the subject of procrastination. The first part is devoted to analysis of competitive software applications. The second part contains the definition of the target users and application requirements. Analysis and design of the application forms is the third part of the work. The last section describes the implementation of a prototype application and its detailed testing.
