Upgrade of testing workplace for solar cells
Řezníček, Martin ; Křivík, Petr (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The master‘s thesis is focused on the modification of measurement workplace for solar cells. In the first part of the thesis are introduced general problems of the solar energy and possible use in the international power supply, the details about the photovoltaic effect, processing of solar cells and their subsequent parameters. More further in the text the autor is concerned with causes of solar cells defects formation and representation of the most important defects. For defects detection are known the detection methods of solar cells, which are generally described in the text. The second part of the thesis includes detailed description of the LBIC method and workplace both the VUT Brno, and in Solartec, Ltd. The most important point of this part is project and description of innovated workplace from hardware and software realization. There is out of print the function and the description of the user interface and subsequently there are mentioned results gained from original and innovated workplace. In the conclusion are summarized whole activities of the master’s thesis, described and evaluated achieved results and outlined the direction, where would the other development of the LBIC workplace on VUT Brno be proceeding.
Diagnostic of photovoltaic cells by LBIV
Sládek, František ; Jandová, Kristýna (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
This dissertation main point is to take up with fotovoltanic cells metering methods. Dissertation work dwells with the most common defects rising during the fotovoltanic cells manufacturing. Also, there is a diagnosis workshop proposal and realisation. Workshop uses the Light Beam Inducted Voltages (LBIV) method. By the help of this method, fotovoltanic cells structures are analised and compared to the Light Beam Inducted Current (LBIC).
Characterisation solar cell electric properties by CCD camera
Steiner, Patrik ; Jandová, Kristýna (referee) ; Vaněk, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is the characterization of electrical properties of solar cell using CCD camera. Diagnostic methods are based on electroluminescence and microplasma emitted from the surface of the solar cell. The results are then compared with the method LBIC (Light Beam Induced Current) and described the various defects in industrial production.
Workplace for testing of solar cells using LBIC method
Harašta, Tomáš ; Jandová, Kristýna (referee) ; Fořt, Tomáš (advisor)
Subject this diploma thesis is introduction to solar problems, with folow-up focus on solar elements and reflection about their defects. The next part is dedicated diagnostic method LBIC (Light Beam Induced Current) that help to detect defects of solar elements. The work is concerned with aplication this method in general view, from construction of workplace, throuhg hardware to software. The last part is focused on results processing and analysis.
Characterization of multicrystalline solar cells with LBIC method in different wavelength
Fořt, Tomáš ; Jandová, K. ; Vaněk, J. ; Boušek, J.
For the determination of defects in the solar cells was used a method LBIC (Light Beam Induced Current). We use LED light source with various wavelengths to reveal the different types of defects. Using multiple wavelengths enables detecting defects in different depths. Surface defects can be observed in shorter wavelengths (400nm and 470nm). The junction region is well observed at wavelengths close to 525nm. Defects in the base material are visible using the light at a wavelength of 630nm or 890nm.
